Arts and crafts market. It was a 20 minute walk from our hotel, Club Kawana. Good place to buy locally made souvenirs and support local artists.

(Translated by Google) This street market is near the terminus of the panorama bus. It's quite big and offers all kinds of craftsmanship in really good quality. You can find souvenirs, CDs and DVDs with current music typical of the country, handbags, purses, leather flip-flops, beach dresses, jewelry and much more. In the middle is a nice little snack bar with lots of seating. As far as I can tell this is the best street market in Varadero with good prices.

Do not buy painting or art because once you get to the varadero airport you will have to pay export taxes as they are called for a stamp or your paintings will be seized, something the sellers will never tell you. Further buy no shells, you get them taken as soon as you return home at the airport by customs officials. Be careful what you buy and how much you pay.

Can get tourist souvenirs for cheap, although we did have one guy overcharge us after burning our names into leather items. Live and learn. Also had restaurant workers come and try to lure us to their restaurants. Did have an excellent lunch at one place.

(Translated by Google) Nice market with many souvenirs some handmade at prices in line with other Cuban places. This market is located near the bar / club of the beatles and at calle 62. It can be reached by coco-taxi or on foot from some resorts overlooking the sea. For those who stay in Varadero for whole weeks and do not make excursions, this could be a pleasant discovery to observe the Cuban reality from another subjective (Original) Bel mercatino con tanti souvenir alcuni fatti a mano a prezzi in linea con altri posti cubani.

(Translated by Google) Large market with Cuban souvenirs. Products made of wood, leather, paintings, CDs with Cuban music. Many sellers speak Russian. (Translated by Google) Nice dealer, not pushy but friendly and open. Surprise that the "handmade" souvenirs are suddenly offered at several stands as well - cute knickknacks ... In the middle then also a post office counter, really droll!

Bought 4 pictures. Got to the airport and stopped by customs despite asking for a certificate. When customs unwrapped there were only 2 pictures. So the seller had tricked me. Plus the extra tax had to be paid. a young lad seems really nice. But Don't buy as they are con men.

A very good experience in varadero to explore the town and buying local artisans. It is a good spot to purchase stuffs for home and as gifts. Prices are reasonable and they accept usd, cad, euro, peso, etc. You can find wooden artisans, hats and caps, wallet, purse, statues, foot wares, cigars, decorative stuffs, swim wear, t-shirt, etc. There are also a few good bars, restaurants, cafes close to that area. We started 10 in the morning and all of them were open. You can spend more than 2 hours in the whole downtown area.

VARADERO street market is a typical market for tourist goods. Products are more expensive than in other markets. You can bargain.

(Translated by Google) Very nice market located in the center of the city of Varadero. This market, easily reachable by bus or on foot with a not too long walk if you are already in the city, is on the one hand a must, on the other a place frequented mainly by tourists, and therefore where to find excellent handmade souvenirs, but often the same in different shops.

(Translated by Google) I liked everything. For beginners, it’s not worth taking cigars from sellers for 1 pack)) at least not high quality. Maximum of toilet paper can be))) Even if sellers themselves stick in their pockets, such as a presentation on an especial price list)) and so on)) ) they work like until 18-19. They bought a panama hat for the child from the sun for 5 cookies. The quality is normal. There are a lot of souvenirs for every choice. You don’t take the quality of wooden knives in the form of dragons, and after a day the bottom began to bounce (((checked all so.

A nice little arts and crafts market and the place to go for souvenir shopping. Many interesting items and maybe some handmade by local artisans. Vendors are friendly and prices are reasonable. The same souvenirs are offered at several stands throughout the town.
