Beautiful place! I would definitely recommend you come here if you get the chance. Me and my partner went here for a free interactive experience that accompanies ‘The boy with two hearts’ stage production and thought it was well crafted and informative. The centre itself is huge! And such a famous landmark in Cardiff Bay which should be visited even if you do not intend to watch a performance.

Went to see Everyone's talking about Jamie and I have to say WOW what a show. Every single character was just truly amazing and there singing was just beautiful. My daughter loves this film and watches it over and over and was smiling constantly. And the staff at the venue are just as amazing as always they are friendly, helpful. Kind and every time I go there always makes my daughter smile. Also behind all that on the Web chat they were extremely helpful and sorted out a huge problem we had come across so I want to say a very big thank you to them as my daughter would not have seen it if it wasn't for them so thank you from the bottom of my heart ♥

This center is Wales's national arts center located in the Cardiff Bay area. It's completed since 2009, which is 14 years ago

Visited to watch the lion king with my family. Amazing show in a very good theatre. Seats were comfy enough and set out for optimum viewing of the stage. Bars and shops had a good choice of drinks and snacks to enjoy throughout the show. The lift for disabled and elderly access to the upper levels i don’t think was enough for the amount of people requiring use. One group ended up back on the fourth floor twice where we were waiting as the lift seemingly had a mind of its own. Would definitely watch another show here in future

A must visit while in Cardiff. I always thought this truly magnificent looking building was on the waterfront but it isn't.... But not that far. We didn't go inside but just enjoyed its enormity from Butes Place. At night it comes alive with beautiful colours. A Majestic structure that is a sight to enjoy.

Love this theatre. Its so light and airy. Great location and walking distance from the Centre. The chairs are seriously uncomfortable. They need to be slanted back a bit. My back was hurting.

Went to see Annie came out just before the break (20:28) to take some meds due to being in pain and unable to sit any long. asked stuart at the top floor bar for some soft drinks to be told I’d have to wait until the interval at 20:35. Absolute joke. The performance is very good just the seats not quite right angle for the nerve damage in my legs and back.

State-of-the-art theatre! What an amazing place to see amazing performances. I had the pleasure to see the Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, and it was completely stunning. The building, the stage, and the staff were all fantastic. Loved it.

I am a huge musical theatre fan and I honestly would never go anywhere else other than the WMC! I’ve seen so many (20+) shows here and they’ve all been so fantastic. The staff are amazing and everyone is so helpful!

The venue and the show, 42nd street, were absolutely superb in every way. The only negative was the fact that several members of the audience were eating crisps and sweets during the performance. Nothing adds to an incredible performance like the rustle of plastic. This seems to be getting really common. It would nice if people were considerate, but I think it's time that the venues state that eating is not permitted during the performance, when they announce the photos and videos are not permitted

Alladin was a great show but a bit expensive and the prices go even higher as you get closer to Christmas

Had a walk through the public area on a Sunday afternoon in the sun. I credible building. The photos that are already on here pretty much cover it. Well worth a visit.

What an amazing venue inside the auditorium. Saw the Take That Greatest Days musical. Brilliant cast and the musicians under the stage were playing so well you would have thought they were the real group. Totally enjoyed the experience. Easy to get to as well with good parking opposite.

Wonderful performance on Charlie and the Chocolate factory. Place was clean and tidy , good selection of refreshments too. The lady checking our tickets on level 4 was a total grump... hushering back to our seats claiming she's closing the door after the interval was over stating we'd had our 20 minutes, we sat down and waited another 5 before she closed the door and show re started. She could do with cheering up and being friendly to guests or finding another job ! 🙄

We had an outstanding experience watching Les Miserables but with the help from the extremely helpful and kind staff! We were late comers for the show very lost and worried with a venerable family member. But staff put us at ease extremely quickly got us to our seats! Thank you and would recommend the venue and theatre to anyone!

We went to see South Pacific and everything was perfect. The play, our seats, everything! It's a fabulous venue. ... it's now April and last night we saw Mother Goose with sir Ian McKellen. Fabulous show! Excellent seats! Mid Stalls, row D. The Centre is the BEST!

It was one of serene experience at the millennium centre. It's close proximity to mermaid quay easily accessible through public transport makes the place more approachable. Once you walk down near the bay area, there are quite a bit of boating options. Depending on what kind of boating interests you can choose one. The mermaid quay has a lot of eatery options available. If you are traveling by public transport from Cardiff central to Cardiff bay the bus number 6 shall be useful. A good destination to spend time. Have a lovely time.

Absolutely lovely venue. Been to a few stage performances and a stand up in a smaller hall. Fantastic experience.

