These guys used to be amazing. I used to travel 50 min for their Donner. However now they are cutting corners! The chips are no longer fresh, they have gone with a cheaper lower quality supplier and it shows! The donner is really stingy portions and is very disappointing… served cold. They are surviving from their reputation, their awards, their previous YouTube reviews… but now that reputation is built, the care, quality, and passion has gone. I will No longer be a customer of Atalays… for the sake of the public, please take my advice and go back to how you used to operate. This is constructive criticism, Please take it. Not nice to rip people off with low quality and smaller portions. Added response: as mentioned above, this is “constructive criticism”, we as customers are entitled to free speech in regards to product/service. I certainly will not be back! I wish you the best of luck.

I herd Loads of great reviews about this van and i get this. Burt rock hard kabab meat and rubbery wrap. So disappointed. Wont be returning back there.

Thought I would give it a try considering the long queue and reviews. TBH I was not that impressed with the Doner wrap flavour and quality I got that day. The salad tasted fresh but expected better overall. They forgot to put the chilli source inside. Will maybe give the other fresh kebabs ago next time. The staff there are really friendly and helpful so 5 star for them.

Amazing! Situated in the old market town of Thame… Me and my son were greeted with open arms and when asked what we like were offered a quick sampler FOC so we could make our mind up. It was so tasty that we said we want everything, which was proceeded by a mixed wrap of everything! My new favourite best ever kebabs!

Kebab was ok (not the best I have had) More salad then meat and very dear at close to £10 for a Kebab on its own At that price should be so large amount for two Even London with overheads of a shop a lot cheaper then here Is it award winning for the highest cost kebab in the UK !

Delicious meat and fresh salad. Very friendly customer service. Food really good! About 30 minutes awaiting time as it was busy. But take way without fork? ;(

Out standing, Kebab!! the first time I tried because normally my mum cooked every single day. Can't get a chance to try. I grap Chicken Kebab Regular. because I just want to try it. what is the taste. wow, excellent and great meat juicy. Normally, if you ask a HongKonger, did we like chicken breast. we must say NO. we only love Thigh or wings. After I ordered. we talkative with their lovely chief. they gift me extra Fries . OMG. too kind. their extra fries are nicely for me. I love their chips. honestly, I will say Fries. prefect night prefect food. Delicious. why they always got many people waiting their Fresh made Kebab. Cheers

Been visiting the van for the last two years due to the award and a popular YouTube reviewers video. The quality is always much higher than what you would typically find from other Kebab places and is a really slick operation from such a small unit. The mixed meat (3 different meats) is always a stand out option in my view, with the meats tasting very fresh and the homemade chilli and garlic sauces which are the highlight for me. Having said that i dont get to visit often, but when i do its always top notch, however my last visit i noticed some small differences. Firstly i found the Lamb Doner meat was a little thinner cut than usual, it used to be much thicker cut which made it very unique, but may have just been a one off this time which was fine. Secondly the Chilli and Garlic pots cost 90p each, they used to be huge but unfortunatley you now just a much smaller pot rather than the larger pot that was always given before. A little dissapointing as getting 4 of them would cost you £3.60 for less now. They still taste great but a dissatisfying change for sure. Ultimately i wont knock off any stars, but hopefully at least management looks on bringing back the old sizes of the sauce pots or drops the new size ones to 50p which is more fair for what your getting now. I went around 3-4 months back and was not like this so must have been a recent change, which i can completely understand times are increasingly tough for businesses. In summary its a great place, excellent food and super friendly staff (just to note its cash only though)

Only place I get kebabs from now even though I have to travel 30 mins to do so. Wait can be long sometimes but always worth it. Food tastes great and salad is always fresh and always accommodating to particular and fussy orders.

The kabab was very authentic and not some average kabab van and the atmosphere was good I went there a year ago and it use to be a small trailer kabab van now it the size of half of an apartment and has a giant freezer and a TV and the workers were very nice but I didn't like it that you had to pay for sauce and the wraps were tight my slogan is if its not tight it is not right

Ok enough donner kebab. To be honest I was expecting a lot better after watching YouTube reviews. Cash only. Think I paid £9.20 for a small Lamb Donner.

I’ve gone to this kebab van for years. I’ve always remembered generous portions, great prices and good flavours all round. Had been a while since I had this kebab and it’s won a good few awards so decided to go back to one of my favourites. Unfortunately not the same experience. My large mixed chicken and doner kebab was more expensive (wasn’t too fussed at the time) but the portion was abit of a joke. I got large and had a few bits of chicken, and barely any lamb. All round just looked like a small kebab. Not with the £11 something of whatever I paid. Could get a bigger potion for somewhere else locally for less. Meat was also dry, and the pitta was not great. Was pretty gutted as usually I get defeated by my kebabs but had no issues this time around lol. And since having awards I thought it would be even better than before. On the bright side my cheesy chips were pretty decent. Cheese melted and plenty of it, good portion. And the same for the cheese bites. But the main event shouldn’t be outshined by side orders. I hope this was just a “bad day” but have heard previously from mates that it’s not the same kebab van we remembered. Sorry guys.

One of the best kebabs in the uk. I love the salad in particular and the amount of options they do. For example you can get lemon juice, jalapeños, mixed herbs, etc. It’s so easy to do online ordering but you kind of have to order 1 hour in advance in my experience. I especially love the small chicken wrap with all salad, both chillies, chilli sauce and yogurt and mint or garlic mayo. The doner is also delicious really peppery and not greasy. Love the chips and cheesy chips again you can personalise these a lot like extra salt and vinegar, extra crispy, sauces, etc.

Possibly the best take away I have ever experienced. The food was so fresh and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended The Scottish visitor

A-MAZ-ING if you haven't had something from here you need to try this place. The portions are huge and tasty too, great service and prices fair and reasonable.
