    Very long and complicated check in - they overcharged me and insisted my card was declined when the cash came out. Staff were not very well trained and one actually just waved us away and said to go away and come back later to sort out the payment (which I had already made!). Not a 5* service at all. Rooms are tired and things are broken (handles came off, tap was loose). Would have been stylish in 1987. Pool is ok if you like broken tiles and flies everywhere. Not sure why everyone else raves about the hotel. It is very overpriced, rude, unhelpful staff and 3* at best by European standards. We left after one night and stayed at SO Bangkok which was less expensive and far superior with lovely views and great staff. UPDATE: it has now been almost a month since my stay and the hotel have not processed a refund for the nights that I left early. They owe me almost £400 and the refund it still ‘in process’. If the manager could please contact me ASAP as the reception staff continue to not help and be rude I would appreciate it. I cant believe this nightmare is still ongoing a month after I left Bangkok.

    This is the best hotel stays I ever had in bangkok. We had previously stayed at other 5 stars hotel but none of them was as good as our recent stay at Sofitel. Lobby was not big, but it was adequate. Very nicely decorated with a tinge of class with its marbled floor and walls. Check in was smooth and fast. Instruction was clear and all queries answered quickly. Room was a good size with a huge bathroom and a bed that’s bigger than king size. Very well decorated and the hotel has a turn down service which we liked personally. Views from the room was awesome. The hotel offered the best breakfast spread which we had ever seen. The quality was good and presentation was appetizing. Service standard was more than adequate with servers remembering our table and serving the freshly cooked dishes. Keep up the good work!

    Great hotel in a great location. The staff is really nice and friendly. The room is spacious and nicely furnished. On the other hand it’s rather noisy and you can hear the road and the train. The breakfast is really not that good and even the coffee shop downstairs is below average. Finally the room cleaning is poor and they refuse to change the bathrobes during my entire stay. I would say it’s not a real 5 star hotel experience..

    Two stays in July 2022. First stay - one room 13/07/22 - 18/07/22. One twin room Second stay - three rooms from 29/07/22 - 01/08/22. We regularly visit Bangkok and the hotel we usually visit is in SOI 18. Because my wife was travelling a couple of weeks earlier she wanted to book a more centrally located hotel and we chose the Sofitel. Good but busy location - always activity around there. Reception area seems relatively clean and welcoming. But nothing that screaming 5*. The check-in process was relatively fast and rooms available even though we checked in a couple of hours early. I must say not the friendliest of staff at reception (always experienced friendly staff at Thai hotels). Rooms relatively comfortable but we were in 2102/2103/220/2 and the rooms didn’t feel fresh and decor seemed s little dated. Bathrooms mostly good. Breakfast room clean and good selection unless you’re overly fussy like me. Pool was good for a city hotel. Am I visiting again - no. I didn’t think the offering was anything better than our usual hotel (which is less than half the price of this).

    Great hospitality, lobby is grand, big and clean. Very attentive staffs. Great experience while checking in. Room - Pretty old furniture, mattress is very soft and pillows are pretty flatten. This cause neck and back ache after a night sleep. Hope to have a more fluffy pillow. Breakfast buffet- wide spread of international and local cuisine, taste good and staffs are quick to clear empty plates. Well done. If not for the pillow and mattress thingy, I believe this hotel deserve at least a 4 stars rating.

    Great location but definitely not a 5-star experience. The breakfast is sufficient but the presentation if the breakfast buffet is very basic. Our room was full of paint fumes for the first two nights - and even though we were moved to a new room after complaining, I feel that we should not have been put into this room in the first place. There are small details missing from what we’d expect of a five star hotel including no hand towels in the gym bathrooms, flat mixers for the cocktails in the Millesime Club and at the pool, very late room cleaning (4:00pm).

    Great hotel nestled in the night life area of the city. Room is very comfortable and the staff is fantastic. Pricier than others in the area but in my opinion very worth it. As in most areas there are taxi drivers trying to overcharge hanging around out front of the hotel. Have fun and be safe!

