Good location in the center of the city, many souvenir shops around. It's the first high level (12 floors) building in Ulan-Ude :). But cannot say anything about rooms, didn't stay there.

Several years ago it was just another Soviet hotel without significant service and outdated rooms, but now it is quite modern. For the price maybe they have the best quality in Ulan-Ude.

In my opinion there are better places in ulan ude. Almost in city center, 2 minutes from lenin statue. Look is that of a restored soviet hotel, rooms are small as well as bathrooms, but very clean. Parking is not safe, during the night, for motorcycles so they arranged for me to leave motorcycle in a nearby hotel which has enclosed and guarded parking. Restaurant is so so even though it serves buryatian dishes. Some good souvenir shops in the lobby. Large breakfast room. Staff professional, good english.
