The steak was amazing. It was so tender! They served wonderful mashed potatoes with it and I could not get enough of them. The best was the service, though. Don't get me wrong; my girlfriend and I savored every bite, but every time we go we get amazing servers. This past time was Daniella (who gave us permission to use her name and picture) and even though it was super busy that night, she was always there for us when we needed her and never intrusive. Seriously this was a 5 out of 5 dining experience!

Had a really good experience. The service was really good, although I believe they were short of staff when we went. Beer menu was decent, pretty standard. Food was really good, although my steak came a little more cooked than I wanted, however; the steak bites that we ordered as starter with fried (shown in the pictures) were perfectly cooked. Service was great, will repeat in the future to see if we can have a better luck this time with the steak.

This place is a whole vibe. Had no issues booking a table and they were all sufficiently spaced apart. The food came at a reasonable time and it was tasty. I wish my fish had a bit more salt/sauce to it but otherwise it was good. What really stood out was the service. We ordered a decent amount of drinks and the staff were very courteous and friendly. We loved that they came to join in on our conversations and even offered us a shot on the house. Would definitely come back to this location.

Called three times over an hour before posted closing time of 1:00AM listed on Google and their corporate web site with no answer. Decided to take a half hour ride to check them out. Arrived at 12:25AM. Fast courteous thinking manager salvaged what could have been my first and last visit by accommodating us 10 minutes beyond kitchen's last call. Ordered a 7 oz. tenderloin with peppercorn sauce, mushrooms, baked potato and Cesar salad. My guest ordered tempura veggies and baked onion soup. The steak had good flavor and was cooked as requested. The mushrooms were good as well. The salad was a bit soggy with some rust visible on the ends of the Romain lettuce. The baked potato was OK on top but hard like a rock on the bottom. I gave these two items a pass since it was the end of the day and these items were probably prepared much earlier on and served at the last minute beyond their normal hours. My guest's tempura veggies and baked onion soup were reportedly excellent. I will return to evaluate other menu items in the future. Second visit. Tempura veggies soaked with oil and steak was dry. Four reduced to two stars.

One of the best restaurants 👌. The service was exceptional. I didn't make any reservation and was seated quickly. Perfect for both a night out with friends and dates. The server was amazing and understanding of my needs. This place is also great for large groups as well. I totally recommend.

We were on our way home to Trenton from the Barrie Airshow and wanted some thing different that we couldn’t get at home! We’d never heard of Chop Steakhouse and decided to give it a shot. Absolutely delicious. The food was amazing and the service was very good. Our server Jessica was extremely attentive, even though she was busy. We will definitely be back and I should mention that - Pink Lemonade drink is easily my new favourite!

Their patio is so nice and we wanted to get a seat there but had to sit inside because it was full. We still had a great experience. The food, drinks and service were all good. We will definitely be back again but reserve a spot in the patio next time!

Went here for our anniversary and the food was delicious. The prime rib roast was perfectly medium rare, fries and tuna were great apps (the dipping sauce for the fries has cilantro in it for those like my husband who think it tastes like soap) and we got a creme brule dessert on the house. Service was great as well. Overall had a great time and would go back.

I went back and forth with myself contemplating if I should write a review or not, but after speaking with a friend about my experience during Fathers Day weekend; I decided to write a review. I can't remember the name of our waitress, but she was very kind to us. I've read reviews about the terrible service, but fortunately our waitress was great. UNFORTUNATELY, the food was TERRIBLE... and by terrible, I mean TERRIBLY SALTY!!! and I mean everything!!!! My boyfriend and I ordered the same meal.... Caesar salad, steak and mashed potatoes. The Caesar Salad was incredibly SALTY!!! Never in my life have I ever had a Caesar that tasted like nothing but pure salt. The mashed potatoes were incredibly SALTY, and last but not least, the steak was THE WORST steak that I've ever had in my entire life! I asked for medium rare, and I received a rare steak, my boyfriend ordered a medium well and he received a medium rare. I can handle a rare steak, BUT again, it tasted like nothing but pure salt!!! This was the first time that my boyfriend and I have went to this restaurant; therefore we opted not to complain to our waitress, and just decided to never go back to this restaurant again. It could've been an "off night" with the Chef, but the food was so underwhelming and intensity salted, that I can't bring myself to go back there. I originally decided to celebrate Father's day weekend based on the reviews, but unfortunately the dinner was disappointing.

