Oh my goodness, wow 🥰😍 the food was awesome. I had the shrimp fried rice, fries, shrimp in Cajun sauce and, wow. The taste was perfect. Loved the way the food was served, very different. The way the food was served made it easy to just relax and dive right in.

The servers were so nice! The restaurant was busy when we went but everyone was so nice to us. They always made sure our drinks were filled and made sure everything was ok. We got the sailors combo which included 1lb of mussels and 1lb of shrimps, seafood crab fried rice, shrimp basket, corn, sausage and fries. Everything tasted so good! Definitely recommend this location.

Lovely place. The food is just superb specially the specialty the Captain Boil's flavor. Although its kinda pricey but worth the price. Its good to eat there the first time. The clams, shrips and lobster is well dipped with the flavoring. The location is neat and clean.

I’m a seafood lover and this was just horrible. Probably the worst I’ve ever had honestly. Shrimp was over cooked, they had a lot of the poop veins, it was impossible to peel.. the mussels were also waaay overcooked.. the crab was TINY and had basically no meat.. their so called “famous” sauce is grainy and has a weird after taste.. i left the place hungry and nauseous. The best thing (and honestly only edible thing) was the cooked potato that came on the side. Don’t waste your money and time coming here.

We wanted to love this, but it was not worth $175. We ordered the Pirates but it was WAY too much food for us, and we left a lot of it. It was recommended for us by the server, said it would be just enough but it was too much. Food started arriving one bag at a time which we were not happy about, it was slow to come. Ordered chicken fingers for our child and for $8 it was 2 tiny overcooked fingers, not worth the $$ at all. Husband takes 2 fries, bites in and there is a LONG hair in them. Told the server, he took them back but wasn’t overly concerned. Shrimp was over cooked, making it so hard to peel and the amount of “poop tract” was gross and the shrimp was sandy. Lobster was very small given the price. Server offered our child ice cream it arrives, she tells me there’s a small HAIR. I take it out, and think it was a fluke, then she takes a bite and there is ANOTHER HAIR!!! Server takes it back, no genuine apology, brings her back another one and says the “checked” this one. Food was all hot, but oily and not what we expected. Top it off, no further apology, no compensation on the bill for the hair etc. Went to the ladies room before leaving, and both of the women’s washrooms had the toilet seats falling off!! No one had filled out the cleaning check list in the bathroom, and it needed a good clean. Hoped for better, would have been better off spending $200 at The Keg

This restaurant is different from any other traditional restaurant. Your food is served in plastic bags, you could ask for spice level according to your taste. You are given plastic gloves to eat your food. I tried their crab, lobster, and shrimps, very delicious for the vlaue we paid. I highly recommend this seafood restaurant. It ain't cheap either though.

The Captain's Boil here in Vaughan is a wonderful restaurant to come visit for both lunch or dinner. I've been to the Newmarket location in the past but has since closed and decided to come to the Vaughan location. The prices are very reasonable and food was spectacular. The restaurant is well kept and clean and made for a wonderful dining experience. The staff is very kind, friendly and helpful specifically our server Vicky. Vicky helped picking whats best on the menu and made sure to check up and ensure we were enjoying everything. I definitely recommend visiting and I know I will be back for sure!

We are not the first time in Captain's Boil. This is the perfect place to eat seafood; Vaughan's location is the best. Very spacious and clean. The staff is just great!! We are fans of scallops & calamari, shrimp in garlic sauce, so it was yummy!! Zucchini fries, unfortunately, I can't recommend it—too overcooked, very fatty. Overall, good place for seafood lovers. $140 spent on a family of 2.

So I am here at this present moment writing this review, waiting for these people to seat my friends and I for over 45 mins. So many people walked in after us and got seated before us. Note is was 5 of us. We called to make a reservation and they claimed to not take reservations for less than 10 people, however 7 people walked which includes 2 kids and had a reserved table. When asked why we were told differently when we called and came and saw something different, the guy then proceeded to tell us he doesn’t make the rules, rather than just apologizing for having us waiting for so long. After about an hour we were then seated in VIP…Come on do something better, we are spending our monies and not begging. After from this service the food is always good.

Very enjoyable experience! Food is generous and delicious! Affordable prices too. I got a sizzling plate of seafood medley for $16 (has 3 clams, 3 huge mussels, 3 huge shrimps and chicken teriyaki and rice). My husband got chicken tenders snd got 4 big pieces of tenders plus a huge portion of crispy fries for $13. He only ate half of it lol coz it’s too much. They also have seafood feast here and lobsters and king crab but my husband is not a seafood eater so got the plate instead. We will definitely visit again.

Had the AYCE shrimp and mussel special. Food was amazing, full of flavour, fresh and hot. Took a little while to get seated but besides that service was great well taken care of. Will be back again.

There was poop veins in every shrimp. I got disgusted and couldn’t finish the rest. They don’t clean their shrimps at ALL. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for them.

The food is delicious but more importantly is the phenomenal service! Gabriella is AMAZING and so is Jeremiah. They were attentive and kind - overall a pleasure to meet. They’ve definitely made return customers out of us. I brought my parents to celebrate their 31st wedding anniversary and they loved the food. It was flavourful and great portions. Can’t wait to be back! Thanks again Gabriella and Jeremiah for the fantastic service. Probably the best in the city!

I had the captain boils platter which is $99 and includes crab leg, corn, shrimp, potato, mussels and clams. We’ve order it in the signature captain boil sauce and mild spice level. The seafood came in a platter rather than baggies. We also added noodles with the captain boil sauce too. The noodles came in a bag. We ordered two! And it was $6.99 each. The seafood didn’t particularly stand out to me, my favourite would be the crab legs. The noodles were okay but a bit over priced for what it was. Overall it was a good experience to check out. Eating with gloves is fun! The portion is a bit small for 4 people however.

Pleased to share about my birthday celebration at the captains boil Vaughan! My family and I recently visited this location to celebrate my birthday, we have been to another location and after dining in at the Vaughan location I must say this one is now my new favourite of them all. The restaurant is clean and gives you the feeling like your eating in your own home. We arrived about an hour prior to them closing and also we had a reservation. We were greeted with the biggest smiles and the two servers who welcomed us made sure we had a comfortable table to start the night. I normally don’t write reviews but I had to let everyone know and thank Gabriella& Jeremiah on making sure my experience and my dinner was more then enjoyable. Please be sure to check out this location the sauce is phenomenal they should definitely sell it by the bottle!

Had the most amazing time! The decor was so cute and cozy! It was my first time ever being here and our server Gabriella was amazing. Sweet, funny, helpful and all around a great time. The food was delicious. I didn’t have time to snap a pic because it all disappeared in no time 😅 can’t wait to come back!

We came to captain boil to celebrate a birthday and had an amazing time! The food was fresh and delicious. Kyle, our server, did nothing short of an amazing job! He was so kind, accommodating and truly gave us top service. He provided us with his personal speaker to play music in the party room which added to the celebration. Truly amazing service from Kyle.

Our go to spot for seafood boil. We visit the Vaughan and Richmond Hill locations religiously and the quality and taste is consistent. Captains Boil blend is the way to do it! Even take out is good!

Truthfully the last time I went to the Captains Boil (different location) I was not impressed. The service wasn’t to my liking. But after my experience at the Vaughan Mills location, and ESPECIALLY with Gabriella as my server? My opinion has changed completely. Let’s talk about superb service, attention to details, and all around amazing vibes. And the food? Just incredible. Get the headless shrimp! Thank you Gabriella and the wonderful Vaughan team. ❤️
