Nothing but deliciousness and fantastic selection of wine. We’ve been looking for a nicer spot for South American food as well as a full-selection of South American wine. El Viñedo Local did not disappoint. As with most places in Midtown, parking was a bit to find but we found street parking not too far away. Fantastic food, fantastic drinks, we’ll be glad to come back soon!

This place has great food and one of the coolest vibes/ambiance. Very open with floor to ceiling windows give it in indoor outdoor feeling. It’s attached to larger building and the steps to the swings are like live art. The wine menu is extensive, goes with the name I guess. Every bite we had was on point. The arepa was flavorful, stuff, and good perfectly. The ceviche was perfectly executed. The fried fish sandwich was good but I think a bigger cut of fish because the bread (which was great) smothered it. But still flavorful. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back for their dinner and try other bites they offer.

I've enjoyed coming here for coffee and a breakfast bite. The ambiance is really nice in the morning and it's a nice place to catch up with a friend or do a little work. I think their breakfast foods are delicious, but find the portions to be a little small. The ham, egg, and cheese empanada should really come with 2 for the price in my opinion, but that won't stop me from returning.

This is the most nice coffee shop around Atlanta !! The Choripan we order was tremendously delicious! Coffee was the same as great! Come here. 100% recommend this place

I hosted a Giving Tuesday fundraising event at El Viñedo on November 28, 2023 and everything was phenomenal! The owner Robert worked with us leading up to the event to secure the space and put in place an amazing food and beverage menu. Robert was great with communicating and easily accessible. On the evening of the event, Jose, Jean Pierre, and Eve were excellent in providing service that went above and beyond. The ambience and Christmas decor also made for a lovely event! Thank you! We look forward to partnering with El Viñedo Local very soon.

This was our first time visiting, and our expectations were exceeded. The wine I was recommended, el Zollo, was sparkling, sweet and refreshing. The food was delicious, including the guava pastelito we had for dessert with an amazing cafe con leche (and we are coffee snobs!). The restaurant didn’t have a lot of seating, but the atmosphere was wonderful and we didn’t mind having counter seating at the large table. Service was quick and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We will be back!

Stumbled across this place and honestly wish I knew about it earlier! First, the vibe is on point! Great patio design to make the most of pleasant Atlanta evenings, with sufficient lighting and ambiance to keep it lively. The styling is a nice blend between industrial (metal, brick, etc) and modern (wood tones, minimalist design touches) making a very warm and fun vibe. Perfect to go along with the South American food that pays homage to country-specific dishes that are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. Sampled some Empanadas, Arepas, Ceviche, Yucca Fries, and a Caipirinha. All were executed very well with the right balance of flavors, portion size, and texture. The chef and kitchen staff must go through extra training because these were so good! Looking forward to coming back as soon as I can.

Went here before we to a show at Fox Theatre. We dined outside because it was cute. They had great Snapchat opportunities. The food was amazing and so was the service. Very fast and efficient and to top it off tasty. I would definitely recommend.

Absolutely phenomenal! The restaurant is honestly a bit smaller than we expected, walking past it nearly every day I always assumed the entire first floor was this restaurant but it isn’t. It’s only on the left when you enter and you get asked if you have a reservation and if they’re expecting large parties then good luck! So try to reserve online! The server was really helpful and explained everything really well! The chef is Uruguayan and it shows, the food is super duper authentic. They have empanadas, arepas, and other real South American food that isn’t limited to just Mexican :) I had the veggie arepa and because I forgot my ID and couldn’t get Argentine wine, settled for Inca Cola. Which - if you have not had that or fernet I would definitely recommend! I found the prices fair too for the smaller portions, some of the main dishes might be slightly expensive but it’s worth it overall I hope to be here again soon to try the rest of the menu 🥰

We went for lunch, and the food was EXCEPTIONAL, and the service was outstanding. The cocktails were divine. I've been trying to stay disciplined and not return too soon! It is so good. 10/10. I look forward to returning for dinner service.

