Mark, Alan and Ella were all so friendly and welcoming. When I initially enquired, Mark suggested spending some time with Alan and witnessing the ‘behind the scenes.’ I spent about 1.5 hours with Alan and Ella and it was such a special experience. It was so nice to see how passionate and talented they are. I’m thrilled with the result but it was amazing to be involved in the process too. Thank you so much!

Some of the best customer service I've ever had. Two genuine guys with great passion, experience and care for their craft. I highly recommend. I was able to enter the workshop in the back of the shop and watch the whole process of my ring being re-sized, and even was able to do some of the soldering myself. 10/10

We went to 42 Abeville to have our gold smelted down and made into wedding rings. We were allowed to see the whole process and take part and it was a wonderful experience. Mark and Alan were fantastic hosts, extremely knowledgeable and engaging. We felt in safe hands with Alan and his vast experience as a goldsmith. All in all, it was a great way to spend a few hours, our rings look fantastic and we will savour this memory for a long time!

The 42 Abbeville team are fantastic! I got an old family engagement ring completely redesigned and the result was a personal design with elements relating back to the original design. Victoria's design skill in translating what I wanted and providing me with guidance on what would work was top notch. I couldn't be happier with the final product and the full service received. Also even if looking for just a ring repair or resize, the team are professional and quick at getting these things sorted so would recommend for not just larger commissions.

I came with my partner to have my engagement ring resized, he also had another ring fixed and resized and we couldn’t be happier with the results! I recently had an extremely positive experience. My fiancé and I both needed grandparents rings resizing for out upcoming wedding. and found 42 Abbeville though other reviews. I took the rings in and having little dealing with jewellers previously, I didn't really know know what to expect. From the moment i walked in the whole team couldn't have been more friendly and reassuring. I also asked them to resize a bracelet for my partner at the same time and took the chance to pick Alan's brain about making the 5 spare stones from the bracelet link into earrings & a pendant at some point in the future. To my amazement, I was told that it would all be ready for collection within 24 hours. When i went back the next day I met with the charming Victoria, the rings were perfectly sized and beautifully cleaned as a bonus. The bracelet was adjusted and to my surprise & of his own initiative, Alan had found to time to make the spare stones into the earrings and pendant for us and said he would just charge us his cost for doing so which i was delighted with. Even without this the whole job came in at a very reasonable price. A fantastic experience from start to finish. Big thanks to Alan, Victoria, Mark and the lovely apprentice (who's name i have embarrassingly forgotten.) We will certainly be coming back.

Highly recommend if you need a stone tightened, cleaned and polished. They fixed my engagement ring in no time. The team was lovely, caring and professional. I was very happy with the end result and will be coming back!

I have been to many jewellers for fixing nice jewelry and this place is hands down the best. The staff were so friendly and we just chatted whilst my watch was being repaired, and it just made the experience all the more great. They were finished very quickly and charged me in a super accommodative way. Pricing is 10/10. See you guys soon!

I had a brilliant experience with Victoria making amends to a ring using an heirloom diamond. She created the exact design I imagined which looked even better in real life - and for a much cheaper price than I was quoted by other jewellers. Id definitely recommend
