One
of
the
few
mosques
in
Uyo.
It's
Jumah
mosque,
it
doesn't
contain
the
number
of
worshipers
who
come
there
for
Friday
prayer.
It's
a
centre
for
learning
for
both
young
and
old,
university
students
and
non-students
alike.
A
convergence
point
for
Muslims
in
Uyo.
The
mosque
is
home
to
Uniuyo
Muslim
Community,
MCAN
Uyo,
Akwa
Ibom
State,
FOMWAN,
Uyo
and
MSSN,
Uniuyo.

It's
an
Islamic
center
that
offers
spiritual
and
moral
support
to
attendees.
It
also
offers
Madrasah
(Quranic
and
Islamic
knowledge)
to
Muslim
kids
through
collaboration
with
FOMWAN.

A
good
place
to
pray
and
meditate
at
all
times
especially
on
fridays.
Security
is
also
guaranteed...

For
the
Muslim
faithful
searching
for
a
nice
abode,
UniUyo
Central
Mosque
is
the
best
amongst
the
rest
in
the
city.
Serene
and
cool
environment
for
worshippers.
It
was
built
close
to
the
university
cathedral,
which
depicts
the
peaceful
coexistence
that
the
campus
promotes
betweenthe
two
adherents
even
thoughthe
Akwa
Ibom
state
was
a
majorly
Christian
dominated
state,
It
is
also
a
stone
throw
from
the
commercial
banks
on
campus,
making
it
easy
to
access
your
traditional
banks
when
the
need
arises.
