Update12.2.22 I had my first Reuben here today and had high expectations from previous reports of their Rueben. I finished about a third and was not impressed. I then opened up the sandwich and saw the problem immediately. They only scraped (not smeared) their thousand island dressing on about 1/4 of the sandwich. I immediately showed the waitress and she brought me extra dressing. After applying the dressing, it turned into a good sandwich but not top 10. They homemake the dressing and it has a somewhat different flavor than regular thousand island which I consider a mistake. Definitely not as great as thousand island or Russian dressing which is used in a lot of places, but it was good. BTW I got 2 small orders of their pimento cheese which will blow you away. Smoked Gouda PC and Jalapeño PC. They are fantastic!!! They have about 4 or so homemade varieties that proclaim them to be the pimento cheese capital!!! Original Review My Bride and I had a good lunch today. The deli was loaded with a lot of good food alond with a fish sandwich. Soooo, we had the haddock fish sandwich and some of their famous pimento cheese.

First time eating here after looking up deli's around University of South Carolina. Seen great reviews and decided to give it a try. Good choice coming here. Two cooler displays with beautiful pies and cakes in one and assortment of pasta, potato salads. And other side dishes. I chose the Italian hoagie and wife chicken saltimbaca sandwich. Both were great choices because we agreed these were very good sandwiches. For dessert we split a apple pie. WOW.... One of the best pies I've had in a while. Try this bistro, you won't be disappointed.

Owner/Manager ,staff and waiter were very cordial and patience with our party of 12 on a busy 🌧️ Memorial Weekend (SAT.). The food was delicious along with our appetizers of all types of Pimento Cheese.

Sandwiches are out of this world GOOD! Sometimes bread/rolls put in the paninni press get a little hard and hurt your mouth... but these sandwiches were still warm and soft and PERFECT! Potato salad is exceptional! Our server recommended the lemon berry cake, which WE LOVED!

Lovely place with fast polite service. The BLT on sourdough bread was absolutely delicious. My friend recommended the pimento gouda with bacon. It was fantastic served with warm pita. Will definitely return want to try their Ruben and the tiramasu.

The best cafe I've ever been to. My family and I are not from the area and chose this place based on the great reviews. The food was absolutely delicious, specifically the pancakes which were so fluffy and warm. I was also shocked at the portion size given such an affordable price. The staff was also very kind and happy to serve us. Absolutely recommend!

This place is what I would call a ‘hidden gem’. Why? Because it sits just off campus, minding its business on a corner…if you’re not paying attention you might drive right by and that would be a shame. Service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious!! The whole time we were there, they had a steady flow of business. I can’t wait to come back!!

Nice cafe with a good vibe. The pita bread alone was awesome, and so was the pimento. The Charleston Benedict was good combined with the grits. Also tried the Huevos Rancheros, which weren't bad but could've used some more flavor in the bean patties. Our toddler loved the French toast! Overall, good place and would go again and try some other things

Family and I went here Sunday morning almost right at opening! We got a seated immediately and had the best service and food! Everything was delicious! And the banana pecan pancakes warmed up nicely to make for breakfast the next day!

Some of the best pimento cheese I've ever tasted and one of the better pastrami sandwiches I've had outside of the state of New York. The pimento cheese is complimented by their amazing pita. They also have amazing sweet tea! Be sure to stop here for lunch while in Columbia!

Absolutely delicious. The wait staff was awesome. Being my first time there the waitress brought our pimento cheese order with pita bread and 3 other pimento cheese to try. Had the DiPrato's combo and the Breakfast Panini. Will be back . Have other sandwiches I want to try.

We went to DiPrato's on my daughter's recommendation. She raved about the place based on her previous visits while attending University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!) Our food was freshly prepared and the service was excellent! They have an extensive deli sandwich menu and I selected a pastrami sandwich on rye (New York style) with fries. The sandwich was tasty and the fries were the perfect temperature when they were delivered to the table. But you will appreciate this recommendation the most...Get an order of pita chips and pimento cheese. You will probably want to place a takeout order for some to take home as well! Enjoy!

This place once a terrific place has really fallen from grace. The food quality is not the same. The meals don't have the same appearance and are now slopped on the plate. The portions have gotten much smaller while the price has increased. It is really a shame since Diane has sold the business is has decreased in everything and continues to disapoint. We have been there for the very last time

Very busy for lunch but no problem getting a table. Our waitress was excellent and very efficient and friendly. The sandwiches were excellent and sides were too! Good for all ages.

Really cute bakery feels for a basic brunch. I had an omelet with turkey sausage and potato casserole. The casserole was the best part. I felt the omelet had way more egg than the toppings. My boyfriend had the Charleston Benedict (Crab Cake) and he really enjoyed it. Our server was the best. I think her name way started with a T but she was African American with neck length black hair.

Recently made a catering order for a smallish family gathering because I didn't want to cook for 10 people. The catering manager was easy to work with and answered all my questions (I did make an attempt to fill out the information online, but decided this was easier to work out over a phone call). The food was ready on time and packaged neatly so it was easy to transport. My Upstate NY Italian-American family raved about the chicken riggies and a great time was had by all!

Coleslaw, potato salad, tropical fruit salad, and pimento cheese dip all wonderful ! You can't find salads that good anywhere else in the area. (I've checked around). I spoke with the manager about a week in advance and she helped me decide how much I would need of each dish to serve to a group of about 20. Food was packaged and ready to go when I arrived for pickup. Everyone loved it. Thank you DiPrato's !

Great brunch spot! Waited among a crowd of folks for opening and was met with attentive, pleasant and diverse staff that seated and served our 3-top quickly. My meal was hot, clearly fresh and was among a great list of other specialties. A must-go for anyone (with company) in the Columbia area.

Great local restaurant within walking distance in five points area! Highly recommend weekend brunch. Ordered the western omelette with potato casserole (have to get), sourdough toast and Canadian bacon. Crowded but ample seating including outside area. Friendly staff and will be returning especially since this place is within walking distance. And yeah, get the apple pie! Omelettes were huge!

This is a sandwich shop with lots of delicious choices. Our waitress was awesome and the atmosphere was welcoming. I would come back to eat. They had the option to create some sandwiches vegan so it's a good spot for everyone.

My God this place is so amazing. One of the best restaurants in Columbia, hands down! Their Paminto Cheese dip with Pita chips are so delicious and a great treat to take home with you for snacking. Their Brunch is amazing! I can't recommend this place enough. Seriously worth your time to check out. You won't be disappointed.
