The
place
is
quite
well
stocked,
especially
with
books,
but
you
**must**
be
prepared,
both
in
terms
of
magic
knowledge
and
in
dealing
with
the
salesman,
a
fairly
old
man
whose
name
I
don’t
remember.
He
kept
pushing
books
produced
by
the
shop
itself,
while
dodging
my
questions
about
other
books
and
giving
extremely
generic
answers
in
regards
to
the
contents
of
either,
not
demonstrating
anything
at
all.
After
a
while
of
him
advertising
the
shop-produced
titles,
in
people
pleaser
fashion,
I
ended
up
buying
one
of
them
as
well,
Impromptu
Secrets,
which
proved
to
be
quite
useless
and
uncreative,
especially
considering
that
I
already
knew
almost
everything
contained
in
it,
which
the
salesman
should’ve
known,
since
I
had
told
him
what
I
had
studied
so
far.
Clearly,
he
didn’t
even
think
about
it
and
just
treated
me
like
a
newbie
to
grab
money
from
(probably
because
of
my
age,
but
ignoring
the
fact
that
I
had
been
studying
magic
for
6-7
years
and
had
gone
beyond
intermediate
level)
In
short,
prove
your
worth,
or
be
terribly
insistent
if
you
want
to
get
some
value
out
of
this
shop
(and
you
surely
can).
