Went here for my birthday about a month ago, and first, let me talk about the service. The service was top notch! Both our servers were super attentive and willing to indulge us in some friendly conversation. Next, the food was incredible! I had the veal Marsala with roasted potatoes and rapini and I was not expecting the portion that I received - it was big! So much so that I brought it home (then again, we had a lot of appetizers lol). I will definitely be coming back for dinner!

Authentic family run Italian restaurant with delicious food and great service. Must try the grilled calamari (made to perfection) and the saffron risotto. The seafood longing and risotto balls were both excellent 👌 too. Go There. Eat There. LOVE IT THERE!

Restaurant which has an authentic Italian taste. Ambience was rustic, traditional and warm. Trattoria atmosphere, so great if dressed up or down, but most people dress a bit nicer here. Excellent service, well portioned meals at reasonable price. Food is fresh and outstanding. We ordered Medley of mushroom - Insalate and La florentina Pizza. Upon request they swapped eggplant with chicken for additional $5. The wait staff was good to work with and were very accommodating and flexible with the ingredients and catering according to our taste. Yup, it's that kind of a feel good neighborhood restaurant, with way better food. Would recommend this spot to anyone who enjoys authentic Italian food! 👍

A sincere blessed foodie from Montreal, in Toronto every couple of months for business. I enjoyed many great pizzas in this city, but tonight, Mastro Roberto Trattoria Pizzeria took the crown as the undisputed BEST PIZZA in Toronto! Perfectly cooked and perfectly prepared and perfectly presented too! Hat’s off, signori…Mastro Roberto is in a different league…glad I took the short drive from my hotel, instead of calling Pizza Pizza!

Went for a private family function and it was excellent. Penne a la vodka was fantastic. Sauce was like glue to the pasta. Calamari was excellent. Chicken with potatoes and rapini was delicious. I would recommend this place as one of my spots in Woodbridge. Service was fantastic.

This past Sunday May 22 2022, my son celebrated a family event with some 25 plus guests in this establishment. This place offered an unforgettable good experience, the atmosphere was delightful, the service nothing short from excellent and the food exquisite! all this was accomplished while enduring a huge inconvenience! No Power/Hydro as a result of the day's before act of God, a storm that caused devastating results through out the area, knocking down power lines and more... Only some serious experience earned trough out the years in the industry could have made Mastro Roberto Trattoria, owner and staff accomplish such success on a day like this. Thank you so much!

I have to say that I was very disappointed. We made reservations for 6pm and when we got there they seemed upset that our party of 3 became 2. We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, a half litre of wine and 2 espressos. We spent almost $200. It wasn’t even an hour into our stay and the waiter was telling us to hurry up and leave. I understand there’s probably a time limit because of COVID but no one told us what the time limit was. I told the waiter this and he gave us an attitude. I was completely shocked by the lack of respect and service after feeling rushed with our dinner and to make matters worse my dinner was watery and the sausage in my pasta was fatty and tasted horrible. If you have a time limit, let the patron know and set expectations rather then handling it like a jerk. This was my second time visiting after a year and I will not return.

We had an appetizer dinner — grilled calamari, glue free plate size pizza, grilled lamb speducci’s and arugula salad. All were excellent and complemented with exceptional service throughout the meal. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

Visited Mastro Roberto on our wedding anniversary, expecting authentic Italian cuisine. The place seemed legit and I would say dishes were 80-90% authentic( which is great). The servers were nice enough to provide recommendations and checked in regularly if we were doing ok with our food. Overall a great 4 star experience.

The food and service are fantastic here, great little spot for special occasions. Love the pinza and the fact that it’s great for people with gluten intolerance, and their gnocchi is fantastic

The Ontario Sign Association had a wonderful lunch at Mastro Roberto Trattoria today. I had fusilli primavera with chicken and cleaned my plate. Thank you and if you ever want to update your exterior signage, let me know. 😁

Fantastic authentic Italian food and the service was amazing. We had a reservation of 17 people (all out of town) and everyone said the same - their dish selection was delicious and the portion size was more than what they were expecting. The service 5+ stars. Definitely will be back to eat here if ever in Vaughan again. Grazie!

Friday night dinner four adults - we had a number of shared apps and our mains were all good…..except the roasted rabbit special was dry and likely from the lunch rush. We had to order focaccia with our apps and charcuterie plate as they said they were out of bread - during our 7pm dinner seating……They should have just brought out the focaccia vs having us order and billed for it.

Lovely service and all 5 of us really enjoyed our meals. I personally got the seafood soup and I couldn’t even finish it! The table bread was delicious as well.

I want to thank Attilio the waiter for a great service!! We need more waiters like him in this world!!! The food was excellent. Definitely coming back!!!!

The place is consistently good. It's not pretentious, it's a good slightly upscale Italian place. The calamari is truly the best I've ever had. It melts in your mouth. Not overly expensive. Between 30-40 dollars a head or so.

I was extremely pleased to have enjoyed an evening with close friends at this amazing restaurant. It was well staffed with superb service. The food was fantastic as you'll find the very best Italian cuisine. The chef apart from his cooking, had an amazing voice and serenaded us after offering us his masterful feast. I would certainly recommend and return to this place.

Such delicious food and fantastic customer service experience from Richard. He carefully explained each entree and asked key questions to ensure that each serving would be exactly as each person would truly enjoy! Richard's attention to detail made the whole experience exceptional. The gnocchi melted in my mouth. The lamb fell off the bone and the marinara sauce like home made! The appetizers of calamari and seafood, cheese and antipasto delicious! This restaurant and local favorite and hidden gem. 5 stars not enough!

What a great little place to share a meal with friends or loved ones. The ambiance is cozy and the portion sizes punch above their price tag.

This place screams old school Italian and I love it. Pizzas were great and we had the antipasto and meatball appetizer. I felt like I was at nonnas house.

Haven't been to Mastro's since the onset of Covid and so happy to say they haven't lost their edge. Excellent service, well portioned meals at reasonable prices. Food is fresh and outstanding. Rigatoni in meat sauce was excellent. All pizza's were spot on delicious. So happy to be back. Highly recommended!!!