It was a weird breakfast experience. Server refused to seat us on the table we wanted, maybe he hoped that bigger company will come. The food was tasteless. Coffee and pastries are okay. I was surprised why in the place like that so high rating in Google Maps, and I’m pretty sure that these reviews were bought

The empanadas and arepas were delicious! The pastry was light, and the fillings were beautifully spiced. The excellent wine selection included some delightful reds from Argentina. For dessert, the delectable Compota de Manzana was an apple poached in wine and served over whipped cream and covered in a wonderful dark cherry sauce. The fantastic staff was friendly, prompt and professional. The peaceful ambiance on the patio was very conducive to a relaxing meal and good conversation.

If I go back it’ll be for the shrimp ceviche. I Absolutely perfect, flavorful and delicious. Was a bit underwhelmed with the mussels, arepa and empanadas. The waiters were sweet, but one gave too many personal preferences and tried talking my friend and I out of food and drinks to order which seemed odd!

I loved everything about this restaurant! The service, the food, the wine, coffee, and especially the ambiance! I hosted my book club meeting here and they sat us at the communal table! It was a long table conducive to large gatherings. Our server did his best to get everyone’s orders taken expeditiously and did so graciously! I do think he needed a little help but he got it done! Kudos to him! I ordered the Victoriana Ceviche!!! Hmmm mmm! I loved it! So much so, that I wanted MORE of it!! My gf ordered the Chicken Pabellon and said it was delicious as well! They have a very expansive wine menu. I really enjoyed the La Flora Sauvignon Blanc and can’t wait to go back for a wine tasting. The owner was extremely friendly and talked about living in the neighborhood!! He educated me on some of their wine selections which added to my excitement! Be mindful that you will have to pay for parking as it is very close to the Fox, but there is hourly parking in the building! All in all, it was an amazing experience and I will definitely be back!!

Reviews were VERY high so we decided to come by before a show at Fox Theatre on Thursday night. Place is pretty small but they also have tables right outside of it. Servers were very nice but clearly overwhelmed. Plates crashed down a few times and we saw food delivered to the wrong table twice. Normally it should be tossed out when that happens but it was then delivered to the correct table. Very risky, I wouldn't accept it in that case. Everything took a lot of time. Waters didn't arrive until 20min+, main dishes took about 30min, a coffee afterwards somehow took another 30min and we had to ask for the check twice, took roughly another 30min to get it. BUT like I said, all the servers were very overwhelmed but kind and apologetic. The food was delicious, the skewered fillet mignon was perfectly cooked and tasted incredible. We had a breaded chicken dish with ham and cheese on top, it's similar to a cordon blue but with a tomato sauce and it was a very large portion. Their salad was a bit dull with a decent dressing. The yuka fries were great with a mayo and ketchup sauce. We also had a beef empanada that was small but tasted great. Good drinks as well. Overall, it seems their breakfast and lunch are where it's at so I'll update this review later on 👍

Kinda loud, but a nice place. Food is outstanding. Had empanada criolla and lomo saltado. Would do it again. Tried a pisco sour for the first time. Very good! Wide variety of coffee, tea and wines.

From the bottom of our hearts ( dad, husband, I) We fell in love with this place!!!! What a such amazing flavors in the meals. Meal I requested was a 'Ceviche de camaron with chifles' Not extravagant , Quality presentation, very well-done. simple but a flavor's bomb !!! Husband and Dad, they requested a CHORIPAN, they were in shock, because was a not greasy choripan ( which most of the choripan are) but the freshness screams at first sight hahaha CHEF, congratulations! good staff, good food, good customer service! so, guys don't hesitate to visit this place :) Congratulations for waitress Lorenzo, as well.

