We decided to skip the museum and go straight for the candy store. It was really crowded which made the shopping experience less than enjoyable. I guess it was to be expected in August! They sell a wide variety of Haribo candy, buy the store was so crowded, it was hard to really see what was available. Having said that, there is ample free parking and I will definitely go again the next time I'm in France!

We only stopped here as it was on the way to Pont du Gard. There appeared to be a playground called Candyland next to the actual Haribo shop and museum. We didn't go into the museum as you don't actually get to see the production which is what we were most interested in. for 36€ a family of 4 to enter the museum. We chose to spend the 36€ on sweets for the children instead. the shop is well presented with so much to choose from. there are toilets located on-site.

Don't go here, it's utterly pointless and you pay about 10 Euro each. You get 3 very small bags of candy and the displays are really really bad, just awful. Mostly big plastic dolls/statues that it is just ugly, even the kids thought it was sad. The aircondition is good so I guess it got that going for it but then it's better to go to the Carriefour down the road.

Promised to be a walk through the factory where they make haribo is probably a bit far fetched. Price wise it’s not massively expensive however the whole building just consists of various information boards and some moulded plastic sweets. There a large room with projectors which shows some weird VR animated trip. Best bit is getting some free sweets on your way around. The shop consists of any haribo you can think of but that’s about it. Not that great and probably not worth the entrance fee

They give out some samples throughout the self guided tour. Honestly, I think the visit should be free with a paid option to have candy.. I wouldn't go out of your way to visit... if you could visit a real candy factory, I think that would be much more interesting.. this is not a factory, just a self guided exhibit...

It's pretty cool - 3.5 stars would be more appropriate. It's quite short, and there is not much else in the area, so factor this in (we went on a rare rainy day). It was incredibly quiet when we went (perhaps 3 other families), which was great as it meant the kids could use the interactive exhibits as much as they liked. This would not be the case if it was busy, though so, again, factor this in. When you get your tickets you are also given tokens that you can use in the final area to get some Haribo from the machines (designed to look a bit like a factory/assembly line). This was easily the kids' favourite bit as you get several bags for each token. The shop is also, as you might expect, impressive for the kids

Sehr informativ.

Very, very busy place!! Too small for the number of people who were being admitted to visit, so there was limited space for being able to take photos, or enjoy the exhibit with the kids. Overall, it's a great museum for kids, but they need to reduce their numbers to be enjoyable.

Very well organized (in a German kind of way), but probably more detailed about the various types of sugar than most people would be interested in.

Very disappointing, very limited activities and quite boring for an adult. Nothing but full of screaming children making it difficult to read the small information panels. Just a few boards explaining the process of the creation of the sweets and a few scent sprays. Maybe half of it was TVs explaining something(subtitles in English) and very bare bone atmosphere with a very confusing layout of going left to right and up and down! The final nail in the coffin is the exit to vending machines like a break room for employees(tacky) and exit to a gift shop. It’s really a pathetic build up to the gift shop, if anything just skip the museum and go there first. It’s the only redeeming place but even so the sweets and merchandise aren’t enough to save this place. I wouldn’t dare ever return to this museum that is severely overhyped!

This is a lovely place to visit but please remember that it is a museum not the actual factory. It was quite informative though and did have lots of exhibits. We liked the packing machines that you put a coin into ( special coins that you can buy by the exhibit although you do get one on entry) and then you watch as it puts your sweets in the package and they drop out of the bottom! The shop though is fantastic so many sweets !! We had difficulty in choosing and spent about an hour just wandering round!

Unless you are French and really into the Haribo brand you should probably skip the museum. Nice samples 🙂 The shop is large and well stocked - but don’t expect factory outlet pricing.

It was very child friendly and shop was excellent. Very good for school tours. The machine room is not open to visitors at this time. Thanks a lot

Pure publicity, except for a few games for small kids nothing was worth a visit. The candys they showed and let us try where the worst Haribo has to offer. To be honest, even though it is meant to be publicity, I left the Museum with a worse impression of Haribo than before. Also we saw the massive plastic production that is really not necessary nor future friendly. It may be entertaining for kids but it is really not worth the time and the price (which btw is extremely overpriced)

My wife loved it and my daughter too. I found it a little bit small like all the comments state. One of the machines in the room 4 (the last one) didn’t work and I didn’t like the 2 other sweets. Other than that yes the shop at the end really is huge and the choice and price are really great especially on bulk. I think I’ve got sweets for the rest of the year. Don’t forget to get the loyalty card. We’ll probably be back!

