MY
ADVICE;
DO
NOT
GO
TO
THIS
CLINIC!
Went
to
this
« drop
in »
clinic
on
Wednesday.
Was
told
that
I
need
an
appointment.
They
said
I
could
call
to
schedule
an
appointment.
I
called
when
I
got
home.
They
said
that
it
has
to
be
the
same
day,
please
call
back
in
the
morning.
I
called
at
around
7:15.
They
took
my
info.
At
11:30,
my
cough
was
so
bad
that
I
was
disturbing
and
probably
infecting
my
colleagues.
Decided
to
just
go
to
the
clinic
to
sit.
The
woman
at
the
counter
said
that
I
couldn’t
sit
there
because
there
were
tons
of
people
ahead
of
me
and
that
I
would
be
waiting
there
all
day.
Last
week
a
friend
called
the
same
clinic
at
8
and
was
seen
at
12:00.
I
wouldn’t
normally
go
to
the
clinic
for
a
cold
or
flu
(pointless
waste
of
resources).
Pretty
sure
that
I
have
an
infection
and
am
contagious.
I
couldn’t
go
back
to
work
so
I
sat
in
a
cafe
for
about
30
minutes,
but
I
wasn’t
feeling
well
enough
to
order
anything,
so
I
left.
I
decided
to
go
back
to
the
clinic
to
again
ask
if
I
could
just
sit
there
while
waiting.
The
receptionist
said
yes
and
that
my
file
was
third
from
the
top
and
that
it
shouldn’t
be
long.
Update:
someone
walked
in
saying
that
she
feels
« a
bit
sick ».
She
had
no
appointment.
Her
Medicare
card
was
taken,
she
went
to
McDonald’s,
came
back
and
sat
behind
the
counter
with
the
receptionist,
had
lunch
there,
joked
and
laughed
for
a
while,
and
was
seen
by
a
doctor
less
than
30
minutes
later.
Update:
I
have
now
been
waiting
more
than
two
hours.
Someone
who
called
after
me
and
whose
file
was
near
the
bottom
of
the
same
pile
of
patient
folders
as
mine
was
just
put
ahead
of
me.
I
very
politely
asked
the
receptionist
why
she
did
that.
She
said
that
she
didn’t.
I
explained
that
I
had
been
watching
the
whole
thing
taking
place
and
that
I
was
confused
as
to
why
she
would
put
someone
ahead
of
me.
She
continued
to
deny
it,
and
never
looked
me
in
the
eye
while
doing
so;
she
just
kept
opening
mail.
I
was
so
frustrated
with
her
attitude
that
I
nearly
started
to
cry.
When
I
finally
saw
the
doctor,
he
was
alarmed
and
concerned
about
my
state
and
sent
me
for
a
chest
X-ray
and
flagged
it
as
urgent
(goes
to
showing
that
it
may
have
been
a
serious
condition).
The
medication
that
he
prescribed
seems
to
be
working
and
I
am
very
glad
that
I
got
to
see
this
doctor
but
the
receptionist
made
being
sick
an
even
worse
experience
than
it
already
was.
Because
of
the
receptionist,
this
was
one
of
the
absolute
worst
medical
experiences
of
my
life
and
I
would
strongly
advise
against
going
to
this
clinic.
