Simply an bad experience. The place is dirty and they are not very service oriented! We arrived and got escorted to a cleaned table that seats and table were soaking wet still from being wiped down. Then still lying on floor and under table were dirty old napkins and used masks. So gross. But they just kept walking over then. Then as we get our water they advise us at 845pm that they close at 9pm and last calls right away so we had to order starters, main and dessert all at once and it would come all at once. Food was mediocre! Dessert cold fudge cookie 🍪 with hardly any fudge was terrible and BEWARE anything you substitute or order extra will be charged. Almost $11 of little extra charges appeared on bill. Not a great evening for us and we won’t be back!!!

Came to this location yesterday after phoning to see if they are still open due to heat (they said yes) we went there and paid for the $8.50 parking for the restaurant. We walked up the stairs and they were kicking people out and turning people away saying that the air conditioner was broken even though it was blasting. We came again today and had good service by our waitress, but she was the only person working so it seemed like it was a bit slow. we asked about being reimbursed for the parking and explained the situation yesterday and the manager came out. He was rude and said "we never reimburse parking ever" and didn't even try to offer any kind of discount or apology. On a side note.. We had a nice view of bird poo stained glass. Never returning to this location, very disappointed.

We came on a Thursday night and half the tables were empty. We got the red tavern double, pineapple upside down cake shake, haystack tavern double with yam fries and keep it simple beef with onion rings. The red tavern double was the best burger out of the three. The keep it simple beef was dry and somewhat sad tasting. You put the onions and lettuce in yourself but it was lacking sauce. The onion rings were okay. Very crispy but missing that crunch that you could get from onion rings. It's nice that they weren't overly oily. The haystack burger was better than the keep it simple but not as good as the red tavern double. The yam fries were nice and crispy but the best side were the regular fries that they come with. Those were super crispy and fluffy on the inside. The pineapple shake had very little pineapple flavour and way too much whipping cream. Would not get it again. Overall: the service was good and fast. Get the red tavern burger with regular fries. If you are going to get a milkshake stick to the basics.

Red Robin is always my go to when I am craving for good burger. The burger are delicious, reasonably price, the service is good, the space is quite big and spacious and the best thing about Red Robin is their unlimited French fries. So far, this is the best French fries, thick and perfectly seasoned. Will definitely come back again for any burger craving. In my last visit, I ordered the Smashed Avocado and Bacon

I had a craving for Red Robin's Steak Fries, so seeing this location off of Robson Street, I made my way up the stairs. It took a while to get my takeout order of Steak Fries. It was hot and fresh. I requested extra crispy, which the chefs complied. The fries were exactly how I remembered them to be. They even gave me extra packets of Red Robin Spices.

We visited Red Robin on a busy Friday evening around 6-7 p.m. Although we were seated right away, we had to wait 10-15 minutes for someone to take our orders due to the rush. The servers were quite busy, and a supervisor had to step in. We ordered the mushroom burger, which we found really good, while I also tried the black and blue burger, and the patty in that was a bit dry. The highlight was the unlimited bottomless fries, chips, or salad. Overall, it was an okay experience.

Had never been to a Red Robin before. But just happened to be walking by. We didn't have a lot of time for lunch and explained that to the staff and they were super helpful and had our food our really fast. Great second floor restaurant looking out into a nice shopping district of Vancouver. Oh and the food??? Amazing the burgers were damn good. And huge!! Will go back for sure some time. Thank you

Visited Mar 2, 2022 The restaurant was empty when we arrived however it started to get busy afterwards. The food was delicious, they had unlimited refills on select sides which made it appealing to eat. Very much a old school diner style. It was a unique experience. Our server was thorough and even tried to make a joke with us. The seats weren’t the greatest as I could feel the person behind me kept moving making it uncomfortable for myself. The portion size was good and decently priced. The washroom was not the greatest it lacked upkeep more then just a cleaning. Overall 3/5 rating

Family-friendly restaurant with great selection of great-tasting burgers, bottomless drinks & and sides! I visit at least once a year on my birthday month for the free birthday burger. You just gotta spend a minimum of $5 to get a free burger. Staff is friendly, the place is great for both small & large groups.

