Pros: Good doctor, fast, organized. You arrive in the morning and she says at what time you should return. Just don't try to talk anything but appointment hours with the recepcionist and you're golden. Cons: The recepcionist. I can't understand her no matter what language. And when she gets tired of failing to communicate, she just cuts the interaction short. Via phone is even worst. I don't think she likes people. Or life. Or knows what it's like to be loved. Or knows how to deal with humans. Specially vulnerable humans that are sick, and need at least a LITTLE empathy and patience. It's terrifying that someone plain RUDE works in such a position. Edit: She's the opposite of wine and gets worst with time. She knows she's doing a bad job or she wouldn't have that greek eye ornament. She feels the need to protect herself from the bad energy of the people she mistreats. Why change, when everyone else is obviously the problem, amiright? I'll never see Dr. Lemarquand again. Edit: I moved from mtl ans never saw the doctor again bc of the receptionist

A horrible place with very bad and unorganized staff. It is unfortunate that we cannot choose a different clinic as we are tied to our family doctor. I had missed my appointment as they didn’t have my email on file. And they never sent me a confirmation about the time when my appointment was. At the time told me that I do not need to pay the fee for missed appointment ( most likely as their staff was aware that it was their error). Today when I tried to book a new appointment they asked for a fee, without allowing me to book another appointment unless I pay the feel. This review will do nothing to make their staff more responsible or to increase their attention to detail as they hold the monopoly over our health, but at least I hope to shine some light on the situation, which probably happened to many other people considering that they have 2 star review.

MY ADVICE; DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC! Went to this « drop in » clinic on Wednesday. Was told that I need an appointment. They said I could call to schedule an appointment. I called when I got home. They said that it has to be the same day, please call back in the morning. I called at around 7:15. They took my info. At 11:30, my cough was so bad that I was disturbing and probably infecting my colleagues. Decided to just go to the clinic to sit. The woman at the counter said that I couldn’t sit there because there were tons of people ahead of me and that I would be waiting there all day. Last week a friend called the same clinic at 8 and was seen at 12:00. I wouldn’t normally go to the clinic for a cold or flu (pointless waste of resources). Pretty sure that I have an infection and am contagious. I couldn’t go back to work so I sat in a cafe for about 30 minutes, but I wasn’t feeling well enough to order anything, so I left. I decided to go back to the clinic to again ask if I could just sit there while waiting. The receptionist said yes and that my file was third from the top and that it shouldn’t be long. Update: someone walked in saying that she feels « a bit sick ». She had no appointment. Her Medicare card was taken, she went to McDonald’s, came back and sat behind the counter with the receptionist, had lunch there, joked and laughed for a while, and was seen by a doctor less than 30 minutes later. Update: I have now been waiting more than two hours. Someone who called after me and whose file was near the bottom of the same pile of patient folders as mine was just put ahead of me. I very politely asked the receptionist why she did that. She said that she didn’t. I explained that I had been watching the whole thing taking place and that I was confused as to why she would put someone ahead of me. She continued to deny it, and never looked me in the eye while doing so; she just kept opening mail. I was so frustrated with her attitude that I nearly started to cry. When I finally saw the doctor, he was alarmed and concerned about my state and sent me for a chest X-ray and flagged it as urgent (goes to showing that it may have been a serious condition). The medication that he prescribed seems to be working and I am very glad that I got to see this doctor but the receptionist made being sick an even worse experience than it already was. Because of the receptionist, this was one of the absolute worst medical experiences of my life and I would strongly advise against going to this clinic.

It’s high time the receptionist needs to be replaced with someone who knows how to talk. She is extremely rude and increases your blood pressure She needs to start with learning basic communication skills

I just went to this clinic (this is April 2022) with a rendez-vous. It is very clean and comfortable. The receptionist was actually the nurse. She was extremely professional and efficient. I waited maybe 3 mins before sitting down with her for a full medical history since I’m a new patient. It’s the most thorough history any Quebec clinic has done for me. This clinic uses an online portal where you can sign in to make / cancel appointments, see your medical files, etc. After the history I waited another 3-5 mins for the doctor. I saw Dr. Talarico, who was very friendly and had already read through my files before coming in. She was also very professional and makes herself available outside of clinic hours for contact via telephone. She took time to listen. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I’m a new patient and you never know whether that impacts how you’re initially treated, but I doubt I’ll be treated any differently next time.

Very rude receptionist. She gave me the prescription without any explanation. I asked what is this paper? While she had something in her mouth she said the Doctor wrote this for you! That’s all! She also forgot to give me the second prescription and it was ME who reminded her of the second one! Unbelievable !!!

All it took was one phone call and I understood why it has such a low rating. The receptionist's attitude reflects what has been described. You cannot make an appointment at a future date. You have to call as early as 7AM to make an appointment for the same day. As someone who works during the week, I need to schedule my time so last minute appointments are not feasible.

the Front Desk Receptionist is rude and impolite! - she get worse and worse every day in the last 5 years that I know this place. - She can be replaced with an energetic polite young person that fits to the general culture of the Clinic with nice Doctors. - she can be easily replaced by a Robot because: - you go there, stay in the line and say Hi to her and want appointment. -she scan the medicare card. - she return back your card any say a time (e.g. come 2:30pm) - Don't try to say Thank-you because she is rude and will automatically reply: "WE DON"T CALL YOU".