As a frequent customer here, I argue that Chop is probably the best steakhouse in Vaughan. The food is always great, fresh and made to perfection! The place is always neat and clean, and service is top-notch and on point! The patio, lounge and dine-in area are all great options, it’s perfect to big groups or a casual dinner or lunch Highly recommended

Love the nice modern high end design of this restaurant that gives the casual cozy vibe. This is my new favourite place for prime rib! It’s so delicious 😋 The thick cut of the meat was cooked perfectly. 🔥🔥🔥 It’s so tender and juicy, the gravy was flavourful but not overly salty. 👍🏼

You can order mini desserts for $6 rather than ordering a full size dessert. Will visit the other location in Toronto for Winterlicious 2024. It is our go- to place for special occasions.

Came to Chop for a work dinner. I loved it. Michael M took care of us and was attentive and hard working. The group shared various appetizers, the crab cakes were gorgeous, but ate a little overdone. The chicken wings were probably the BEST wings I've had in a very long time, they really have those locked down. Their brown butter community bread was also delicious. So the bar was very high going into the Mains. I got a strip with Bernaise and fries. Michael suggested to make it an Oscar which I did and didn't regret it. Everything on the plate was delicious and cooked perfectly. The only thing that I would say is maybe do something with the fries, you put out a banging plate of food and the fries were unremarkable. I'm already planning on coming back to eat again soon. I would and am going to recommend the restaurant to family and friends.

Good quality food and good service. Great atmosphere. Only Con would be that I made reservations, but we were seated on the heated patio outside. Was told it was not cold, but we had to move inside as even with our coats on. It was chilly.

My husband and I just had a fantastic experience at this location. Josie was looking after us, and right from the beginning she was very friendly and helpful with menu suggestions. She is such a gem of a server. The supervisor Luke stopped by to clear our plates and suggested the Pineapple upside down cake that was a personal favourite, but we were skeptical (because we’re picky lol) and opted out. Minutes later he brought one to the table for us because ‘we have to try it’ and we were also celebrating today. It was really good! Such a kind gesture…there’s always room for dessert. The general manager Chris is also a huge delight! We enjoyed meeting all three of them. Fantastic location, fantastic staff, fantastic food. We will always remember this, thank you!! C&D

We had reservation and they write you reminder and wait for you. It was pleasant. The food was delicious( onion soup not the best ) and served at the same time like we ordered. Servant gave us enough attention and at the same time was unvisible. Several different separated zone. Good atmosphere. Great price.

My wife and I just had our wedding anniversary and decided to give Chop steakhouse a try since we've heard good things. It did not disappoint us. Staff were friendly from the start. Food tasted great and portion was good. The ambient was also a unique blend of chic and rustic which was tasteful. Our server Veronica was kind enough to give us a trio mini dessert on the house for our celebration and even got the rest of their team to sign a congratulatory card for us. Great to see this level of care and customer service still exist and is what will bring me back here in the future even if I'm not celebrating any special occasions. A pleasant visit.

This place was amazing! We had an amazing lunch. Our server Julia was beyond awesome! She was super nice and very helpful! Our steaks were outstanding, the chili garlic shrimp app was so good. And lastly, because it was my birthday she brought out a lovely plate with happy birthday on it with cheesecake. I would definitely recommend this place and would come again! Thank you Julia and thank you Chop Steakhouse for the perfect hospitality!

I had the miso tofu salad and that was really yummy. I never thought that I'd say tofu was super flavourful. You could taste every individual item in that salad so it wasn't boring. I really enjoyed the food and service there.