    Great location. Good breakfast but service is awful. I was completely ignored. I watched a waitress clear the plates at the table next to mine then skipped my table and cleared the other table down from me. And when I arrived no one seated me and when they did they just asked me to sit. They did not walk me to my table or ask if I wanted coffee like they did other people. Also the room smelled funny - I think it’s the carpet. Front desk staff and room service very helpful. I’d give it 5 stars if I was just judging the location and other staff. The amenities are no different than other 4 and 5-star hotels.

    Very nice hotel, great courteous staff. Room was excellent, price was great, food was great. The location is very good, close to terminal 21 mall, and BTS. The only reason that I am not giving it 5 stars was due to waiting for having to wait on our room until 3 pm. Also, paying an 8000 baht deposit on top of paying for the room. But I do get the 8000 baht back but it takes about 1 week to get it. My fault I guess for not having a credit card. But I would definitely stay again. But take a credit card for the deposit.

    The room was fine. The club lounge was closed due to renovations. The elite rooms aren't worth it without lounge access. Service was slow on the rooftop bar& restaurant. Took half an hour to get someone to take our order.

    Excellent hotel with good location in Bangkok. Our room was well appointed with a huge bathtub and rain shower, and a comfortable sitting area with king bed. The view was nothing special, but you could enjoy the sunset. We had access to the executive lounge, and the staff were incredibly polite and attentive. Their buffet breakfast and tea were delicious! It’s easy to take a taxi around Bangkok from the central location, or walk to the metro. The pool area is also gorgeous and a great spot to escape the hustle of the city. Excellent value for money.

    My boyfriend stayed here for around 3 months. He’s relax, easy and kind person. Staffs were useless (not housekeepers but front desk) as He got breakfast only for the weekends. (That’s what he got informed.) no paper to confirm what are benefits he will get. I’d like to ask for him but he said he would do himself. So I wouldn’t be bother. Until his last night in Bangkok we invited our friend who’s also working at the 5 stars hotel. We told her everything and she said this isn’t right. We already complained to the manager on his last day in Thailand which is so late. But that’s okay. He will never come back to Sofitel again. I swear :)

    The hotel is under renovation, and it is big time as the rooms now looks really old and used. The club floor was very good, with excellent service from the whole team (thanks to all ladies and men for the professional service , always with a smile). The service also of the reception and the manager was vertmb good. Very good breakfast and nice pool and gym.

    Very very nice lunch all you can eat from a special menù. The chefs did a great job, the service was very hearty and attentive. We'll sure be back. Thank you very much for a wonderful lunch experience.

    One of the most underrated rooftop bars amongst crazy pricey options in Bangkok. There’s no reservation charges or advance booking and the service and view is breathtaking. Highly recommended. Best time to visit is obviously the golden hour.

    This is a well positioned property in Bangkok, and is within walking distance to the Asok BTS through the linkway bridge located on level 3 of the hotel. The rooms have been refreshed and refurbished, and controls in the room are all digitised. Great team of concierge in the hotel to ensure that guests were warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Special mention of Pete, the Head concierge of the hotel, who had evidently led his team well and showed warm hospitality to the guests.

    One of the worst hotel experiences I ever had. The fist impression was the dirty floor and dirts fall from the roof near the entrance elevators due to on going maintenance. We should to go to 31 floor to the lobby. And go down again to our room. Third day they start to paint the walls and nobody informs the guests. I have asthma so the smell triggered my asthma attack. The last day they changed lobby area to ground floor again and also nobody informed the guests. We lost about 15 minutes waiting for our driver to come from old entrance to the new one.

    Newly renovated, fresh, vibrant in the heart of sukhumvit, staff so welcoming and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble Very, very good breakfast spread . I was fortunate to have a club room.. one of the better clubs in Bangkok. Great afternoon tea and lovely cocktail hours. Also I had a couple of the best massage experiences and a truly great facial. Very good gym and spa area. I am happy to recommend

    I had requested for early check in. but i got complimentry only after 10am. which was very uncomfortable coz i had travelled 7 hours journey... i was very tired. . i had wait till 10am. to get my room. otherwise the hotel is fully renovated and its good to stay. and very clean. Breakfast was good. rooms were well decorated. thank you

    Since checking-in, my platinum membership was well recognized. I was escorted to do check-in at the lounge. The room is newly-renovated, comfortable enough. Everything in the room is controlled by fingertip using the tablet. The lounge is nice, filled with delicious food and drink. The breakfast at Voila was just perfect. The welcome drink vouchers came in the digital version.

