Bar Corso is a great spot for drinks and nibbles on the drive. Our server was excellent and friendly, and the vibe of the space is really cool. The cocktails were the highlight and paired well with the food options. I’ll definitely be back, especially for a winter bar evening.

A great place for cocktails and small bites. The cocktails were very creative (the Negroni menu was super cool) and the food was unreal. We sat outside on the street patio but the interior was very trendy and modern. We highly recommend getting the Salumi board, everything on there was really good.

How have i not been here before! The food was unbelievable. We had the warm olives (best ive ever had), scallop crudo, and crab risotto. Everything was phenomenal. Service was great. We'll be back very soon!

We came in on an evening visit and I was delightfully surprised at the quality and aesthetic of the food that came out. Fine dining offerings in a social pub like setting - like getting the best of both worlds. It does get pretty busy and crowded in there. But it's well worth it

Came in for a drink after work. We got here a little late so could not sample the food. The drinks were great and the service excellent. They made room for me and the Mrs at the bar. Definitely will be back to try the food menu! Edit. We finally made it back to try the food menu. It happened to be our 29th Anniversary and we were taking a stroll on Commercial. We started with a couple of drinks. Ananas Negroni and Amalfi sour were yummy . The sour was so refreshing! A must try. We then had some crostinis. The tuna and wagyu beef were both so tasty. The Hokkaido scallops were served over some pickled vegetables. It was good and also refreshing. The shrimp pasta was our favorite dish of the night. Perfectly cooked noodles. I also ordered bison. Perfectly cooked and the sauce was amazing. La Radice Dell’estate was a yummy pineapple rum cocktail. We also tried the Hanami and Burnside Avenue. All went down so smoothly. We ended the night with Semifreddo. A perfect dessert to end our Anniversary evening. Our server was excellent and made many good drink recommendations. We left full and satisfied. Bar Corso is definitely a go to spot on Commercial Drive!

Terrible terrible service! It is a shame that the food and cocktails are both good but my friend and I are never going back there. We arrived there at 6:30 with a reservation. No one told us that there was going to be a time limit for our stay. What they did instead was coming to our table every few minutes (different servers) to ask if we were done. One male server even said to us ' I have been observing you and you guys were not picking at your food so I am gonna take the plates away ' and he did! My friend and I looked at each other and couldn't believe what we just heard. Then that was not the end of it, another girl came in and told us we had 20 mins when we still had drinks on our way. Then another one came and told us we had 7 mins. It is not our responsibility if they had made another reservation 1.5 hours after us. We could have turned around and left if we knew we only had 1.5 hours. But were we informed of that at any point? absolutely no! We asked to speak to the manager but none was around. Absolutely terrible service through and through.

I liked the atmosphere. Solid cocktails and a nice busy place to come for drinks and food. Had the burrata salad, the scallops and the carbonara. Presentation was nice but the salad was overdressed, dressing too thick and punchy/acidic. Scallops were fresh but the plate had a bit too much going on and the squid ink base was too salty. Carbonara very rich - perhaps too rich and also a bit too salty.

Came here for dinner with my boyfriend and it was awesome. we had never been here before but my bf found it and decided to make a reso for us :) the food was awesome .. we got the wagyu tartare and albacore tuna crostinis to start and were blown away!! we then got the pomodoro and carpaccio (not pictured because we just had to eat it right away) which were both so amazing. i’m definitely a tomato girl so i really loved the tomatoes in both the dishes. we also got the pasta del giorno which was a bolognese with pine mushroom (we went on a friday) the drinks we got were great too, and we finished off with a grappa flights which was definitely a choice considering i work tomorrow and my bf is going on a hike but it was still great!!! our server bryden (brayden? brian? sorry it was a little loud and the grappa was hitting.) was awesome and super fun the whole time too. all the servers were very helpful though and i loved all their vibes. the music was awesome too! definitely check this place out!!

'A modern slice of Italy on Commercial drive. A fantastic cocktail and wine selection. The food is incredible and the ambiance is perfect for all occasions, especially late night. •BISONTE - Bison striploin, medium rare, turnip & parmesan puree, balsamic jus & crispy rosemary. •INSALATA - Varieties of radicchio from cropthorne farms, apple, spiced ricotta, mint & pistachio. •CARPACCIO - Hiro waygu beef, lacto-fermented cherry tomato, parmesan reggiano.

This place is perfect for a leisurely afternoon of enjoying drinks and indulging in appetizers, especially during their happy hour. I particularly loved their crostini, especially the wagyu beef tartar crostino, perfectly complemented the drinking experience.

Hands down the best atmosphere I have ever experienced in a bar! From the gorgeous shelves lined with liquors (with a wide array of grappas and amaros to choose from), to the dimly lit bar and two seater booths perfect for dates. Bar Corso is possibly my new favorite bar in town, and for sure my favorite bar on the drive. The "GREGGORIO VITTORIO" is the best cocktail I've had this side of the new year, highly suggest it if you enjoy anything whiskey or smoked.

A little slice of Italy on Commercial drive. Fantastic negroni and wine selection. The espresso negroni is a much try. Food is made to share and the ambiance is perfect for a late summer night.

We were seated outside because there were no seats available inside. Its a very intimate setting inside based on what we saw. The cocktails were tasty, but their drink menu is very pricey in comparison to other restaurants and bars along Commercial.

The Happy hour here is pretty solid. The cocktails were done really well and the crostino were so tasty. Definitely would come back again.

Cozy, classy, and full of amazing handcrafted drinks. Staff are super accommodating and always happy to recommend a tasty snack to pair with whatever your drinking. My go to on a rainy Vancouver evening.

Bar Corso has a small but tight menu that they serve up in a cozy and intimate restaurant space plus a sidewalk patio space (when weather permits). I am particularly enamoured with the cocktail selection at Bar Corso. All their cocktails are served as doubles and their Negronis are 3 ozs. The Ananas Negroni is a personal favourite and features el jimador tequila, pineapple infused campari, sweet vermouth. It is very well balanced and smooth. The single large ice cube is a nice touch. The Salumi e Formaggi Alla Corso is Bar Corso’s take on a charcuterie board and it features a selection of imported meats and cheeses, house preserves, crostini, crackers. There was a large selection of house made pickles and 3 meats and 3 cheeses. It was a gorgeous platter and the perfect accompaniment for our cocktails. Overall, a nice neighbourhood spot for solid eats and cocktails.

First time dinning at Corso. We were not interested in drinks but their unique menu for dinner. The bread with olive oil and vinegar dip, the duck, the rabbit and fresh salad were all very yummy. Seatings are comfortable with good vibe. Recommend if you enjoy European food.

Ummmm definitely in my top 10 restos in Vancouver after our meal here. We loved and enjoyed every single dish. If I had to complain it would just be that I wanted more of everything! Keep in mind this is very much "share plates" style. The corn ravioli highlighted the sweet corn so well. Perfect place for a date night! Can't recommend it enough. Edit: went back a 2nd time and it was still just as good. The semifreddo flavour changed but also delicious. New fave place.

Interesting and unique concept, focusing on Italian drinks and snack. The happy hour is good deal if you love Italian cocktails such as Apero Spritz and Neogrini. The normal hour is on the high price side. They seem to always understaffed, very hard to get attention and help from the staffs. Worth to check it out once if you are looking for something new.
