Absolutely loved our lunch at The Bull. I can’t decide what I liked best, the atmosphere, the food or our lovely waiter David. The food was outstanding, baked Camembert was divine, pork and plum bangers and mash spot on and sticky toffee pudding sinful. But what made the experience was David. He was so friendly and funny and attentive, I’ve never felt so welcome in a pub. He kept us laughing with his quips when he brought the food to the table and was always checking if we needed anything else. Thanks for a fabulous meal David - we were only in London for 48 hours and you made the meal a great experience for us.

Literally one of the best pubs in south London. The girls who run the place are so inviting and fun and that’s reflected across the whole team who are attentive and look like they enjoy working there. The food is always cooked to such a high standard. Lots of fire places spotted around the pub (indoors and out!), good food options, outdoor seating and great music! It really is a home away from home! Also veggie & dog friendly so we don’t have to leave anyone behind. Love love love this place ❤️🥂🎉

The Bull on Streatham High Road is a bright spacious and friendly offering courtesy of Young's. The beer as expected is excellent with offerings both from cask and keg. A huge well fitted garden and an opulent dining area also add to the experience. There are many future drink connoisseurs playing and running around on my visit so maybe not for all, ok though if you don't mind a bit of young noise and you can avoid treading on them. A lovely place for a beer.

Delishious food, nice atmosphere and really great service both from the app and the staff within the pub - very attentive. They apogised if drinks took a little bit longer to arrive but were usually within five minutes of being ordered. We will return :) Sausage roll, beef burger, mussels, chips, fries and brownie are all favourites. Ham hock terrine & pear salad were okay but quite salty on my last visit.

Me and my partner was greeted with smile. Had a nice little table near the bar. The atmosphere was lovely I ordered the chicken and my other half the pork. Everything was just beautiful from presentation to the flavours. We both smiled and was so happy to come here. Definitely will be coming back ☺️

Hubby and I went for dinner last night. We went a couple months back but forgot to do a review. Yesterday once again the food was lovely, very nice and clean, atmosphere lovely and food was delicious. I thought we had a bit too much gravy but it was perfect. I don't eat meat or fish so was very happy they had food to choose on the menu. It was full of flavour and plenty of it too. We shared a dessert, apple and raspberry crumble with ice cream that was delicious too. All in all a lovely evening.

Good food, great portion sizes for most dishes, mac n cheese lacked a little flavour, could have done with a second ball of mozzarella in the starters and I think that this place is slightly overpriced. Really nice overall ambience and would love to try the outdoor seating in the summer. We will definitely return.

Great service, very cosy and good Sunday roast. Impressive Yorkshire pudding game! Would recommend they make a genuine gravy with the meat juices and roux rather than instant.

Nicely decorated well maintained pub very spacious eating area. It's clean it wasn't to crowded when we went. Food was well presented and taste good, slightly over price. Staff are helpful and friendly nice atmosphere. 😊 It had a large beer garden outside very pretty. If you in the area or want a bite to eat pop in it worth it. I have been here a few times I guess I like it. Parking on the side street.

Only 3 star for atmosphere as the restaurant is so lovely it needs background music only not loud music. It was turned down a little when I asked but still feel the volume does not contribute to the surroundings. Ate indoors but outside seating area is huge and looks lovely for Christmas

I booked The Bull for my Mums wake and was really glad I did. They just did it really well. Staff were brilliant. They did a mix of sandwiches and hot food which were delicious. Very impressed also with the Guinness. Thank you. I enjoyed the pub when it was the Pied Bull but you've done a great job with it and will be back.

I am only giving 3 star because for the prices they charge, service should be impeccable and it is not. We had literally to catch the attention of the staff for everything, even paying. The dining room is pretty dark, too dark. Food was good. Beer is extremely expensive, more expensive than pubs centrally located.

My favourite pub in south London. I used to live around the corner and frankly miss it now everyday. During the winter there’s a fire on outside in one of the cozy pods, plenty of heaters, and blankets provided. In summer it’s difficult to walk past that beer garden with a mate and not accidentally pop in and accidentally sit there for the afternoon and accidentally sip through a bottle of pale rose. The people that work here are SO lovely. The wine glasses are the nice long skinny ones. I’ve had a couple of roasts here in my time too. That 3 meat roast is impressive and a pretty decent price for the amount you get. The beef one was still really tasty but felt like it had been under a hot plate for a while. Extra gravy was served for free upon request, and once again I left a happy customer.

