👍👍 Amazing little market. If you visit, bring candies or paracetamol etc for the stall holders. We were asked for sweetiest, but didn't know and didn't have any. The stall holders are all very friendly. Especially the man who sells the jewelry at the front right hand stall. Really nice guy. People often mention prices, souvenirs, market, Great, nice, good,

(Translated by Google) In the center of baradero. Countless craft stalls among which those who carve wood predominate. There are some incredible pieces, what happens is that some are very large and difficult to transport when traveling. You have to point to something mad boy. There are beautiful necklaces, ashtrays, wooden boxes to which your name is carved, etc. A picturesque place to visit. (Original) En el centro de baradero . Hay que apuntar a algo mad chico. Hay hermosos collares ceniceros cajas de madera a las que le tallan tu nombre etc. Un lugar pintoresco para visitar.

Cozy local market great for all visitors who want to buy some souvenirs. You have to bargain with the merchants even if you just want to have a beer. The offer is quite wide, so you will definitely have something to choose from. The beach is a short distance away if you want to cool off.

I wish I had bought more. The leather belts were affordable and very high quality. The handmade humidors are great conversation pieces. All made by locals. If you buy art make sure the back is stamped by the artist for export so you can take it past the guy at the airport located just past security. He charged 6 dollars for our his export stamp.

(Translated by Google) Although it seems that the vendors are going to fall on you as if they were sharks, the handicrafts are of very good quality, as are the textiles. (Original) Si bien parece que te van a caer encima los vendedores como si fueran tiburones las artesanías son de muy buena calidad lo mismo q los textiles

Not thrilled about it. Maybe they just didn't have what I was looking for...but after 2 years off I hoped for something better? Prices are higher, probably trying to catch up for covid. If you have no US dollars you have no money at all... 4.50 USD or 7 CAD...still trying to figure out how they count it...

They know you are tourists and they want to sell their stuffs in higher prices, but prices are negotiable. There is not much variety in their products and most of them are similar. But you can find some souvenirs for your loved ones.

Lots of Cuban arts and crafts at very reasonable prices. They know you are tourists and they want to sell their stuffs in higher prices, but prices are negotiable.

Great spot to shop for local souvenirs and handicrafts. Have to negotiate for the price and they accept both USD and CAD.

Largest market in Varadero, worth checking out if you are vacationing here. There is a lot of the same things from vendor to vendor, as in all tourist shops and markets in the area, but price will vary so look around. The people are friendly and nobody is pushing to sell you something so you can browse in peace.

Great place to visit for souvenirs before going home. Prices seem good but some vendors are willing to haggle. That is where I went for my souvenirs

Loved the shopping in this spot. Great people working here. We took a horse and buggy ride to get here and then classic car home. Everyone was friendly, prices were reasonable.

Market is small, they do have merchandise although it's limited. Everything is local goods, and for sure there's always stuff you'll find interesting.

I bought a product and they packed broken. They wrapped very nice with the broken piece covered. The guy in the picture very nice, I lost my package and he gave me some presents for my little daughter. Thanks to him

Lots of Cuban arts and crafts at very reasonable prices. Polite vendors were not too overbearing like some other craft markets.

  • 5/5 Cindy R. 4 years ago on Google
So many unique souvenirs and art

  • 4/5 Rose T. 5 years ago on Google
Great big market. Awesome artists on hand. But I found that at times being polite prevents you from moving to the next vendor, as they will show you everything in their stall if given a chance. If you buy wood or leather goods, you can get your name burnt into it. This market has everything.

Not really a fan of haggling prices, which is important here, so I wasnt a fan of this market. Not all prices are posted either.

  • 5/5 Wilbur A. 7 years ago on Google
Larger market than the others. Lots of selection of different items on sale. Most of our souvenir shopping was done here. All market prices are fairly the same. Bartering is always welcome. Great prices on merchandise in Cuba. Especially hand carved wood products.

My favorite part of Varadero was not the beach, but the awesome street shops filled with interesting knick-knacks and souvenirs
