Lovely cafe, we came here by surprise and it’s very pretty. We had the matcha tiramisu and matcha expresso. We were very impressed with the cake as it’s so well made and delicious. The matcha espresso was very disappointing because you would think there’s coffee in there but it just tasted like matcha powder with hot water in a small cup. We would go here again but just for the cake. No drinks!

Super lovely cake and nice coffee. Opened by Japanese But they’ve adjust their taste according to the Europeans so the cakes are super sweet… it’s the European sweet not the Japanese sweet. Anyway here is Uk, hope the British people love it 🙃

It tastes so good ! I love cakes but I often find them too heavy and intense. This place however, offers you pastries that are light and airy, and delicious ! I had a chocolate banana cake and a sweet plum tea, and both exceeded my expectations. Such a lovely find in my neighbourhood ☺️

Very popular cafe 2min walk from Ealing Broadway station. Make good coffee, but it’s their cakes that are showstoppers. Nice Japanese pastries too. I would recommend the banana chocolate cake.

The most “Japan” Japanese Cafe I’ve visited in the UK. All staff are Japanese or Japanese speaking local, totally no problem if you order in their language, definitely give me a feel of going back “home”. They sells different kinds of pastry like cakes and pan, also some sandwitches, all very authentic Japanese style. Their drinks are superb, from taste to presentation are top notch. The shop is spacious but only have a few tables which makes it a comfortable place to chill and relax, however, may be many people also thinks that way make they have a policy of only 2 hour dinning time.

Came here on a recommendation and the cakes/pastries are amazing! We got the banana chocolate and strawberry short cake and both were so light and airy. Would love to try their other desserts too. I had the oat matcha latte but they also have a range of other specialty drinks too that sound great. A great little spot in the area!

Great Japanese style cakes. Ordered via Uber eats. Great cakes.

As a Japanese Food Lover, I like this cafe a lots, it’s definitely authentic macha espresso and macha rolls that the taste of Macha is strong enough and the sweetness is relatively low comparing to some local style cakes. I would love to come again 💕

Delicious Japanese/french pastries and cakes. You can’t go wrong with any of the cakes. Matcha tiramisu is my favorite. Skip coffee for tea here

As an ex-expat in Japan of 15 years, I have finally found a Truly authentic Japanese cafe with a wide selection of pastries, cakes and drinks in London! What a delight! Matcha tiramisu, pumpkin croquet and sen cha are fabulous! Yet to go through the full selection of Wa’s dishes, so will be coming back soon! The cafe gets very very busy, hope they can expand soon or somehow add more tables for more customers.

The coffee here is nice, although it may not be the absolute best I've had, it's definitely a great deal considering the price. The staff is simply amazing and very friendly. I also tried their sandwich, which, I must say, is outstanding, although it comes at a slightly higher price point.

🍞🍰 "Morning Delight at WA Cafe! 🌸🥐" 👋 Hey there, fellow foodies and coffee lovers! 🌟 Just had the most delightful morning at WA Cafe in Ealing. 🇯🇵☕️ If you're up for an unforgettable breakfast or afternoon tea experience, this place is a must-visit. (Melon pan) melon bread that was like a soft, heavenly hug on the inside and had that perfect crunch on the outside. 🍈😋 Seriously, it's like they turned a melon into a bread! And the Mont Blanc? 🍫✨, that was a work of art! Layers of chestnut goodness that melted in my mouth with every bite. The place itself is a blend of bakery and confectionery, where sophistication meets scrumptiousness. 🍰🥖 And while it might be a tad pricier compared to the usual joints, the quality of every bite totally justifies it. So, if you're ready to treat your taste buds to an adventure and your eyes to edible art, give WA Cafe a go. Trust me, it's like a one-way ticket to Tokyo's culinary wonders. 🛫🇯🇵

This is a Japanese bakery and it makes the most delicious cakes and pastries you'll find anywhere in London. From Japanese classics like An-pan (delicious soft roll containing red bean paste) and sumptuous Japanese toast bread to French pastries, exquisite cakes and more. The shop is well staffed and very friendly. Only negative points to make: it's difficult to park nearby and as expected for this quality, it costs a few quid - but it's worth it, always good value.

It’s so nice to find places like this - where you are happy to spend your money. So far I’ve tried the Matcha roll and sesame cheesecake. Both are delicious. Cheesecake wasn’t my cup of tea but this one certainly is. Well done to the business. Your staff is very friendly too.

Excellent choice of cake no matter if it’s sweet or salty. They have a large variety to choose from, pastry, cream cake, viennoiserie, it’s like a combination of French bakery and Japanese bakery. The chestnut cake is my favourite. Their coffee and matcha tea are nice and must try. You can even collect point for drink card. It’s better go by train as hard to find parking.

