Beautiful architecture, l love the terraced decks for sitting and the play of light, void and spaces. The food and drink options are also wide, and there is always something to cater to your cravings.

It is a wonderful experience of visiting the COMMONS. I stayed in nearby hotel for long time but it’s my first time coming here. I would say it is an architectural design project in real life, with lots of conceptual layerings, experimental spaces and materials. I highly recommend our fellow architect or designer to come and I’m sure you will enjoy!

Love the architecture concept. The iconic stairs, levels, creative public spaces, humble use of materials, exposing every details. Great architect 👍 Note: follow my instagram @stefanusos for my architectural photo journey

The COMMONS is what I would call a hipster place, given the vibes, industrial design and loads of amazing food options. Yet that would be doing a disservice to the place as it serves as a breathing space for the residents and locals in the area to gather and spend quality time together. The ample seating places are airy so you won't feel like you're baking in the Bangkok heat and has that communal feel, like you could share spaces and make friends with anyone. It's a place to hang out, chill, see and be seen. There aren't many shops and the F&B outlets far outnumber the non-F&B outlets. Roast, at the top floor is worth the travel to The COMMONS, though they have another outlet at Emquartier. Food wise I've only eaten at each outlet once so can't make much of a comparison but the decor at their outlet at The COMMONS is so much more chill and laid back, it reminds me of the cafes in Melbourne. Oh, yea... You do get some nice photos here too.😘

Really sleek architectural design! My go-to place whenever I’m in Bangkok 🥰 Such a pretty place, with many good food, good vibes, and awesome coffee (roots) ☕️. Roast bakery at the top floor is 💯💯💯. Love this place!

Great Thonglor restaurant/shopping complex with a variety of shops on multiple levels. Last visit was for their International Jazz Day festival of live (free) jazz performances. Very relaxed vibe and lots of people there to enjoy music, food & drinks.

Great ambiance in both sunny and rainy weather. There are clean toilets (not all stalls have bidet), an elevator for accessibility, and both outdoor and indoor seating. There are also many places to pick from to try out and a photobooth that we used (for 100 baht). It is a bit of a walk however from the station to the commons if you are saving on commute / Grab.

Great space to hang out with your friends. There’re lots of options for finger food and alcohol. And there’s also live music as well. For those who want to come and work here, while the venue is great and has free wifi, the number of tables with a charging point is limited. So unless your battery lasts really long, you might need to think twice to come here and work.

Cool place refurbished from an old building. Nice industrial look with many upscale eateries and cafes. Prices are accordingly so expect more westerns to be around.

A cool place to hang out. An unique 3-Story complex with lots of open air space. Natural breeze is always better than freezing AC😃. Ground floor is “the market” where you find different food stalls offering different types of food and both alcoholic / non alcoholic beverages. A chill cool place you can easily spend your day by just grabbing a drink and chit chat with friends.

A cool place to hang out, have food and work. Only tried the cafe in the top floor, which had good coffee and food, so well try out the other food places here another time.

The Commons (Community center) is located on Thonglor Soi 17. The Nearest BTS would be the Thonglor station and its around 10 mins walk. A good community space with lots of interesting architectural design (open space) and cool chic cafes and restaurant inside. Ground floor have lots of varieties of food and bevs for you to choose from. You named it, from lobster roll to churros to pad krapow etc. Great space to hang out with your friends and loved ones. Can get jammed pack during weekends though.

Immense community location that’s very clean and well maintained with ample seating options. Pet-friendly so you’ll always see a few friendly pups wandering around. A whole lotta food and beverage options including a ceviche stand, bagel stall, burger joints, coffee shops, tea booth, cheese & charcuterie displays and even a fresh seafood tower. Upstairs, there’s a hair salon, stalls with homemade and organic brands as well as a few more restaurants + a Japanese highball bar. Very cool place to check out and spend the afternoon.

Such a great atmosphere. Plenty of young people hanging around for hours drinking and working on their laptops. Heaps of food and drink options. Maybe a little bit more pricey than some areas but worth it for the vibes. Probably as hipster as it gets in Bangkok.

Somehow it feels like a green architecture building with less Aircon and mostly natural light. Suitable for chilling & relaxing, also nice to work there, a lot of electric plug and wifi is available. Mostly the vendors are for middle up (looking from the prices). But it sure paid off from the atmosphere.

This is a really great place to go with friends to relax with a few glasses of wine, bet our a coffee and food. There are a number of restaurants with a good selection and is multi level so plenty of seating and choices. They have an indoor area with AC and outdoor with large fans, toilets, easy access and a very nice self contained environment to visit. Well worth a visit, I would recommend you see it at least once, evenings are best though busy but if you life it slightly quiet and relaxed then maybe the day time. great place to pass time

I visited the other Commons the last time I was here, so I thought I'd go to the Thonglor one this times and it's so great! Really gorgeous design of the building and a great selection of food!

If you don't arrive early in the evening, there is no space to sit down. It's a food court method, so it's hard to leave a seat if you go alone.

This is such a cool spot! It’s super chill and has tons of options for food & drinks. The Roast coffee was fantastic as was Monty’s bagels! It’s a really great place to chill before your flight leaves or even do some work at

Nice place, good vibe and good food. They've got one the best chicken wings place in Bangkok (Foulmouth, it has the spiceist wings). The building itself has less parking space but the do notice there is a parking building just before commons (which people usually miss)

The Commons is a treat for both the taste buds and the soul. The food court features an impressive variety of delicious cuisines to satisfy any craving. Every dish I've tried has been cooked to perfection and full of flavor. I was also pleasantly surprised by the broad selection of imported beers. It's not every day that you find such an extensive array at a local food court. The beer options add a unique edge to this place and are a must-try for all beer enthusiasts. The atmosphere? Warm and inviting. Despite being spacious, it still manages to feel cozy, perfect for relaxed dining. The Commons seamlessly combines great food, a diverse drink menu, and a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!

A shopping center w/ the most interesting architecture design. Particularly enjoy the lively atmosphere when taking the stairs and observing what others do- be they stay indoors or not. It fully mirrors the youthful spirit of Thailand. Truly love it !!

A great common space for food, drinks and hangouts. There is a good variety of curated vendors and quite the crowd. Go earlier or later dinner hours to avoid the rush.

Hidden gem in city center where you can grab food/drink and chillax in outdoor space. Few parking available but they seem to have Valet. Fav shops: Roots cafe, Roast restaurant, Guss Damm Good ice-cream shop etc.

A good place with many cafe, bars, restaurants in the compound. They have great stuff with not so low price. I guess this is a place if you want to come for a good gathering with your folks with good money in pocket. I attached one of the receipts I got from a bar there for two of the drinks I had that evening for your reference. Even during working days you would find the place very populated and not so easy to find spot to sit especially if you come in big group like 4-6 pax and more. Not a place cheap to get drunk especially if you have high tolerance to alcohol intale hahaha. Enjoy 🥰

What an awesome inspiring must-visit place in Sukhumvit. The architecture was spectacular and the spirits for the space is even more amazing! Wanted to spend a whole day here! Food was simply great too. Comparatively reasonable for the quality and all in fashion! I ordered salmon and first time to witness the lemon comes in a small net. Chic. 7 stars for me!
