Honestly,
this
place
is
a
sustainable
hotel
for
short
term
(my
opinion).
we
had
a
beach
front
balcony.
It's
very
affordable
compared
to
many
of
the
other
beach
front
hotels
in
jacksonville.
The
Good-
gorgeous
ocean
views,
it's
quiet.
They
have
outdoor
seating
with
a
gas
grill
for
patrons
to
use.
The
TV
in
the
rooms
is
equipped
with
netflix(as
long
as
you
have
your
own
login)
and
live
TV.
The
rooms
are
spacious
for
being
a
hotel
room.
The
CONS
-
As
far
as
I
saw,
there
was
no
direct
access
to
the
front
desk
without
first
calling.
I'm
assuming
a
corporate
line,
which
then
would
forward
your
call
to
the
front
desk.
The
phone
didn't
have
a
"front
desk"
option.
The
water
pressure
of
the
shower
was
no
stronger
than
your
outdoor
water
hose
on
half
power.
The
mattresses
are
really
firm,
and
the
comforters
provided
are
very
thin.
You
could
almost
classify
it
as
a
regular
bed
sheet.
The
parking
does
get
very
full
on
weekends
as
the
beach
access
is
public
obviously
since
it's
on
a
military
installation.
Their
selection
of
items
for
purchase
at
the
front
desk
is
minimal,
aka
orange
or
apple
juice,
water,
and
some
pre-packaged
food
pastries.
If
you
want
to
buy
something,
they'll
only
use
the
card
on
file.
If
you
try
to
pay
with
a
different
card,
it's
almost
like
they
can't
do
it
or
refuse
to...
again,
this
was
our
experience.
I
wouldn't
care
about
the
in
hotel
item
purchase
options
being
minimal
IF
the
gas
station/NEX
on
base
stayed
open
later
than
3-5
PM.
As
the
nearest
store
is
off
base
and
actually
takes
some
time
to
get
too.
Which
is
inconvenient
if
you're
there
at
the
hotel
to
relax.
The
TV
as
I
stated
before
has
options,
but
it's
quite
small.
Thus
us
an
exaggeration
but
the
elevator
take
s
5
years
to
close.
Even
after
pressing
the
close
door
button,
I
don't
believe
it
actually
works.
The
Air
conditioner
has
a
funky
smell,
I
think
they
need
to
replace
the
filter,
or
replace
the
whole
ac
unit
itself.
There
is
no
pool
that
is
attached
to
the
hotel.
There
is
a
base
pool
run
by
MWR
but
it's
only
open,
On/after
memorial
day
weekend
but
again,
it's
not
hotel
specific,
it's
for
all
military
and
their
families,
which
is
fine!
Hopefully
they
build
a
pool
into
the
new
addition
to
the
hotel
under
construction,
I
think?
