Conclusion: The hotel rooms look very outdated. This hotel is targeted towards business travelers. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for leisure trips. The food and drinks are decent. The executive lounge / club lounge is very comfortable. I think this hotel is a little bit overpriced (3000 THB / night). - Negative experiences: -1. My room was upgraded to an ''executive club room'' but on the day of check-in I was downgraded to a ''premium deluxe room'', which is a deluxe room + high floor. -2. The staff at check-in (and on their website) told me that the ''premium deluxe room'' is recently refurbished / renovated but none of the rooms are renovated (except 2 suite rooms). -3. After check-in they gave me the worst located hotel room of the whole hotel. The room was directly opposite of the elevator and also had a bad room view. I'm a Titanium member and they tried to give me the worst room. It was no problem for me to wait for a better room and after 2 hours I got a room away from the noisy elevator. -4. The hotel room looks very outdated. This style of room interior was popular 20 years ago. -5. The hotel room interior looks cheap. Old style carpet. The wood in the room looks cheap. The lamp in the room looks cheap. The small table at the sofa looks cheap. Looks like Ikea stuff. -6. Room amenities are downgraded. I was excited to try out ''The Westin Heavenly Spa'' amenities but there weren't. Now they use ''Le grand bain'' brand. -7. The TV in the room is low quality. I don't watch TV but this type of TV you find in 3-star hotels. -8. The hotel rooms have a Nespresso machine but no coffee cups. Hotel guests must drink their espresso in a large tea mug. -9. The windows in the room are looking a bit dirty -10. The food and drinks quality at breakfast and the executive lounge is decent. No salmon at breakfast. One day there wasn't salami at breakfast. Orange juice tastes watery. Watery coffee in the club lounge (like always in Marriott executive lounges they add half a liter of water to your coffee). - Positive experiences: -1. Big hotel room (40 square meters) -2. The working desk and office chair in the room are great. It's the best of all Marriott hotels in Thailand. Very good for working trips. -3. The bed is very comfortable (The Heavenly bed of The Westin hotels is famous for this). The hotel rooms are soundproof. My neighbour was making very loud phone calls but in the room I didn't hear anything. -4. The interior of the executive lounge / club lounge looks outdated but is very comfortable. There are big and soft lounge chairs with big tables. The staff here is very nice and helpful / attentive. The staff serves hotel guests very well. -5. The hotel lobby looks beautiful and has nice big and soft chairs and sofas. -6. The deserts at this hotel are delicious.

Things I like - 1. Convenient location for getting access to trains and shops. 2. Well equipped gym. 3. Housekeeping team are quick in responding to my requests. Things that can improve - 1. The coffee machine is way too tall for me (152cm)! I can't see the capsule and the operation is super inconvenient 2. There is a "smart" control panel by the bed to control lighting in the room, but turning off "master" lighting doesn't turn off all lights in the room.…?! Then how can it be "master"? Also the panel doesn't how to dim itself so I need to find a towel to cover it in the night so it's not disturbing.

Make sure to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any room. This site will compare thousands of booking websites and normally will have prices much cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This place is the best rated in this area. I have been coming here for years. If you stay for a few nights you definitely won't regret it. Great location, exceptional staff, beautiful hotel. I highly recommend staying here if you visit Bangkok. It's in very close proximity to various shopping malls (walking distance), restaurants, and more.

Business hotel with conference rooms, not romantic or cosy. The rooms and facilities are run down and old, not up to 5 star hotel standards anymore. Uninterested / arrogant front desk staff, not welcoming at all. Please note that spa they advertise is actually not theirs, it is just in the same building, so if something goes wrong the staff won’t help you. The sauna also did not work and the steam room was moldy so we could not use those either. The location itself is good in the city center but quite noisy so bring earplugs. We won’t stay here again, definitely not worth the high price.

The room is nice with a comfortable bed. Excellent service; from the front desk to restaurants to housekeeping, etc. Location is great and near the sky train. Ask for a room on a high floor for a better view. The breakfast buffet offered is good with many options. Great water pressure and hot water in the shower. The drain was slow but did the job.

My stay at The Westin Grande was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel's luxurious ambiance, coupled with impeccable service, made for a truly memorable experience. The spacious and well-appointed rooms provided a comfortable retreat, and the attention to detail by the staff was evident throughout. The culinary offerings surpassed expectations, with a diverse range of delectable dishes to choose from. The hotel's commitment to health and wellness was reflected in its fitness facilities and rejuvenating spa services. The central location of The Westin Grande added to the convenience, allowing easy access to nearby attractions. From the moment I arrived to the time of departure, the staff exhibited professionalism and a genuine commitment to ensuring a pleasant stay. I highly recommend The Westin Grande for those seeking a luxurious and rejuvenating hotel experience.