    The hotel had an excellent location, just a 2-minute walk from the shopping center. The rooms were spacious and stylish. The staff were very friendly and kind, and the breakfast was very complete and good. The only drawbacks were the small lobby and the average pool, but overall, I had a very good experience.

    The staff were exceptional at ensuring my husband and I had a wonderful stay. The room was beautiful and clean. The buffet breakfast choice was insane and highly recommended. You will leave with your belly full. The location was easy to get around with a train station around the corner.

    Having been regular patrons of this hotel before Covid, we experimented with another nearby hotel in the interim, but our hearts remain here. The standout factor is undoubtedly the staff, who make us feel like we’re returning home. This time, our accommodation was a freshly renovated room adorned with pleasing colors and decor, part of the hotel’s comprehensive makeover. As a Diamond member, we received an upgrade to a splendid room, accompanied by a delightful surprise of pastries and birthday decorations. Situated conveniently next to a BTS station, this hotel boasts a fantastic location with ample dining options and places to unwind. Special thanks to the Club Millesime staff, including Sindy, Mackey, Tum, Shoki, Gift, Khaow, Ann, Nok, and the team, who took excellent care of us throughout the week. The concierge team, comprising Pete, Boy, Tony, Tui, Tee, Tow, Natty, Kiki, Kevin, and Lay, consistently provided a warm welcome and seamless assistance in navigating the city. For a truly enjoyable dinner and music experience, Belga at the rooftop is unparalleled. The food and music, curated by Michael and Nan, are excellent, complemented by great service and breathtaking views. Eagerly anticipating our return in the near future.

    The hotel is located smack on Sukhimvit with easy access to the Askoke BTS station. The rooms are very tastefully done and well appointed. The staff is warm and friendly and we found this to be the case even at the different restaurants we tried! The only place where I felt a little let down was the allocation of the room. We had booked a Magnifique room, hoping for a better view but we got one on the 12th floor with a pretty average view. I was an Accor silver member at the time and it felt like that wasn’t taken into consideration, especially after I had already emailed a couple of times letting them know how much I was looking forward to the 5 day stay and even requested for an upgrade. Now I am aware that room allocations are often dependent on availability, and I I’m possibly nit picking here, but I’ve generally had good luck with other hotels with these things, especially where I have a membership. Overall my family had a great time and we would definitely look to stay here again on our next trip.

    The only fault I can find is the wine list in the top bar lists its price but when we came to pay a service charge and tax was added on top. Whilst I am sure that somewhere it will be printed that these additional charges will be made it was not obvious. Other hotels we have stayed on actually will list the price and also state straight after that the tax and service charge are included after each price. So what you see is is what the price is. As these additional charges were significant at Sofitel they should be included in the price listing in my opinion

    Well located hotel with fantastic facilities. Staff go out of their way to ensure you enjoy everything the hotel offers. Pete, the concierge, was brilliant. Nothing to much trouble for him. Wonderful roof top bar with great views over Bangkok. Maison Mizuki is one of the best Japanese restaurants I've eaten in outside of Japan. Fresh sushi and great selection of Japanese whiskeys. Definitely an experience to be repeated. We will be back.

    We spent 3 nights and happy with the service here. The room was clean everyday, the swimming pool is big and has many long chair for relaxing, the fitness room also has many things for gamer. Staffs are polite. Everything is new but the only thing is the bed is a little hard.

    We loved our stay at the hotel. Even though we live in Bangkok, we enjoyed the experience of staying so centrally. The brunch on Christmas Day was the best we have experienced. The room was excellent and extremely comfortable. The service was absolutely fantastic. We will be staying in the hotel again and highly recommend the hotel to others.

    We stayed at prestige suite, the room was spacious however the round bath in the room is not really comfortable to use. The club lounge was spacious. The breakfast selections and service was good. Overall had a great stay but still plenty of room for improvement to compete with other luxury hotels in Bangkok.

    I would like to complain only 1 thing - Cleanliness was not that what I expected. Since I found short hair at the toilet seat and also kind of small leather or hair I was not sure at under the pillow. Seems like small issue but it should not have kind of these stuff for the 5 star hotel (compare to other 5 stars hotel in Bangkok) - For others, you have done quite well. Good amenities, easily for controlling the room by using tablet etc.