Great place to learn about Haribo story and sweet manufacture. A bit expensive (12 euros pp for adults) considering there are 4 rooms to visit and it takes approx 1h to see everything. Bonus is you can get 2 mini sweet sachets free. Big car park, spaces for camping vans as well. Easy to find.

Haribo Laden mit Museum Eintritt sehr teuer 12 Euro Gummibärchen doppelt so teuer wie in Deutschland

  • 1/5 Matthias S. 6 months ago on Google • 7 reviews

Having fun to see how they produced candy in past and now.

Thats not museum, it is the bigest shop of Haribo in our galaxy. If you dont have children younger than 4 years dont go there. The worst spend many ever. I gave one star only bauceuse the nice staffs.

Heaven for kids!..and ok for parents. The entrance's ticket was bit pricy for what they exhibited...in overal, it was fun

  • 3/5 Camille R. 2 years ago on Google
I just really wasn’t impressed with the museum. I was very excited to go as I’m a big fan of Haribo, but left disappointed. Not much candy tasting and not a lot of depth in showing how candy is made. They do have a large gift shop though.

Not a lot to learn, but very nice boutique and cute games for kids.

  • 2/5 Elodie G. 4 months ago on Google
Tickets for the museum are too expensive (12 eur for adults and 10 eur for kids) for what there is to see. Shop has lots of products but you have to buy in large quantities.

They don't have so much to see . But is good take childrens to know how is the process and what they use for do the candies Haribo. There is too some interactives games, a store for buy candies and they have free parking.

Not much to do. But if you have small kids they will like it. Workers are very helpful they guide us to candies that were halal.

  • 3/5 Gustavo V. 9 months ago on Google
Nothing much to see. Expensive for what they offer. My 5 and 6 years old were bored there. Wouldn’t mind in going except if you’re crazy for Haribo

  • 3/5 Stach R. 1 year ago on Google
A fun museum that can be visited in about 2 hours. The museum is not highly educational, but is very entertaining and engaging due to a lot of flashy lights and playful elements. For the entrance fee of 10 euros, you get 3 little bags of candy and access to the museum. The staff is friendly and helpful.

  • 4/5 Rogier C. 1 year ago on Google
Nice museum with information on the history of Haribo. Very fun to "turn on" the candy machines you get when going in. Also, the store attached to the museum with all kinds of Haribo candies is very nice!! Especially in summer, if you go around opening, it is not too crowded yet. There is a large parking place in front of the museum, so parking should not be a problem.

It was a museum of high standard with good animations and illustrations. It was however a bit small. It doesnt take long to see the whole museum and it was a bit too much minded to children. It would have been great to see the actual production more. It was lacking english translation some places in the excibition. Prices for entry was fair.

Very colourful museum. Is great to do with kids because … candy!

  • 1/5 Nicolas M. 1 year ago on Google
The worst museum in the world. Nothing to learn, only commercials and plastic artefacts. If you love screaming children, ridiculous museology and diabetes, do not hesitate, it’s the place to go!

  • 2/5 Femke W. 1 year ago on Google
The museum is not worth the very long wait. Didn't learn much about candy/candymaking. Kids were very grumpy after the hour wait to enter. Thought it would be more fun for our kids. Wouldn't recommend.

Museum good for children, with plenty of opportunities for adults to take selfies for social media. Shop has improved with a good range of merchandise and price is not too excessive.

The concept is great and the museum is very busy in the Summer months and school holidays. (check opening times as often closed on Mondays off season). BUT I must say if you have small kids who can not read ... then they will be bored until the last room where you choose and see your sweets being bagged up. There is a great deal of reading in the museum and hence my caution for small kids. Sadly the large play area that was outside is now gone so it is really a one hour excursion.