Westin Grande Sukhumvit gets all five stars from me because : - Conveniently located next to Asok BTS station and right next to the popular Terminal 21 mall - Amazing friendly staff. - Because it’s targeted towards the Japanese businessmen and tourists, the premises are very clean and the toilets have bidets. Which is a major plus for me Major special points for the amazing check in counter staff. Due to personal reasons, I came very early to check in and super cranky and stressed. The check in counter staff was polite and even managed to find a room for me even though it’s way to early to check in. It’s little touches of above and beyond services like that that I truly appreciate.

great hotel for a short stay in Bangkok, close to Terminal21 mall and east city access However, for longer stays i would recommend different places. I stayed there a couple of days and enjoyed it. 4 stars because it feels like a very good 4 star hotel for me, but i don’t felt the ‘golden’ flair of a luxury 5 star house. Nevertheless, absolutely a great place to stay

Westin is one of the quarantine hotels in BKK. They do a thorough job regarding infection containment. You are brought in via the garage and service elevators to your room. There you have no contact with anyone during your stay, apart from the person who test you 3 times. You get 3 meals in plastic trays every day - nice food. Quarantine currently lasts for 14 days regardless of your vaccination status.

The Westin is well located next to Terminal 21 for food and shopping. The staff is nice and friendly. One of my complaints on a previous stay was their lack of power outlets by the nightstands. There was a power strip this time which was not the fix I was looking for, but does the trick. The room feels a bit dated and I would have appreciated a hand shower head in the shower. The daily fruits was a nice touch, but the one thing that was missing was a welcome note. Ideally from the GM, the loyalty manager or the director of rooms. Small, simple and meaningful. Despite the expectations falling short, it was a nice stay.

The hotel is situated at a great location. I have stayed here plenty of times. NOTE: Bonvoy elite members get good recognition here. The hotel is well maintained but I guess refurbishment might be due soon as its a little dated. Overall still a great stay and will be back again.

Having stayed at numerous Westin properties, this one is easily superior. From the front desk staff, the doorman, and the housekeeping, all employees do an impeccable job. As this is my first time to Bangkok, I would certainly choose this hotel again, and again. As a gold elite member, it easily meets and exceeds all standards!

Amazing hotel with simply the best staff. The rooms while a bit on the older side are definitely still up to what's expected of a 5* hotel. However what makes the hotel really worth it is the service mindedness of the staff and the location. Thank you once again to P'Plug for assisting me during my time there.

The services was very great, all staff were helpful and kind. Although the hotel itself is not a brand new hotel but they maintain all the facilities well, very comfort room especially the Westin heavenly bed. Breakfast are delicious and have a lot of variation. The gym is huge, very good.

The two of us chose the hotel due to its central location (though taxis hate the area due to the traffic) and connectivity. It also had nice lounge and staff, and good rooms (albeit the hotel could use an update). Moreover the breakfast was delicious - containing a range of international and Asian dishes. We even had sushi for breakfast one of the days!

Easily one of the best Westins I have ever stayed at around the world. Phenomenal service and attention to detail. Thai hospitality is the real deal. Adjacent to the Asok station so you can quickly get around Bangkok. The room was clean and amenities aplenty. The breakfast buffet was stellar (with coconut water served in coconuts) and has flavors for all ethnicities. If I return to Bangkok, the Westin will be on my repeat list. Marriott properties in this city has surpassed my expectations.

Really great location right next to the BTS and the Terminal 21 mall. We were a family of 4 so we needed a room with 2 double beds and so we booked here. Rooms were very comfortable and breakfast was good. Book breakfast on check in if not already in the room rate.

Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Customer service is superb. Easy access to Terminal 21 and the Asok BTS from the hotel lobby. The food is a bit pricey but also high quality. One drawback is that the pool is somewhat small. Overall, good experience and I would definitely consider staying there again if I return to Bangkok.

Location was strategic with terminal 21 next to it and Asok station right in front. Plenty of food options within walking distance as well . Rooms are a bit old. There was no conditioner despite a bottle in the toilet. Gym quite equipped but aged as well.

I just checkout today, but I need to say that, it is the best grand band hotel I stay in Bangkok, it is better than the grand Hyatt Edward. As a platinum member, I can get my room at 1 pm and the free breakfast and club assessment. Club will offer afternoon tea between 12:00-16:00 and happy hour time in 18:00-20:00. As you can see, it is enough to eat, tasty and good to take photos. The breakfast is eaten in the lobby, 7th. Their breakfast has many high lights, first the meji yogurt, second the noodles, and their food choice of the meat. If you are thinking about where to enjoy your two days, you can come here and have the club room. Last by not least, it is much more better than Grand Hyatt.

I thought that being quarantined would be boring, but all the staff of the hotel was so nice that it turned out to be pleasant. SERVICE EXPRESS and WGS ASQ FOOD ORDER were professional, very responsive and could find an answer for all the questions I’ve asked. Thank you so much, I will return to the Westin Grande for my next stay in BKK.

    - Super convenient to commute to the hotel by the BTS sky train - Asoke station. - The location is great & safe, right at the downtown/business area in Bangkok, close to Terminal21 department store where you can find the popular local food court there. - Great customer service esp. the front staffs & the staffs at the club lounge - thanks a lot for your wonderful services too! - The suite room that I got upgraded is newly redecorated with a nice view, super clean and large for two people - big thanks again to the front staff! :)