Amazing! All the staff were incredibly kind & helpful. The whole experience was really welcoming. We went to see "Book of Mormon", I laughed so much my tummy ached. It was brilliant, very well cast and the orchestra were fantastic. A really hilarious show.

The stage is massive and makes for a great experience. We went to see an art installation here that was amazing due to the lay out of the place. Nice staff. Needs more of a wow factor in the bar and cafe though.

Stunning architecture in Cardiff Bay Only giving 3* just because on our visit, it was a bit of an anticlimax, with much of the building closed off due to Covid controls.

It was closed when I went but it’s still nice place to take a picture or just sit and enjoy it. I went there more than once and I like it every time. Hopefully next time I’ll go it will be open so I can go inside and see what’s in there. Yeah so as I said I would definitely recommend to go and have a look. Many more places are around that area so you work waste time of going there.

Would normally give it a high score but took an hour this morning to buy tickets: half an hour chasing my tail on the website and half an hour waiting on the phone. Not a happy bunny! Website worked perfectly yesterday.

Most enjoyable show Book of Mormon. However abit concerned not many people wearing masks during the show. Considering the rising cases in Wales generally.

I have been to see a few shows now at the WMC and always enjoy it. It is one of my favourite arts venues. The architecture is beautiful, the seating in the theatre is very comfortable in comparison to other venues and provides a good view, staff are friendly and it just has a nice vibe to it. I went to the Llais festival and had a wonderful day listening to different talks, music, immersive art installations and wandering round the exhibits. Lovely to see a real eclectic mix of music too, with soul/rap, Welsh male voice choir, orchestral and indie. The Death songbook with the Paraorchestra, Charles Hazlewood, Brett Anderson and Gwenno was brilliant although a little short (the audience clearly wanted more!). We prebooked parking in the Q park next to the venue which made it extremely easy to park up and scan our ticket. Will definitely go back, love it. Toilets at the venue were lovely and clean. A couple of coffee shop/bars in the venue. The vegan mixed berry muffins in one of the cafes were delicious.

All the staff were very helpful, everywhere was very clean and as always quality shoes performed. Was nice to see local beer and cider available too, will say ordering your intermission drinks before makes it soo much easier

Gorgeous venue amazingly clean, toilets are very well kept. We saw the Lion King which was amazing and well worth the 2yr wait thank you Covid! So why four stars? Seating is extremely uncomfortable. Although padded seats they offer little in way of support and the seat squabs are very short. Also we were there on one of the hottest days of the year and heat was stifling, surely this venue has air conditioning if not an investment should be made or the theatre doors where stewards are based, should of been opened to allow some airflow especially after a global pandemic.

It’s been two years since we did this. The largest Sing For Water fundraiser in the UK, and it happens here in Roald Dahl Plass, courtesy of the amazing Natural Voice Harmony network. 40 choirs and over 500 singers all in harmony. Quite a sublime and uplifting experience.

Always a fantastic show, staff for the most part are helpful and friendly, however the seats are horrendous! Very narrow and feel like you are leaning forward, plus leg room is none existent. This time we chose to sit on a balcony, the chairs are a bit wider and moveable which made for a more comfortable visit.

Went to see We Will Rock You on April 5th after waiting nearly 2 years due to covid. What an awesome show it was in a great venue.

Attended Donald Gordon Theatre to see Michael Ball's Showtime. What a fantastic night! Helpful staff, brilliant view from Mid Stalls. Be warned, bar is expensive, but expected it to be.

The Wales Millennium Centre found on Cardiff Bay is a spectacular sight to behold and a wonderful place to go to see some great performances of major productions and a fantastic hub to showcase the arts in Wales. It’s easy to get to and the Bay itself is it’s own great space, yet so close to the city centre if you need to get into it.

Absolutely incredible night last night at the WMC. Will be coming back in the near future!

Such a magnificent venue! The main auditorium is a study in understated gloriousness (I do like a bit of wood) and jas good eye lines from all areas. Photography of the front of the building is pretty much compulsory for first time visitors; it's rather impressive. And when you realise the main bars are right behind "that"... it's something to behold. Only hint to negativity is the chaos at the bar during intervals. Latest visit returned a 100% fail to procure two much desired tubs of ice cream; purely down to poor organisation. We survived though, because we're strong. But back to the positives! The shows here are, in my experience, absolutely brilliant. Recent joys have been in La Bohéme, and My Fair Lady (pic); both extraordinary productions and a real theatrical "experience". Opera, ballet, musical theatre, and more. Book tickets, and enjoy your treat.
