You won't find more knowledgeable, caring and cool business owners. Frank and Jim know music inside out. Frank is a completist, perfectionist, expert on music and records. Jim is equally dedicated to coffee and pastry perfection. Try the chocolate chip cookies. They were just added in October 2023 and will be Best of KC soon!

They have the best bean blend/drip in town and the nicest espresso expert you could ask for. Record selection is diverse and top notch.

Place is nice with a good curated collection of vinyl. Some of the more expensive vinyl is slightly overpriced although not all of it. So it's definitely a hit or miss, however it's a nice collection worth checking out. The coffee itself was good, and fresh brewed. Definitely worth checking out for those interested in checking out some vinyl and hanging out with others.

Two cool dudes doin cool things. Any coffee shop that asks if you like your espresso drink dry or wet know what they're about, and any record store with a hardcore rarities section knows how to catch em like some fly trap thighs. Every city needs a Sister Anne's.

These guys have a great record collection; lots of quality represses, used, new and local records. They also sell other cool stuff like, zines, books, tapes and posters. Very cool vibe for a coffee shop. They pull my favorite espresso shot in Kansas City.

Just a great record store with QUALITY over quantity. Not any trash to dig through just decisions about how much I wanna spend. Would recommend if you’re into punk/alt rock/hc etc. but something for everyone.

Fantastic little shop. Killer selection with great quality records. The crowd in the shop were clearly locals and this was their “home base” for good reason. Great music and excellent coffee. With a front door like this you know you have to shop for records here.

Fantastic small record store and coffee shop combo. Well curated selection & an owner who doesn't allow beat up junk with big prices to hit the bins unlike some area stores. Also, home to some of the best espresso shots you'll find in Kansas City!

Jim pulls the best espresso on earth. All the other baristas are CLOSE runner ups. The baked goods by Nichole are gorgeous and delicious. Frank is the absolute dude to go to for records and between the staff they’re always playing a jam. Can’t rave enough.

Fantastic selection in this shop. My wife and kids took me there for an early Father's Day situation and I have to say, it was no problem finding a few things I've not come across in my vinyl hunts previously. Great guys behind the counter and excellent selection...not to mention some killer drinks served. Keep it up!

Tiny well stocked of all price range of lps. Tiny spot but they make it feel large. The coffee side is worth the stop. Kinda a out of the way hidden gem. Stop you will not be disappointed.

An integral part of the neighborhood for over 5 years now. I don’t buy coffee anywhere else, to be honest! Friendly, rad staff/ownership, great vinyl selection, please support!

My lattes are made to perfection each and everytime 👌🏽👌🏽 No up charge on alternative milks. All organic milks that are steamed just right. Coffee lovers heaven.

I enjoyed this record/coffee shop. The coffee was excellent. The records were a good mix of used and new. Most importantly the folks there were friendly and helpful. I will be making some return visits.

Flavorful bean juice sold here. If you're lucky the long haired wizard fellow will recount tales of an adventurous youth. A modern day Mark Twain.

The best espresso in KC. They also sell the beans to take home. The vinyl is either new or in very good/excellent condition. This place shares the name of my favorite MC5 tune. I drive 30 mins to spend time in this temple of goodness.… does my heart good.

The coffee and energy in this place are excellent. I got a cinnamon latte, and a friend got a chia drink from Sister Anne’s, and they were delicious! Their record collection is pretty cool, and the workers are hella chill. Def recommend anyone who enjoys coffee and music to come to this place. 💯 Oh… and the tables by the large windows give you a nice view while reading 📖

👍👍 Good place to eat! Wonderful of you want a variety of food and desserts to compliment your meal! Always clean, great service, excellent food! The roast wasn't very lean and had to be picked apart for the first time ever. The fried chicken is a safe direction, along with the Club sandwich and salad...