    Had a really excellent stay at this hotel. Normal check in 2pm I was early I got entry to my room at 8.30am, fast check in and a great room on 28th floor with fab view. The room was excellent and breakfast buffet huge choice. The staff were very friendly and a strict reassuring covid 19 regime in place. I,ll be back.......

    Amazing hotel. Beautiful interior lobby and rooms, everything was perfect. Pool views are stunning and the gym is well equipped. Unfortunately the rooftop restaurant wasn't open but the french cafe on the ground floor was great, definitely try the lobster roll.

    A short overnight stay. Only sampled room service and breakfast which was good. Service and Staff very good. Just a bit of a disinfectant smell in the lobby. Maybe a good thing in the current COVID epidemic

    Availed the 24 Hour Staycation package- definitely worth it! Accommodating staff and great services. Buffet breakfast is available at the restaurant at time of stay. Pool is open for lounging around and have a cool rooftop restaurant

    Stay here then I know how we called 5 stars hotel. Whether hotel quite aged but all facilities have good maintenance. My room (prestige suite) is very clean, bathroom big and new, bed is very comfy then I need to lie down as long as I can. Service also superb, staffs at front desk and club lounge are helpful and very nice. In conclusion, I would like to come back again if have a chance.

    Good service. Great restaurant with the rooftop view. I would recommend to stay in their suit so good view and good accommodation. A little bit crowded on the weekend where it is famous for foreigners. Good breakfast of choices. Good spa services.

    No cons for this hotel. The staff is helpful and efficient. The rooms I stayed in were spacious with comfortable furniture. Each had a desk with power supply that were actually good for desk work, unlike many hotels. Both rooms had great views and were absolutely silent at night. Beds are very comfortable with new soft pillows and fine white sheets. The rooftop restaurant is popular and has outdoor seating with expansive views of the city. The breakfast buffet had an enormous selection of high quality options, both western and eastern along with lots of coffee options.

    We stayed one night prior to flying home and it was excellent. A proper 5-star hotel with everything high quality! They upgraded our room and gave us late check out for the flight the next day. They also gave us access to the Club Millisime level too, even fitting us in right before it closed, even though we checked in late. The rooftop bar/restaurant has great views and the food was fantastic. Our room was newly renovated - very modern and technological with the tablet controlling all lighting, entertainment and room service. The convenient BTS walk-way to Terminal 21 shopping centre was great too. We would definitely stay here again!

    Excellent hotel. Loved my stay here. In the heart of a great area, easy transportation to everywhere, incredibly helpful staff. Definitely a go-to place in Bangkok. The breakfast is a vast array of fruits, meats and vegetables. Everything you can want.

    Excellent in terms of service, price, and location relative to whatever your wishes are in Bangkok. We stayed here during the "opening up" after the omicron COVID wave, so guests were few and help was plentiful. I'd stay here again for sure.

    Loved our stay here. The breakfast was one of the best we'd ever had and all the food was delicious and to a high standard. The room was large and beds very comfortable. Would love to thank Thum, Khao and all other staff who made our stay amazing. All staff are professional and just so warm and welcoming. We really felt at home.

    Great hotel at a a great location. Rooms are a bit outdated to my taste, but otherwise very well maintained. Also we had a kinda funky smell outside of our room in the corridor. A really classy hotel, great breakfast buffet, easy access to the skyline train (3rd level), very nice and helpful staff.

    Great rooms and location, but the staff were the real gems. I had my birthday here and random employees were aware and wished me happy birthday. They even gave me a personal cake. The service desk and cafe workers were exceptional.

    5 star service all the way. A huge thank you to Team member Beer that gave me the most impressive service. I was making a booking for SPA treatment and reached out via Messenger. I was a bit difficult with changing the time but Beer made every effort to accommodate me and got me the best spot! Rearranged to fit me in. Thank you! I can’t wait to come and stay for a week.

    Nice hotel with good service. Stuff is very friendly. Gym, pool and SPA with good quality. If you book bed and breakfast you’ll more than satisfied with variety of food. In the roof top restaurant Belga with open terrace and amazing view to night Bangkok. Good location. 3 malls in walking distance.
