I had a wonderful dinner at эфир. I have been traveling for three weeks in Russia, and this is my favorite restaurant yet. The ambiance is warm and comfortable. The staff are attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I had the эфир cocktail, a salad with chicken and peanut sauce, mushroom and chicken pasta, and a slice of black cherry cake. Every item was excellent. In the US, such a meal would cost over $40. Here it cost less than $15. A friendly staff member came over to speak with me, stating that she heard there was an English-speaking customer this evening and wanting to wish me well. She made me feel very welcomed. If you are ever visiting Ulan-Ude, I strongly recommend Эфир.

Great cozy place that seems to be busy in the evenings but it's quite well managed and the wait wasn't too long. Though I remember it being fully booked on some weekend evening so booking a table in advance might be a good idea, especially if you are coming there with a big group of friends :) The service was prompt despite them telling us that we might need to wait for beef for up to 40 min. We really enjoyed beef medallions and beef salad with mushrooms. Their fresh cakes are really the highlight of the menu. The vibe of the place is nice. Overall great experience.

Nice and lovely staff, especially manager - a blond girl. Good value for money. Different cuisine proposal, even pizza. I took a shrimps salad and a tuguri dessert which both were good, especially the cake was light and delicious. Attention! Many people with children!
