By far my favorite bar in Utrecht. You really feel like you step out of the busy street into a typical Spanish tapas bar. The food and staff are amazing. The atmosphere is great and the cava is very smooth! I definitely recommend going here!

Good place to have dinner. The food is okay and the price too. We didn’t like that they have a offers inside of the bar which they said they are from the old menu so we couldn’t enjoy any of them but the offers are still there (in two different places actually). We tried croquetas, chopitos, patatas alioli and boquerones, everything was fine.

We chose this restaurant due to its excellent ratings but I don't know what went wrong the day we were there. To be clear, the food is very good but we had booked a table for 5 people at 18:00, and we knew we had to be out by 20:00 to make space for the next booking. Seems fair. In fact we were immediately reminded of this when we sat down, which was not very welcoming but ok. After 15min we had ordered our food but it took another 45min to receive it. We found this wait much too long, bearing in mind some of the dishes were cheese or sliced jamon, that don't need to be cooked. We later had to wait 30min for a bottle of wine. Water was requested three times but never delivered. At 19:45, we were told we couldn't order any more food, even though the delay was on the side of the kitchen. So, with no real apology we were turfed out without desert and went to find an ice cream. I would not go here again after this experience. Either you serve the food quickly or you give longer time-slot for reservations but don't make it the customer's problem.

Great place for after work drinks. We used to come here a lot pre-corona and we are glad to be back again. The rose cava is nice a refreshing for a hot day. The prices here are also reasonable. They have a small menu but it works. We like the pimentos a lot. They also have pan con tomate but I think it would be nice if they served some bread on the side (to soak up all that alcohol). Jamon here is a real winner, we tried both and enjoyed them a lot.

We had a great experience eating here. According to our Spanish neighbours, (and ourselves of course) the food was of high quality and reminded them of home. The grilled chorizo, fried anchovies and garlic mushrooms were our favourites. The pulpo and blood sausage were also great! Highly recommended. I promised to personnel (owners) to place a nice review so here it is, it's well deserved and I will surely eat here again :)

Champagneria is a great place for food and drinks. The ambiance is great and the food aswell. The people were lively and loud, exactly like in a classic Spanish tapas bar! The servers were also very nice. My girlfriend mentioned that she had the best croquetas ever, which says something! As two little recommendations I would say try to avoid putting your red wine in the fridge and maybe the portions of the pork cheek (even though it’s divine) could be a bit bigger. Nevertheless still 5/5!
