Good and unpretentious food. Meat balls were really nice. Great place to go with friends and order loads of different dishes and just share the food, that's what tapas is all about. The staff are very friendly and most likely the owner will come and check how is everything.

My first time here but i will be returning. Monkfish with Serrano ham, prawns and mouthwatering cream sauce to die for!!! Every couse has been a taste sensation!!!! The staff are so friendly. Josès is amazing, cooking delightful meals and coming out and talking to customers, making customers feel like family. Love this place!!!

I would never of known about this little gem of a restaurant had it not been recommended to me. Visited for the first time this evening and we shall visit again and again.....food was divine and lovely staff lovely, especially Sofia and Jose what a welcome!!! Wonderful restaurant, first class service from friendly and welcoming staff and delicious tapas. Mixed fish dish was a highlight, good selection of fresh, perfectly cooked and seasoned seafood.

10/10 for food, atmosphere and experience! All the staff were lovely, the food was delicious, high quality produce, massive portions and excellent flavours! Not a single complaint 10/10

It is a real shame to read a recent review of Jose’s with the gentleman in question giving them such a low score. Jose and his team put their heart and soul into everything they do and the food they produce is delicious. The have been operating a ‘booking only’ system for a while now as they are a small business. I can totally recommend them and love the attention to detail along with great customer service that comes along with the fab food. Thank you and keep doing what you do best 💓

Amazing experience highly recommend, food was absolutely delicious served quickly to a very very high standard staff were all welcoming and friendly and attentive to our needs if our drinks were low or they noticed we finished our course can’t recommend this venue enough definitely going to be a returning customer thank you Jose and staff for a brilliant meal( side note the omelette and meatballs are divine ❤️.)

Fantastic experience, family run business with great attentive staff. Food is excellent and some of the best tapas outside of Spain. Good selection of core menu and a specials which change. Food comes out at a nice pace and is relaxed. Restaurant isn’t huge so a nice cosy feel.

Excellent dining experience for a group of 9. Wish we could have tried more of the different tapas offered. All were superb. Family lived in Spain for 20+ years and this was as good and authentic as anything eaten there. Will be back!!

Absolutely fabulous, the food was amazing and the service was lovely. Two of our group of 6 are Coeliac's and nothing was any trouble. The chef came out to our table to see if we had enjoyed our meal, which we had. Can't wait to go back.

I’ve had tapas in Madrid and Barcelona and can confidently say the best tapas restaurant is in Wakefield!! We had a delicious meal tonight and will be back. I recommend the albondigas and spicy gambas. Jose also came out and kindly explained the menu and portion sizes which put us at ease. The servers were attentive and polite too!

Absolutely incredible. Surpassed all our expectations and they were pretty high in the first place having been told how amazing it is here. The atmosphere, the food, the staff, the price - all amazing - nothing can be grumbled at. We came here for my birthday last night and we will definitely be returning.

Lovely little place in Central Wakefield(definitely book). Very busy, the friendly staff handled this very well, we were looked after brilliantly. The food was fantastic, good portions,great value. Large selection of wines if you are a wine drinker,or one Spanish beer on tap if you like to drink that,but it was to my preference.

Beautiful tapas bar. Jose plays a mix role as waiter and chef. It cost us up to almost £100 for 3x people with 1 paint and 2x soft drinks, but worth the money paid

Great food and reasonable prices. The food was awesome. All the food was brought out good and hot and looked, smelled and tasted wonderful. The portion sizes were great and the lady who took our order helped make sure we didn't over order! I can highly recommend the croquettes, I enjoyed them so much I had the waitress make sure I had found the right recipe on the net before we left! The one single issue we had is that the meat was nearly all on the bone, was not expecting that at all! Not the end of the world but would be worth noting for the menu? We *WILL* be coming back here in the future!

4 dishes is more than enough,and each is as delicious as the last. Can't recommend highly enough. The peppers pardon is more a sharer for 4 but otherwise everything was spot on portion size.

Really friendly Spanish Tapas bar, family owned and run. On arrival Jose introduced himself and explained how the menu worked and style of cooking, which was very welcome,relaxed and friendly. The food was traditional spanish tapas, there were 5 in our party, we ordered 10 tapas including patatas bravas, garlic mushrooms,rice, belly pork,garlic chicken,, very tasty and enough for all of us. 2 of us had sweets, would highly recommend the almond tart or chocolate fudge cake. The sangria went down well too.
