    The place has a good design and vibe. We've eaten ice cream, soft ijs, and it was delicious. The only annoyance was smell from tables. We moved to another table because of the smell but that table also had odor of food. They were either not well cleaned or cleaned with a too much used towel.

    So we drop by now and then, loving ourselves a nice bacon burger and some wedges. The owner is a pretty awesome bloke and his staff are always friendly.

    Verhage has very nice ice creams (soft ijs). Unfortunately cannot say the same about their food, which is just really plain.

    The service is nice but the tuna salad sandwich was a disappointment: a bun with a spoonful of tuna spread, no lettuce, tomato or cucumber as on the picture in the menu.