It's not easy for a pub or restaurant to pull off Christmas Day...but I have to say, The Bull absolutely nailed it. We were greeted by friendly, enthusiastic staff, who got us seated and settled, then swiftly brought drinks to our table. The service was seamless and the food was absolutely delicious. Nice work everyone, we'll be back next year!

The chicken roast was absolutely amazing and very generous in size. If like me you also like the vegs part of the roast you won't be disappointed (no frozen bag of cauliflower/broccoli/carrot in sight!). My only criticism would be there was not enough gravy- the yorkshire pudding and stuffing balls were quite dry in the end.

Sunday lunch for 9 - burgers/roasts/fish and chips / child's meal - puddings, booze - ages between 10 and 77. Nothing but good - pub was very busy - food was served quickly and smoothly (all together)Food was good - atmosphere was lovely - service was superb. The staff indulged us without patronising. Great stuff. They didn't charge for the previous visits undercharge of an Eaton Mess - couple of hours to forget yourself - well done.

All the staff I met were really friendly and welcoming. They didn't have the wine available that my wife normally drinks and so offered a tiny taster of a couple of others for her to try before making her choice which I thought was so thoughtful. As the night went on ordered more drinks from the tables outside and food which was brought to us hot and fresh and tasted amazing. Definitely deserving of the 5 stars and definitely worth a visit. We will definitely be returning again soon. Well done to all at The Bull for making the venue so welcoming.

The best pub I have found in the vicinity. Excellent range of beers, especially Young's, a lovely spacious garden and attractive indoor area. The service was good-humoured, friendly and efficient. We didn't eat this time but my companion says that the food is good too.

Really nice outdoor garden. This place has vastly improved over the years. It has lots of outdoor seating some covered and some in the open which is great. The covered seating booths also have timer heaters which is a noce feature. Drinks are ok, cocktails were hit and miss. Also really appreciate that they are open on Mondays. And daving thest till last, you can actually get a fantastic sunday roast in Streatham common!

Lucky to have the Bull as our local pub. Warm and friendly staff, food has always been good but seems to have got even better over the last few months. Would love to see more gluten free options on the kids menu e.g. gluten free sausages or pasta

Service was super efficient, but with ordering through the app, I can’t help but miss the human contact of a waitron. Especially after living the deliveroo life for so long. Burgers were a bit rarer than the normal pink, so we needed to send them back. The chips were amazing, would definitely swop out the fries for them. Desserts were good, but nothing special.

The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a good atmosphere inside. However it needs a refurbishment and new furniture. Especially all those shabby looking chairs. The beer garden is for smokers only effectively. The Sunday Roast is dreadful. You get a plate filled up with a huge flavourless yorkshire pudding and very little potatoes and veg. The beef is horrific. Couldn't cut it with the knife, tried chewing it but had to spit it out. Couldn't chew it enough to swallow it. It was all fat and gristle. The price was higher than most pub Sunday roasts but I wouldn't mind that if it was value for money. Additionally we were packed in like sardines in a tin. No covid precautions in this pub!

Lack of parking outside can make it tricky. On my visit, I joined a party of three for a dinner reservation. The table service wasn't great. The vegan option had sold out. So if you are vegan, phone ahead to confirm. As the options are very limited. I had the burger with fries and onion rings. I must say I had difficulty finding the onions, it was all crispy batter. The burger wasn't to my liking, it was felt and treated cheap. So I left half of it along with the batter. Bar service was a little slow, which is surprising as the pub wasn't that busy. When I returned home later that evening, I was sick, I also had stomach cramps for two days accompanied by diarrhea. I can say for sure it was the food at the pub that made me sick, but I was fine before I ate there. For this reason, I can't recommended this as a nice place to eat. I will not be returning either.

Excellent service from our server Niki who was friendly, efficient and kept us informed when there was a delay as the kitchen was super busy. We really appreciated being kept informed and Niki managed it so well. Food was good too, generous portions of roasts. The vegetarian Wellington dishes received compliments from my daughter and her boyfriend. Great Sunday lunch experience all round.

We had a lovely meal but the service was appalling. I didn’t get the name of the waitress but she has long blonde curly hair with blue eyes and speaks Spanish & English. Me and my partner wanted to order a Fraser salad with our mains to share. She had the audacity to exclaim that “that is an awful lot of food.” She then proceeded to take a chair, sit down next to us and tell us step by step what we should order. She was talking to us like we were children. If it wasn’t for my parent cooking me down I would have got up and walked out. No one should tell someone how to eat and especially when we are your customers in a restaurant that is made to EAT. I was appalled and believe she is in the wrong field of work. When I go back I will be requesting another waiter if she is there.