Delicious cakes are already cut in a small pieces and sold for each package. Japanese bread is soft and kind taste. No road parking nearby.

This is my favourite Japanese bakery and I was surprised this year by an amazing matcha birthday cake which tasted phenomenal. They use a really high matcha grade here, and you can definitely taste the quality of it in the cake. I was also treated to a box of mini cakes (the sakura roll cake was absolutely amazing), and quite possibly the best croissant I have ever had 😂 Literally can't fault this place, just wish they would do a matcha mille crepe

Stopped here for some treats after lunch and wasn’t disappointed! All the dessert looked very good and fresh. I tried the chocolate one with pralines and it was delicious. Also got one of the matcha tiramisu, which was good too. Bit pricey but worth it. Definitely recommended if you are around Ealing looking for a treat

Incredible service and gorgeous array of pretty cakes, pastries and Japanese-inspired confections and drinks. Very high prices though which was a little disappointing.

I got a matcha latte and a chicken teriyaki sandwich, the matcha was ok and the chicken sandwich was really good but very overpriced. It was very flavourful, and the portion size was good too, definitely one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had, but a sandwich for £10? I wouldn’t get it again even if it tastes like heaven. We also got the earl grey apple cake, unexpectedly good, not too sweet and not too plain. Overall everything was good but it’s just very pricey.

Absolutely delicious cake (matcha tiramisu) and coffee. Service was also very good. I'll definitely be back :-)

This café has been on my bucket list so was pleased I finally got to try it out. I was spoilt for choice but I went for the chocolate and banana cake with a Matcha latte. I would definitely go again to try the other options. Unfortunately, they don't offer vegan patisseries, as most of them have egg, dairy or gelatine.

A delightful cafe with authentic Japanese pastries, beverages, and savoury treats. During my visit I was surprised by the number of people who came to pick something up. From large orders of cakes to single orders of hot drinks, WA Cafe is a very popular and reliable spot for treats. There is limited seating due to the size of the cafe, but if you do get the opportunity to sit down it’s a very calm and welcoming environment.

I enjoyed eating here. The quality of the cakes is excellent and delicious. They are very lightweight and tasty, not overly sweet or rich. I had the strawberry cake with Kurogoma(Sesame) Latte. The latte was not sweet at all which was nice because it balanced out the dessert. The total was a bit pricy and came up to £12. Customer service is fast and staff are very hospitable and polite. I would definitely keep coming here in the future.

Delicate, delicious, and skilful Japanese patisserie as well as very good coffee. I can't speak to the quality of the savoury goods, but if they're anything like the cakes they're excellent. I favour the white sesame cheesecake, which is subtly flavoured. Everything is beautifully presented. Just a few tables inside, but it's a favourite place of mine to work as a small treat for myself.

A little gem in Ealing Broadway. The cakes and the savoury selection is not just appealing to the eye but it is also delicious. The first bite of any cake just makes you smile, and say おいしい !

Great food and cakes! A little bit expensive but well worth the price! Fairly quiet too! We were served in less than 3 minutes! Although there are only 6 tabes.. so I couldn't imagine coming here when it is busy..

I loved the gluten free matcha cake roll, great coffee. Pastries are awesome, but a little expensive. It worth it anyway!

I'm ordering what I used to order since I have been buying cakes here years ago, I used to buy a lot of cakes WA. I found out the cake isn't the same quality. The matcha chocolate is very flakey much thinner chocolate than before it has no crunch to it and the taste of cream is not as rich and milky as before. The base has no crunch to it as well. The cake is very lack of character than it used to be. It used to be fantastic! I can not taste strong matcha with the rich cream and less matcha powder. You are not going to remember it or feel impressed of the matcha if you eat this cake. The strawberry cake has very little strawberry in it. It's not the same when I have them now compare to the past. I also ordered some different latte which were okay. Cakes are not the same, shame.

Wonderful cafe and I truly believe to be the jewel in Ealing Broadway. Stepping into this cafe makes me feel I have gone back to a cafe in Tokyo right down to the manual automated doors. The cakes a small slices of heaven with my go to choices either being the strawberry short cake if I want something refreshing or the chocolate praline if I want something heavy. Be warned that there is an extra cost if you choose to eat inside though it is always packed on prime times so good luck getting a seat. Which is the only reason I have to knock 1 star off this review.

One of my favourite places to go for Japanese pastries. It's on the pricier side, however the cakes are fantastic! They have various sakura blossom cakes (seasonal) and they are fantastic. I tried the cheesecake, sakura Panna cotta and matcha cake. They are all meticulously made and delicious! I'm not too crazy about the sakura latte and I've had a better black sesame latte. Anyhow, this place is definitely recommended to try when you're around.