Red Robin. The place makes itself look great, but unfortunately I cannot quite say the same for the food. I liked the servers though, they were cool. I got the Pig Out Tavern Burger with Yukon chips. The burger was really nothing special at all. It was as average as average could be. Don't get me started on the Yukon chips. I might as well toss some Ruffles chips into the oven for a little while, that's basically how lackluster they are. The strawberry milkshake was alright as well. Just average. Given our city and the number of places we could go to for burgers (e.g. Frying Pan, Downlow, Wakwak, and so on), Red Robin is just not a competitor in the burger scene at all. It's a fun place to go out with your friends given the unlimited sides, but the burgers and food are just average. As average can be.

Had lunch here on a Friday! Service was prompt when our order was taken and the food was brought out. The burgers were tasty and the Sautéed Shroom is a return favourite (nothing beats the swiss cheese and mushroom combo). Unfortunately, the service declined after we received our food, and it's possible our waiter was occupied with a larger group. He offered to bring us extra fries, but they came much, much later, and it looked like he forgot. It was the same with our coffee - we missed out on a pot brewing, so had to wait for the next one. 4 stars for the food but 3 stars for experience due to the service.

While our server was lovely, it didn’t change the fact that the food we were served was absolutely awful. I haven’t visited Red Robin since the early 2000s and I’m now remembering why. My partner ordered the mushroom burger and I ordered the buzzard style clucks and fries. Both meals arrived, lukewarm and visibly dry, and it was clear they had sat under heat lamps for a while before being brought to the table despite the restaurant being almost empty. It’s great that they offer bottomless fries, but our server didn’t check in on us once to see if we wanted more—which we both did. Unfortunately, we were going to see a movie after our meal so we couldn’t wait around any longer to request fresh food or additional fries. Because we always want sweet food after a meal, we decided to give the cinnamon sugar coated “doughnuts” a try and were once again disappointed. There was hardly any sugar on them and they were also lukewarm. Absolutely will not return and can’t recommend it to anyone. The location is great, but it’s not worth popping in even for a quick bite.

Bathrooms are absolutely disgusting and smell like urine. Carpets are filthy with food crumbs. Tables haven’t been cleared since we got here. A table beside us is being used as a trash bin. It’s disgusting Half the menu isn’t available. I’m not sure if it’s changed hands but it’s taken a turn for the worst.

Throwback to the 90s.but still one of the best burger place in my opinion. The atmosphere is a little nostalgic for me as I went to this place a lot in high school and college. I haven't been back for the longest time. My friend just celebrated her birthday and wanted to eat there. I ordered the whisky bbq burger with steak fries. Delicious. My boy ordered the kids cheeseburger. Good stuff. The service was really friendly and helpful. I recommend coming here.

Best place for birthdays!! This place was on visit list for long. Super friendly service as we changed our seats multiple times for the view and they accommodated our requests. Kids ordered and did not like a drink and they were willing to give a new drink and not charge the other one. Every item ordered tasted amazing with large portion size that it was difficult to finish. Restaurant ambience and lighting is great to click pics.

Came back after a terrible experience at the restaurant and from customer service head office. Service was good from our waiter. All the sweet potatoes fries ordered as sides for the burgers were cold to the touch. It was a party of 8. Our server had brought out fries earlier to munch on while we waited so cold ones were pretty much not eaten. I don't blame the waiter for this. Can't believe the kitchen would send out cold fries.

What can I say about red robin, if you got a burger craving I recommend hitting up your nearest red robin, and with the bottomless fries it's a huge plus. I had try their bacon cheese burger which you dunk it in a bacon cheese sauce. It was good but which I wish the cheese dip was more creamy and think. What makes red robin stands out is their Lettuce warp option, the way they warp it up is probably the best in the business. I don't do it anymore but when I was training hard it was my go to. Service was good, atmosphere is very classic red robin, but the parking sucks (downtown vancouver).

