It seems they forgot us the first morning that we had a tour booked. The owner came with a story of someone who was sick. This would have been really bad if we had not stayed a few days here. The day after we had very nice guy who made a boat trip with us on the Ganga and a tour through the old part of Varanasi.

It feels like walking in a beautiful area but with a lot of people surrounded over there. Otherwise, i like the place Varanasi. It's my birth place. I have a lot of experience in this city. Many more enjoyment over there, the only thing that will irritate you are traffic and dust pollution while going to the ghat. Good place to hangout with friends.

Varanasi alleys appeared baffling until Jeremy (Jai) led us through a route that beautifully rendered itself into a story. His narrative spanned centuries, making the journey no less than time travel. A trip to Varanasi is incomplete without the walk down a few layers of the historic city and exploring the architecture from the eras gone by. Jai curates his trails exceptionally. We took the 'Death & Rebirth in Banaras' tour with him which was fascinating to say the least. I also had the 'Subah-e-Banaras' morning boat ride with Anand and enjoyed thoroughly. He was fantastic and showed me few of the lesser visited heritages of Varanasi including an exclusive visit to the Rooftop of Alamgir Mosque! Thank you Varanasi Walks for the opportunity to understand Varanasi from a different perspective. I will definitely catch up with you guys again in my future visits to this amazing city and would love to explore fur more than what I was able to do this time! Last but not the least a special thanks to Michael (Mike) for his swift responses during our tour planning. The entire process was super easy and extremely efficient.
