4/5 Travel Here Y. 2 years ago on Google
Conclusion:
The
hotel
rooms
look
very
outdated.
This
hotel
is
targeted
towards
business
travelers.
I
wouldn't
recommend
this
hotel
for
leisure
trips.
The
food
and
drinks
are
decent.
The
executive
lounge
/
club
lounge
is
very
comfortable.
I
think
this
hotel
is
a
little
bit
overpriced
(3000
THB
/
night).
-
Negative
experiences:
-1.
My
room
was
upgraded
to
an
''executive
club
room''
but
on
the
day
of
check-in
I
was
downgraded
to
a
''premium
deluxe
room'',
which
is
a
deluxe
room
+
high
floor.
-2.
The
staff
at
check-in
(and
on
their
website)
told
me
that
the
''premium
deluxe
room''
is
recently
refurbished
/
renovated
but
none
of
the
rooms
are
renovated
(except
2
suite
rooms).
-3.
After
check-in
they
gave
me
the
worst
located
hotel
room
of
the
whole
hotel.
The
room
was
directly
opposite
of
the
elevator
and
also
had
a
bad
room
view.
I'm
a
Titanium
member
and
they
tried
to
give
me
the
worst
room.
It
was
no
problem
for
me
to
wait
for
a
better
room
and
after
2
hours
I
got
a
room
away
from
the
noisy
elevator.
-4.
The
hotel
room
looks
very
outdated.
This
style
of
room
interior
was
popular
20
years
ago.
-5.
The
hotel
room
interior
looks
cheap.
Old
style
carpet.
The
wood
in
the
room
looks
cheap.
The
lamp
in
the
room
looks
cheap.
The
small
table
at
the
sofa
looks
cheap.
Looks
like
Ikea
stuff.
-6.
Room
amenities
are
downgraded.
I
was
excited
to
try
out
''The
Westin
Heavenly
Spa''
amenities
but
there
weren't.
Now
they
use
''Le
grand
bain''
brand.
-7.
The
TV
in
the
room
is
low
quality.
I
don't
watch
TV
but
this
type
of
TV
you
find
in
3-star
hotels.
-8.
The
hotel
rooms
have
a
Nespresso
machine
but
no
coffee
cups.
Hotel
guests
must
drink
their
espresso
in
a
large
tea
mug.
-9.
The
windows
in
the
room
are
looking
a
bit
dirty
-10.
The
food
and
drinks
quality
at
breakfast
and
the
executive
lounge
is
decent.
No
salmon
at
breakfast.
One
day
there
wasn't
salami
at
breakfast.
Orange
juice
tastes
watery.
Watery
coffee
in
the
club
lounge
(like
always
in
Marriott
executive
lounges
they
add
half
a
liter
of
water
to
your
coffee).
-
Positive
experiences:
-1.
Big
hotel
room
(40
square
meters)
-2.
The
working
desk
and
office
chair
in
the
room
are
great.
It's
the
best
of
all
Marriott
hotels
in
Thailand.
Very
good
for
working
trips.
-3.
The
bed
is
very
comfortable
(The
Heavenly
bed
of
The
Westin
hotels
is
famous
for
this).
The
hotel
rooms
are
soundproof.
My
neighbour
was
making
very
loud
phone
calls
but
in
the
room
I
didn't
hear
anything.
-4.
The
interior
of
the
executive
lounge
/
club
lounge
looks
outdated
but
is
very
comfortable.
There
are
big
and
soft
lounge
chairs
with
big
tables.
The
staff
here
is
very
nice
and
helpful
/
attentive.
The
staff
serves
hotel
guests
very
well.
-5.
The
hotel
lobby
looks
beautiful
and
has
nice
big
and
soft
chairs
and
sofas.
-6.
The
deserts
at
this
hotel
are
delicious.