My husband had already been to El Viñedo for work, and he promised me that we would go for lunch one of these days. He knew I would love the food and the restaurant. Today we went for lunch, the food and drinks were super delicious. Robert, one of the owners, treated us very kindly. Our waitress Leslie treated us like family and her service was excellent. 10/10

My partners and I were blown away by this small gem in the heart of midtown. The arepas and empanadas stole the show and were the most delicious bites I had during my weeklong stay in Atlanta. However, very honorable mentions for their sandwiches and drinks, which my partners devoured! The service was also top-notch. Big love and props to the staff and owner who were on their game that day. We will absolutely be back next trip into town.

Excellent service by the gent waiting on us. Stopped in for a quick snack prior to starting our day. Ordered two arepas and one pastelito. The sauce for the arepas was addictive. Satisfied by both presentation and tastefulness. Reminded me of home. Will be back when in A-Town.

I don’t know clearly if it’s a Venezuelan restaurant, but what I do know is that they have a lot of us. Although it is an innovative proposal, the most important thing was there. Our essence. Cafe con leche is highly recommended!

Food is exquisite. Patio is lovely and the environment is perfect for socializing. One in our group tried all of the empanada selections... all looked amazing. (It's hard to do a chicken empanada that isn't dry... goal: achieved.) The ceviche was also amazing. Perfect flavor. Robert explained the concept of the locale for us. We absolutely expect to return.

To put simply: Service, coffee, and food were fantastic. We went for breakfast…The food was phenomenal, light, and full of flavor. I ordered a cortado to pair with my food and it was great. I am especially particular about cortados, so for me, to say it was good is a big deal. Everyone in my party was pleased with their order. Plus: the “interactive check” was a neat feature that made splitting the check easy! Definitely recommend!

The breakfast blew my mind! It’s is perfectly cooked and delicious. Beautifully served with classy dishes and in a chic environment with very friendly staff. This destroys any American style breakfast joint. Try it! The price is right too.

Went for its breakfast, and am I glad that we skipped the hotel one? Best Coffee I had for a few years, remind me of a small Italian diner when wandering around outside of the touristy area in Florence Italy! Decent empanada, rich but not too heavy.

Loved this place! You must try the Victoriano ceviche, super delicious plus I was surprised it had a lot of fish, usually some restaurants fill up the plate with veggies but this one was the perfect dish 😍The place is beautiful and I was delighted with the customer service🙌✨

This place is just delicious! It has a selection of South American favorite dishes and good wine & beer. The place has a cool vibe and it’s not too loud. I highly recommend it. Buen provecho!

El Viñedo Local aka "the local vineyard" is serving up South American tapas like empanadas, sandwhiches and skewers in Midtown. They have some of the best and boldest coffee I have had in a while and an extensive wine list. Perfect place to share tapas with friends and a bottle of wine. I enjoyed the yucca fries and the espresso! The swings overlooking the city skyline was very impressive and makes for a unique photo op. I tried: Pinchos Skewer Carne Medium rare beef filet, bell pepper, red onion, mushroom, cream potatoes, chimichurri Ceviche Ceviche de Camaron con Chifles Poached Argentinian shrimp, cebolla criolla, plantain chips, avocado puree, cilantro, meyer lemon oil. Postres Compota de Manzana Braised apple, chantilly cream, red wine & spice sauce Espresso Double shot Café Campesino 100% organic and fair trade espresso Arepa Pabellon Sweet plantain, black beans, fresco cheese (Chicken) Acompanamientos Platanos Maduros Fried sweet plantains Yucca Frita Fried yucca with salsa rozada Follow @ServingLooksATL if you are hungry for more!

A great addition to midtown. The atmosphere is relaxed and fast. The service is friendly and the food is fresh and tasty without relying on heavy spices. If you are looking for a comfortable date or a place to catch up with friends there are few places that will be as comfortable in Atlanta.

😠 DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Terrible service! The server cannot remember what you ordered…it cannot be that hard to write it down. Friends waited for (Hennessy) drinks…at the same table for an hour and 15min. It took the bartender 3 tries….It took over an hour to get food even with a reservation. YOU CAN...
