    BEWARE. If you buy a product from Argos and touch it they will not let you return it. I bought a tv and tried to return it 5 days later with all original packing, having not turned it on, as not as described on website. They said finger marks on the screen (which still had the protective screen film on) meant it was not in a sellable condition. The manger had to put finger marks to get it out of the box to inspect it!

    Rude staff, Disgusting customer service from Justin & Team. He absolutely doesn’t want to work there and he couldn’t care less of customers. He has been rude and patronising during my collection, I can’t believe Argos is represented by this low-mannered Individuals.

    Very rude staff, they didn't know customer service and how work with refunds. Not rekomended if you won't buy something try different stores.

    Impossible to return item that I have paid an insurance for. Got accepted by another Argos. No care at all about the customer, the goal is to do the least possible and avoid all forms of work Please no manager like this should have a place at an Argos or any business

    As everyone, the customer service is absolutely rude without help. I bought something uncompatible with my computer and the service doesn't want to refund me. I bought lot of electronics but i will never do it again. Currys is much better......

    Go there if you'd like to learn 'What not to do in customer service 101'. I wanted to return and unopen and unused product and went there on 21/3 around 5:20 PM. The guy straightaway said it can't be returned as it's not in resealable condition. I ha donly opened the delivery box and nothing else. He could not explain the meaning of resealable. Just put his foot down and said I won't do it. Against the return policy of Argos and against common sense rules. Extremely disappointed. Another store immediately accepted the return. They need some training!

    Extremely rude and unhelpful. Lots of attitude and made no effort to try and sort out the problem. Other Argos branches are much more helpful and full of smiles to customers. Here they look miserable.

    the stafs are so rud i went there for exchange a defect item unopened item one day after the date of purchase the guy who's on the till call her name is sara and she tell me they are only selling and have no time to exchange or return don't go there customer service rip on argos cheapside

    This Argos store refused to provide a refund for an unused mobile phone I ordered from the same store. Manager called and still refused on basis the phone was unsealed. Went to Argos staples corner who refunded with no questions asked. Poor customer service.

    Easy to get to that's about it. Rude and incompetent staff who give your items to other people. Fast track never ready even when ordering hours before collection. Waited 15 min for my pan set, when I complained they went to find it and took another 10 minutes to track it down and they realised it had been given to another customer who had just paid 1 minute earlier whose other items had not arrived yet. USELESS.

    Returned a product here 2 months ago, was told warranty would refresh. Item was defective after 2 months of replacement so just tried to return. Staff are clueless completely unhelpful. The manager told me my only option is to send them off which takes 2 weeks? Even though I had them replaced on the spot 2 months earlier in the same store! Said to me the reason for this is because there staff are not trained properly. Even said to me if she wasn't there I would've had them replaced that day, what a joke! Wont buy from here again for sure. If my item is defective you have an obligation as a company to fulfill the warranty I shouldn't have to send them off and be without a product for 2 weeks!

    Terrible customer service. I've never left a negative review before for Argos. This is the first time. And I blame the member of staff at this branch who was dealing with my issue. I came to store to return a faulty item within 30 days. In fact, it had been only 4 days. Yet, Jamil, who told me he was the manager, said that Argos are just a retailer and that I would have to contact the manufacturer directly. I explained that this was false information yet he stubbornly still refused to issue a refund. I spoke with customer service and they told me what he was saying was not correct, and that I should be issued a refund at the store. On the Argos website it says the same. I explained this to Jamil and Kamil (both claiming to be managers), but they still refused to issue a refund. I then spoke to Samsung and got a reference number. I came back to the store and they still refused to issue a refund, saying that they were unable to verify the reference number. I got them to phone Samsung in front of me and they spoke to them but they still refused to issue a refund, because Samsung didn't provide me with a diagnosis!! And the reference number was insufficient. Never shopping from this branch ever again! I don't know who made the decision to hire these guys. Utter shambles. Just wanted to post an update. This branch has categorically denied my right to a refund. They have told me that if I want a refund I would have to go back to the store where I originally purchased the item! This is extremely inconvenient for me. And according to Argos, I can get a refund at any branch, but they have categorically refused.

    Terrible service and rude staff. I went in there and asked for help with my order as my phone had died both the manager (indian guy) and the sale person were rude and unhelpful. Had to go to Halland Barrett to get help. I dont usually leave bad reviews but this one warrants one as there was no attempt by them to help.

    I received the most appalling service this afternoon at Argos Cheapside. Clearly, the two young men who served me, are untrained and do not have a clue of what the Argos returns policy is. The staff members refused to refund a bracelet that was a gift but was too big, unworn and in the original packaging. Apparently, the manager ‘Josh’ who was downstairs in the basement at the time, stated that ‘all jewellery are excluded from being refunded due to hygiene. Understandable if the item being returned was a pair of earrings. I explained to the members of staff that this item ( bracelet) was not excluded from 30 day returns policy and that this is clearly stated on the Argos website at the bottom in small print. The staff members then explained to me that the store doesn’t offer the same returns policy as the online website……confused!!! Upon exiting the store, I contacted customer service to log a complaint and was told that the item i tried to return is refundable and that Cheapside should not have told me that all jewellery is excluded from refunds, as this is not the case.

    Please include in emails that ID will be needed to pick up certain products! (I understand this isn't about the store but argos in general) I haven't gotten ID'd in over a year and suddenly at 29, I don't look 25, when picking up block of knives.. I'd take it as a compliment if I didn't really need them.. Planned out my day seamlessly as I have a lot to do, and this really messed with it.

    Rude staff, totally unhelpful. Next time I will go the the Argos in Chancery lane instead or just buy what I need elsewhere.There were 2 people behind the counter one was scrolling on his phone and the other just stated at me.

    no signs to indicate the pay till and order till. Just a small space with a long queue and two shop assistants who were incompetent clueless. Went there to purchase headphones....Didn't in the end because I was in the wrong queue

    They denied a refund for a pair of rings that were the wrong size. The online chat rep was rude and unhelpful and could not prove to me where it said these items were not refundable. Shocking customer service and outright fraudulent. I won’t be shopping here again

    The only thing in common with other Argos shops is the name. The manager doesn’t follow the Argos policies and think he can follow his own policies. Staff needs some training. Even the online Argos customer service didn’t agree with what he was saying.

    Let users see what's available in the current store on your fancy digital kiosks. Had to go into 10 different products to see what was available to me in that store took 10 times longer than it needed too. The store staff we're great
