This place thinks it is something it most certainly is not. It's trying to be high class but it's laughable. Their imposed door policy is one of a big high brow establishment, it's just no different from any typical Arcadian bar. We booked and paid in advance for a so called VIP booth then they refused to let 2 of my staff in on the work event as one of them was deemed to be dressed "too loud" in white jeans and a t-shirt...loud. what a joke. The other wearing £1k footwear that was also deemed unacceptable. If you're attempting to be so flash, you'd think you would let the people with real money in and not all the girls in £5 New Look dresses and guys with boring style! As a company, you should not even be profiling a group who have already paid for a table. Ridiculous. Eventually received a refund but avoid if you want a non wanna be pretentious night out. You're not that special Olivia' s.

Bit pretentious and security are very bias with who they let in. Not sure what kind of policy they are running but if you’re not hot and big breasted, you’re probably getting turned away, regardless of how busy it is. And as for guys... I was wearing smart shoes and a shirt and was refused entrance because of ‘my look’. Something we were able to sort after speaking with the actual bar staff/management but the door staff will make the policies up as they go along.

It's a very new venue still finding it's feet and grasping it's genre of clientele. Live music early evening is great and the cocktails 2 for £10.00 Is great. I'd suggest anyone to give it a try it's new the staff are friendly it just needs to build a good reputation. Give it a go!

My friends and I were turned away from Olivia's Townhouse due to wearing 'inappropriate footwear'. In one case this referred to flat dolly shoes, and in another case this meant expensive trainers, however we saw some men being let in while wearing almost identical pairs of trainers. I queried with the bouncers, who were quite friendly, why it was one rule for men and another for women and they directed me towards the manager who they assured me set the dress code. I approached the manager to explain that I thought this policy was very discriminatory - why is it acceptable for men to wear trainers but for women it is unacceptable? Why do women have to wear heels in order to look smart? As well as being a sexist policy, it also ignores possible health conditions - one of the girls has a medical condition concerning her ankles which means that she physically cannot wear high-heeled shoes under any circumstances. Furthermore, the negative health effects of high heels are well documented and it is ridiculous for any establishment to stipulate that they must be worn. The manager was both condescending and rude and offered no further explanation for the policy, which shows that there is no real reason behind it. I am appalled at his very unprofessional reaction. We will certainly not be returning to an establishment that promotes sexual discrimination by enforcing unfair dress codes in this manner.

Staff were amazing and the music was insane. Downstairs did flood but the manager moved everyone upstairs and it didn't affect the night we had. Very professional of the manager and on a whole a great night was had! Drinks were amazing also, didn't have to wait long to get served.

Rude staff on door, no clear dress code. Bouncers picking and choosing who they wanted to let in and who not. Not allowed in because of 'trainers' but then watched multiple groups enter with trainers just because either they were designer or with a large group of group girls wearing excessively high heels

Firstly my male friend was sent away for wearing a designer as it was seen as too casual, but they let the next person in with a T-shirt and trainers on! The promoters outside were lovely, really friendly and kept us under the umbrella in the rain. We had a booth booked, once we were shown to the booth the hostess disappeared and didn’t come back. We had to ask for someone to bring over our alcohol, which was part of the deal for the booth 3 times. We had been waiting 45 mins before our drinks came over. The staff inside were not friendly at all and it seemed like a chore to bring over replacement mixers. The club itself is too hot. There’s no air in the whole building. They seriously need to invest in some air con. The upstairs is even worse than downstairs, but at least there’s 3 smoking doors open, so there’s easy access to get outside. The music was good, the drinks were ok. Don’t feel for the price of the booth, that the drinks were worth it though.

👍👍 The items arrived very well packed and protected from the rigours of the postal service. The scarf was of a very high quality material and my mum loved it. Simply perfect, I highly recommend both products and there's a reason why I shop on this site.