This is my new steak place. Very great New York stake with all the addons. Meal came quickly and, more importantly, correct. The outsides of the steak were seared perfectly; they say 1800 degrees, and you can tell. The insides were just the way I ordered, medium. I will definitely be visiting again this month.

Good food got their appetizers. Their sangria pitcher is so bomb!!! Its not on the menu so you have to ask for it. The servers were also all so nice. Very good service. Overall great atmosphere, food and staff.

Our server was amazing, super attentive and sweet. We came for a birthday celebration. The food was well priced, the steaks were a bit overcooked for what was asked (medium rare and medium). I'd recommend the sauces to accompany the steaks. You get to sub your veggies with a different side which was great.

1/7/2024 - 6:00pm - 7:00pm (Dinner Service) Came into this modern, luxe, and contemporary twist to a steak house. The decor is quite warm and inviting with an intentional choice for each furniture, misc, and design. We were seated promptly at the lounge which was fairly quiet. It was a nice dinner to catch up with my mom. Our server Josiah was kind, personable and timely in his service. I loved how patient he was with my Mom when ordering. When Josiah suggested us food, he did it in such a kind manner without the hint of rushing service! This gesture was well welcomed in a time where hustle and bustle seems to be the norm. I ordered the NY Centre Cut with Cauliflower Rice and Greens, whilst my mother ordered the NY Strip. We found that this CHOPS and the quality of the meat miles better than other CHOPS in the city. Keep it up with the quality of your cuts! The chef did a great job with his sear and seasoning. I prefer my steak on the cooler end and they hit the mark. The cauliflower rice had a tinge of lemon and garnishes that fused the flavours together. Thank you CHOPS Grill, this won't be the last!

Went for a milestone birthday for my Goodfriend. The food, service and atmosphere was great. We love taking pictures and they had some neat places in the restaurant to take em. The food was absolutely delicious. The steaks were juicy. I wasn't a fan of the desserts. Shout out goes to Johnathan our server. He was Fantabulous.

I brought my friend to celebrate their birthday. Loved the ambiance of lighting and comfortable chairs and booths. Service by Alesandro was excellent. He was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and didn't rush us in any way. The food was delicious. Every item on my plate was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The plates are oversized so portions may not look large however they certainly were filling. Looking forward to enjoying another dining experience soon.

Quality : 10/10 Quantity : 10/10 Service : 10/10 I got New York style steak which was on point 👌🏽 My burger was not as juicy as expected the manager was prompt to make sure we were happy by replacing it. P.S. they gave us free shots ! Would definitely come back.

Absolutely great experience eating here. The steaks are cooked spot on to how you like it, and they have some pretty decent appetizers. Had lunch here on Sat March 13. Called in to see if we needed reservations. It is needed in the dining room but patio is first come, first serve. We took a chance and luckily there was patio seating for my husband and I. Patio was enclosed with heaters thank goodness - it was a bit chilly that day! We've been to this location a few times before and this was our first time back since the pandemic started. There are partitions between each booth and tables were a good distance apart from each other. Food was great as always! We had the rib-eye and sir lion with mash potatoes and salad. Service was okay. Had to ask for the salad as it didn't come the same time as the steaks. No biggie. If you can't decide which dessert to go with, the mini trio is the way to go. And it's so good with their coffee. We'll be back!

Great place, been here a few times. Food is always delicious and the staff are always pleasant. J and Mike were serving us this evening and they were wonderful. You can tell it is a team atmosphere, they were all helping each other! Thanks for a great evening.

Had a great experience here. Ambience and hospitality is great. It was my first time here and the attendants made sure it was a pleasant experience. Loved the chicken wings and French Onion soup. Steak was great too.. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a dinner date and spend time with loved ones.

Let's just get this out of the way: I'm a vegetarian. I went to a steakhouse to try an avocado super bowl, and it was the most delicious bowl I've ever had. Everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well!