The staff were extremely friendly with a great view from the second floor. You can sit inside or outside. The food was wonderful. We enjoyed the donut stack with fudge and caramel. The sides are bottomless.

Good gourmet burger is a lot juicier than my photo and delicious. Have your 🍔 with Poutine, a perfect match. Window seat is great to watch the world go by below. Draft hazy pale ale is recommended . I will definitely return.

Best burgers around! I miss this restaurant, it was my family’s “go to” place growing up. Since they aren’t in my family’s city anymore, I had to stop by while on vacation in Van. Been thinking about their bacon cheeseburger and bottomless fries 🤤. Thanks to Tanner; for making our visit so epic! Really great server, and fun to chat up! Make sure to tip him good if you get him! He’s an artist in the art of acting, so let’s support him! 🤓 Never know, he might just be our next Ryan Reynolds.

Service was excellent and the food was good, staff did well. The owners need to invest in fixing this place up and properly training and staffing. This place is disgustingly filthy in every area, I can only imagine the state of the kitchen. The tables were sticky and full of food, there were stains and crumbs literally everywhere. I witnessed staff swipe twice over a table after someone ate and then sat another couple ontop of the dirt, I was revolted. It's also very old, same flooding and chairs and decor as the last 15 years. The chairs and cushions were ripped and there wasn't a single area that wasn't worn or dirty. Don't even get me started in the smell and sticky floors inside the elevator. Owners, please, invest in your business. Your staff deserve better.

I like Red Robins. It’s a good place. Ordered their Earl Grey tea and it was delicious with the honey and cream 2 stars is for the salad 3 things good about the salad: 1. Raspberry vinaigrette 2.Hard boiled egg 3. Croutons Sorry Red Robins, but the other ingredients you served in this salad had obvious imperfections that I could not eat. I ended up eating some of my friends food: Popcorn shrimp. (I will order this next time I come here).

Excellent service, the burgers were delicious, as well as the fries. You can order as many fries as you want, and the drinks were super fresh. The person who attended us was very charismatic and friendly. I recommend it

Tl;Dr Food was great. The service was decent. But the overall experience is very bad. I've basically been like an ambassador for them within my friends and colleagues.. advertising that they have good burger and also a nice birthday perk. This year, they changed their birthday perk rules, which I can understand.. they used to just give out birthday burgers, no rules, no question ask, which is great for consumer but bad for business.. this year, they added some rules which makes sense to me. They added a minimum spend and a rule to dine in only. It makes sense if only either of these are true because it promotes spending.. but both of them to be enforced at the same time is just dumb imho.. when they already required minimum spending, why force people to dine in? What's stopping the customer from taking 1 bite and then wanting to pack the rest? I just feel this is a very dumb rule especially if you already got the customer to spend.. it just makes the overall experience very bad.

We ordered the Royal Red Robin Burger and Madlove Burger. Tasty burgers with generous portion. Good service. We also had the Oreo Cookie Magic milkshake and Freckled lemonade. Milkshake comes with a refill. You will surely leave the restaurant with a full stomach!

Great food and ambiance. Really, their food portions are great and d kids really enjoyed their meal. If I had to be really picky...I wished the spicy level of their food was a bit higher....I didn't get much of a pepper taste but generally.....it is totally not a bad place at all. Great prices, good food....joy!!

My favorite downtown Vancouver guilty pleasure! The burgers are a bit on the pricey side, but being a longtime member of their Royalty rewards program is definitely worth it. I especially look forward to my free birthday burger every year. Their bottomless sides are especially great if you need to kill some time while downtown... might as well have a great burger as well! I also love they now let you get a salad as well as bottomless fries. I usually ask for a window seat during winter or sit on the patio during summer. Definitely one of my happy places.

It was memorable more for the fact we don't have any locations in Edmonton left. I always love their freckled strawberry lemonade 😋 and the burgers are so big it's very filling and enjoyable. The lady who served us was nice and everything came quickly. The lack of star would just be for how uncoordinated the uniforms and staff seemed, which is to be expected with young staff I suppose.