Incompetent receptionist: lack of basic knowledge on how the medical system works in Quebec and terrible wait time despite it being an "appointment"

Most horrible receptionists, the worst customer service. They refuse to provide you with their names and keep being rude and arrogant, then they put you on hold indefinitely every time you try to make a point. When requesting a supervisor they would say yes, put you on hold indefinitely and then the call ends. They did it several times so obviously that’s their policy on dealing with customers.

I called this morning since 7a.m to 7:53 exactly on May19 2022 finally I got the answer from the reception, she answered me and said it was full and I told her that I am very sick and that why I have been waiting 45 mins online and now it was full. She hang up on me without saying anything. I called her back and I asked her name (she wouldn't give it to me) told her that it is very disrespectful for any patient and no good listener at all. If she doesn't like job, pls give it to someone else loves to work in the clinic. I have been to clinic for more than 10 years but I think it is no longer my expectations and I am sure many people feel the same, they treated us like animals or some sort. Really bad services, if you don't feel it, pls try for yourselves. Have a nice day and good luck.

If you call and dial 3 to make an appointment with a specialist, 99% of the time there is a message that says "to make an appointment with a specialist, you must call between 8-4 monday to friday" and then a busy tone, even when you are calling between 8-4 m-f. I tried option 2 to speak to a receptionist and they told me I just need to try calling over and over. I don't understand why their phone system is set up like this since dialing 2 for the receptionist put me in a queue with hold music for a few minutes before I talked to them, so it's not like they lack the technological capacity to set up a queue for option 3. Note that this review is solely based off their bizarre phone system and not on any experiences at the clinic.

Excellent experience. Yes, the person answering the phones is busy and maybe not so friendly, but I wasn’t calling to make a friend. I needed a medical appointment. Unlike other clinics I phoned, this one actually offered me a next day appointment; the clinic itself was well organized and clean and everyone was super friendly; we were seen almost immediately, the doctor was highly professional and my daughter got the immediate care she needed. I highly recommend this place, especially for urgent appointments.

Bad experience. Was referred here to look as abnormal bleeding and got told "Too bad" when i asked if there was other alternatives besides what was suggested after being looked at and was sent home rudely with no explanation whatsoever on my condition or what to do to treat it. Doctor (old guy) almost started the procedure without asking for my consent first, definitely a massive red flag and I left the clinic distraught.... please don't waste your time here.

If it wasn't for the professional and courteous Doctors, i would never deal with this clinic, especially the one in complexe des jardins. UNPROFESSIONAL and INCOMPETENT ADMINISTRATION and STAFF. They leave all the micromanagement tasks for the doctor to do...they have no concept of "follow-up" on people's requests and if they do, they do it wrongly and blame it on the doctor. It is such a relief that all the consultations are made on the phone for the time being due to covid, as when we could visit the doctors, The receptionist would tell you that your appointment is at griffin Town while your appointment is at complexe des jardins and vice versa. So imagine yourself running towards the other clinic to meet the doctor, and when you get there you're not welcome as you missed your appointment. The administrative sector is very disappointing.

First time it went well on average 1 hour wait. Second time I waited over 1,5 hours. The wifi was crashing so the receptionist sends the doctor to see another patient and I missed my turn so I had to wait another 15 minutes. When I confronted the receptionist she didn’t care and brushed off my complaint. She said it was not her fault, so did the doctor. I guess it’s my fault then and getting a specific time is for show. The qualifications for receptionist we’re met. Good job!

It took 2 hours to see the doctor with an appointment and no bathroom for the girls. I even felt unwell in the clinic... I held on but I had to go to the CHUM emergency room afterwards because the doctor did nothing.

probably the worst clinic in Montreal if not the whole country. Here nobody knows what they are actually doing. My dermatologist spent like 30 seconds, I spoke English with her and she responded in french lol. If you care about your mental health, avoid this place at all costs

Went there for a minor emergency, staff and service was great. I was slightly scared of the bad Google reviews, but it turned out to be a good experience for me. You have to call at 7:30 AM to be able to reserve an emergency spot, I got one on the same day in the morning. The previous day around lunchtime they were all booked up for the day, so just be sure to call early. Doctor was very nice and explained everything clearly. The Rue de la Gauchetiere location is accessible from the Gare Centrale main concourse, super easy to access.

I had a good meeting over the phone with Dr Amanda Knezevic. However, I had a very bad experience trying to get myself tested at the CDL labs at their locations in that they did not update the info on their website or by phone and it showed clinics were open when they were not. I exposed myself to public transport and the Desjardins mall for nothing!

I was unable yo get an appointment with my GP and I was very sick so I went to the clinic yesterday, hoping to see any doctor. I was told that s doctor would see me two hours later. After waiting for three and a half hours, I said I was leaving. The receptionist told me I had to pay a fee, despite the fact I had not seen a doctor or had an X-ray! I finally saw a physician who prescribed medication. However, since the doctor hadn’t signed the prescription, the pharmacist refused to give it to me. The pharmacist called and faxed the clinic but got no response. The whole experience was unacceptable particularly when one is sick.

I am not used to writing Google reviews but clinic and doctor to avoid, does not take care of the health of his patients, Dr Vitiya Pou only has the interest of being billed but an incapacity complete ability to read radiology reports or treat a medical problem. He repeats that he is not an expert, even when the report is explanatory. The clinic had my results for 5 weeks but despite my bi-weekly calls for follow-up the secretary told me that the doctor still had not opened my results, I had to make a follow-up appointment so that the doctor would deign open my result (and be paid) and tell me that he is "not able to read an x-ray report". Don't listen to the medical problem, don't look at previous results or the patient, this doctor should be removed from the medical profession!