The staff is super friendly at this location and they were very flexible with our larger party, yet they were not able to manage the bills efficiently. The menu is simple and the food quality is reasonable. They have a significant opportunity with their hot beverages and the quality of coffee can improve.

Came with a couple of friends for late drinks and appetizers which were tasty. Great venue, atmosphere and vibe. Live dj with great music. Indoor and outdoor setting on point. Service was good.

Conveniently located across from the theatre, we stopped by for some appetizers and drinks. The hostess greeted us warmly and we were promptly seated in a large booth in the dining room. The ambiance was nice and our server was great, we never had an empty drink! The food was enjoyable and I would definitely come back for their steak bites.

Went on a Sunday evening. The place was quite full already even though it was a bit early. The ambience/atmosphere is nice and gives the feeling of being at a fancy restaurant. Plenty of seating, with heated patio seating available as well. We ordered two items - one of them was good, but the other - Chop burger was cold. We sent it back but the replacement was cold as well. Ruined the evening for us. As the name suggests, order only the steak. Be careful if you order anything apart from that. Not sure if we will visit again. Even if we do, will most definitely NOT order the burger. Nor will we recommend it to anyone.

I've had the privilege of going here tonight and I must say I had a wonderful experience! My waitress was Jasleen and she offered great customer service! Food was second to none and atmosphere was friendly, warm, and inviting! Highly recommended!

Ambience is nice, their placement/seating of patrons method seems to lack diversity though ;) Smoked Rib-eye was worth it, tried the bone in as well. Drinks were subpar for the price point. Dessert was served with no utensils, took 10 mins until the waitress checked on us, provided them and apologized. Overall it's more location than quality, in my opinion of course.

The vibe here is great! Matt, Kyle, and G took good care of us during our visit. The cocktails were really good especially the smoked old fashioned and the espresso martini. We got a few things to try from the happy hour menu. The steak bites, fries, garlic shrimp, and mushroom dip were all prepared well. They have an enclosed patio with DJ as well. A great spot to hang out with family and friends!

The food here is so great! One of my favorites! I’ve only ever been for lunch, but from my experience, I can tell the dinner is good too! The ambience is really nice too! The chili garlic shrimp is great as well as the flat iron steak and the crusted cod!

I have to say that at Chop I had the best salad I ever tried - avocado power bowl! 5 stars I would give 4.5 for overall experience though. We had tempura vegetableas and they were super aldente. Squash was not cooked till the perfection. Vegetarian burger was very nice! French fries - well done. Mini deserts. Creme Brule was ok. It was more salty than sweet, but flourless chocolate cake - great! Our waiter - absolutely great! / if i am not mistaken her name was Quinsy /. Overall - great place! 👍 I

Klee called in on Valentine’s day (change of plans that we didn’t expect, so very last minute yes), and we’re told there were no tables, yet there were 3 available on open table: we booked and were seated in a timely manner. The waiter, Michael, was very pleasant, well groomed and dressed and presented himself very professionally. We had a dip and escargot to start, they were great (the dip was incredible and I’d recommend it). For our mains, we both ordered steak with a baked potato. My steak was ordered medium and came out medium well. My partner’s was ordered medium rare and came out medium. Not a huge deal. The potato was disappointing. It was hard and dry, as if it hadn’t been cooked enough and also had no butter. I don’t know if this is how they make it, but I couldn’t bring myself to like it. The bacon crumble tasted burnt (and I love a crispy bacon. I actually didn’t think there was such thing as too crispy.. but this lacked taste). They also gave a tiny bag with valentines candy in it at the end. The potato, and steak coming out cooked more than we wanted in 2 instances was disappointing for the price, and it was concerning to watch our food get delivered to the wrong table, have maskless strangers breath and speak over the food to say it isn’t theirs, then have the same food delivered to us (after they had breathed on it). I recognize that people are maskless, and particles can travel, but it is not very reassuring to see your food placed in front of someone else’s face first to watch them speak over it and then have it delivered to you seconds later. I really don’t know what best practice is here, but perhaps it’s just being more attentive so these mistakes don’t happen.