  • 4/5 William L. 2 years ago on Google
Service was ok, but server didn't bring our starter table fries that I asked for as we all had bottomless fried on our orders but that's just nitpicking. He was fine and the orders came reasonably quickly. Server did catch us at a good time for refills. Food good but nothing special the usually bottomless fries and pop. My burger was good and fries were not under fried so that's good. They were sold out of the tower of onion rings, so that was disappointing, but I guess that's probably supply chain issues due to COVID. Lighting dim in general ("intimate" if spinning it positively) but light over our table was out. We didn't notice until taking food photos.

Reds is reds. Ive worked one out if van before so safe to say I love their food but I also know they're extensive 5 days if training. I don't think my server really followed training lol. I finished telling him what burger I wanted and he just left without asking about sides and I didn't specify which if the like 6+ sides. I wanted so I ended up with their classic fries. Also not very friendly just that greatest me but great one when I was leaving. And I hadn't been to red in 6 months b that was a different location, but no one told me u had to scan the menu so sat there for a few minutes before I realized myself. I also mentioned how I had a coupon through the rewards program a couple times for him to never ask for my rewards number/give me my discount. I just wanted to treat myself to a nicer lunch between classes but left feeling a little underwhelmed by the experience compared to the other 2 I worked/had been serves at in the past. Other than that same good food as always just no the best experience esp when you know how much work goes into training a serve on how to treat customer/what to di at every table.

  • 3/5 Shadi A. 2 years ago on Google
The good: Food and drinks are good. Portions are big. The onion rings tower is great The waitress was awsome The bad: The light bulb over the table was not working. The ugly: The restaurant has an overpowering funny smell like some kind of cleaning solution drying on old fealthy cloths . The carpeting looked old, possibly contributing to the smell.

Got a couple drinks and drinks. Customer service was excellent, they made us feel welcomed at the door. The view from the dining room is great, we were able to see the busy streets of Thurlow and Robson at night!

Came in for a quick beer with a bigger group before karaoke, it was pretty busy and our server was top notch. Didn't get her name but she was able to get us in and out quick, also managing to bring the entire table a weird shot drink that a friend had requested. Great service.

Great selection of burgers. A fun family-friendly place to eat. Kids will love the unlimited fries. Blended drinks were as expected, cold and sweet. Server Ryan was attentive and helpful.

Burgers are super delicious, and so is there Mac and cheese. Had a Caesar chicken wrap and it was pretty dry, had to pay for extra Caesar sauce. Tito's chill tasted like a milkshake, yummy and dangerous. Long island iced tea was quite strong, so some may like it (not my cup of tea, teahee). Staff was friendly and accommodating, restaurant was good with barriers and spacing during COVID. Patio area was nice as well. Ended up going twice in two days!

This place is a blast from the past for me. Nostalgia at its finest. I remember coming here with my grandparents as a kid (not this location but Red Robin in general). To my surprise the prices were beyond fair and the food quality was great. It wasn’t overly crowded which was nice. It’s a cool spot located upstairs of the building. The place has some great views of Robson and Thurlow where one can sit and people watch while eating a meal. Service staff was friendly and attentive and the overall cleanliness was up to par. Sad I didn’t get an onion ring tower!

  • 2/5 Tara J. 2 years ago on Google
I used to really like Red Robin's food and atmosphere but last night's experience was so bad that I doubt I'd have the appetite to eat out again! 30 minutes to get a table 6 minutes standing by the table waiting for napkins to dry the chairs (sprayed wet) 10 minutes to order 30 minutes for the wrong order 20 minutes for the correction AND the burger came with a special secret ingredient a marinated dark coarse short curly hair in the middle and I was only lucky enough to discover the perfect bite-size strand because I had cut the burger in half. The server informed the manager who said : "so you found a hair in your burger?" saw the hair and said "ok we'll take care of the bill for tonight" But the cherry on top of the icing was his explanation. : "it doesn't happen very often but it does happen" While I truly appreciate his honesty, I lost my appetite and won't get it back thinking pubic hair in food "does happen" PS. -The washrooms were filthy: -sinks were slow draining -garbage cans were overfilled. - Understaffed - unprofessional staff
