Please don't go there. I want the place available for ME! It is a jewel. I loved 😍 our visit there. The rooms were so clean, modern, comfortable, and the views over the beach... and there is the grill in the lawn out back. I could go on and on.... stop me. I love this place. Can you tell?!?!

One of the best Navy lodges we have stayed at. Most rooms have an ocean view. They allow pets for a fee. Can't beat the price for ocean front hotel at all. The base outdoor pool is right next to the lodge as well. There is also a few food options that are walkable but not always open on the weekends. Definitely will stay again.

My wife and I stayed here for a week and had an excellent time. The lodge, room, and grounds were in very good shape. The view of the ocean and St. John's River from our room and balcony were worth the trip alone. Very friendly and helpful staff. Thank you!

My husband and I had a great stay. Beautiful and clean beach and the room was perfect plus all the employees were very friendly too. They were doing some construction while we were there and the lobby was not open, but they had a room they turned into the front desk/lobby area. Everything was working perfectly well and the staff was always just so kind and helpful. We will definitely be going back.

Everyone from top down was WONDERFUL! Beautiful rooms wuth real plates. Clean beach. Great breakfast and better coffee than home. And best of all for me, who hates waste, we were able to eat without being forced to use tons of plastic waste!! Thanks sooooo much!!

We stayed here for a few days and I loved the beach view. Front desk was super helpful and told us about some fun activities we can do around the area. Rooms are clean, I would recommend.

Perfect location for a beach to avoid the public beaches in Jax. The hotel is walking distance from the beach and a pool with a slide is right next door. And they allow pets. The only downside was the free breakfast. There was nothing hot. No waffles, sausage, oatmeal, none of that. Because of that we went to Wendys off post each morning to eat. Next time we’ll bring some food.

Spent one night here in route to cape canaveral, it’s not a five star establishment if that’s what your looking for, but the facilities where very clean and well maintained, our room was a mere 3 minute walk to the beach, the continental breakfast was one of the best I’ve experienced at any navy lodge they had fresh fruit, cereal, juice, milk, bagels, muffins, waffles made to order, coffee, tea, danishes and it only cost us $70 a night can’t get any better than that.

Love this base! Very small and quaint. Lodging is like a hotel but they do have a cook top burner in the unit for cooking. Rooms were clean and very reasonably priced. Easy to find with GPS if you haven't been on post. Breakfast is basic yogurts, bagels and Waffle maker. The bigger PX located is off base. This is a great location if you are swinging by to sight see and take the ferry across the river. We will be back!

Fantastic place to stay, friendly staff, great rooms, beach right next to it, and for a great price. Very well kept up and comfortable all around. The breakfast isn't very robust but you still have options. One of the best hotels I've stayed in.

First time staying here. Will be coming again for sure. First off, you can't get a better deal than this for the price you're paying and be ocean view!! Checked in and room was very clean. Small kitchenette which is a plus. No oven but still not a deal breaker considering you can still cook on stove top and have OCEAN VIEW!

My experience staying on Mayport Naval Base Lodging was exceptional! Check-in and check out went so smoothly. My room was beautiful with a kitchenette that had an ocean view that I could wake up seeing the ocean in the morning and hear the ocean at night sitting on my balcony. There was a private beach too that was clean and that I felt safe on. Such an accommodating staff of friendly warm people. I worked with Tina at the front desk, who was great answering lots of questions before I booked my reservation, and she helped in answering all questions without hesitatation. Continental breakfast was perfect to start my day. I met so many wonderful people. I'm a happy visitor and will be back to visit again. This is a hidden gem! You'll probably get to meet Luna, the beach cat that you can visit with donation of food and water.

Honestly, this place is a sustainable hotel for short term (my opinion). we had a beach front balcony. It's very affordable compared to many of the other beach front hotels in jacksonville. The Good- gorgeous ocean views, it's quiet. They have outdoor seating with a gas grill for patrons to use. The TV in the rooms is equipped with netflix(as long as you have your own login) and live TV. The rooms are spacious for being a hotel room. The CONS - As far as I saw, there was no direct access to the front desk without first calling. I'm assuming a corporate line, which then would forward your call to the front desk. The phone didn't have a "front desk" option. The water pressure of the shower was no stronger than your outdoor water hose on half power. The mattresses are really firm, and the comforters provided are very thin. You could almost classify it as a regular bed sheet. The parking does get very full on weekends as the beach access is public obviously since it's on a military installation. Their selection of items for purchase at the front desk is minimal, aka orange or apple juice, water, and some pre-packaged food pastries. If you want to buy something, they'll only use the card on file. If you try to pay with a different card, it's almost like they can't do it or refuse to... again, this was our experience. I wouldn't care about the in hotel item purchase options being minimal IF the gas station/NEX on base stayed open later than 3-5 PM. As the nearest store is off base and actually takes some time to get too. Which is inconvenient if you're there at the hotel to relax. The TV as I stated before has options, but it's quite small. Thus us an exaggeration but the elevator take s 5 years to close. Even after pressing the close door button, I don't believe it actually works. The Air conditioner has a funky smell, I think they need to replace the filter, or replace the whole ac unit itself. There is no pool that is attached to the hotel. There is a base pool run by MWR but it's only open, On/after memorial day weekend but again, it's not hotel specific, it's for all military and their families, which is fine! Hopefully they build a pool into the new addition to the hotel under construction, I think?

Many family members gathered here for a wedding - we all had a wonderful stay! Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were spacious, clean, great little kitchen area, ocean views. The beach honestly right at your doorstep. Wedding was held right next door! Not only convenient, but also staffed by wonderful people. Food was very good - everything was lovely. Would happily stay here again, thank you!

It's only the BEST Navy Lodge worldwide. Get a room with a perfect view and you won't regret it. Rooms are clean. Service is great. Breakfast is plenty. I recommend it and make sure you get it before or after the holidays it's always better. Plenty of parking and there's a pool too.

I loved everything about the room and service, they fulfilled my room request! But the toilet paper is a lethal weapon... to rough.

Beautiful views very nice rooms, great price, but walls are paper thin and beds extremely uncomfortable. Beds feel like they came from a motel six.

Thi was awesome! She was very knowable and patient! Answered all my questions! Would stay there again! The place as clean and had everything I needed. I forgot my towel and they had one ready for me to pick up from the front desk as soon as I called!

I stayed with my family for a short 4 day vacation. Wonderful trip. The hotel was clean and the staff was super nice. It was very quiet and it felt like we had our own private beach. There was a small problem when they assigned us the wrong room but it was quickly solve and we had a spectacular ocean front view.
