Received
DQ's
coupons
so
visited
with
my
family
of
4.
We
first
ordered
a
2-can-dine
meal
with
1
coupon.
After
which,
we
intended
to
order
some
desserts
with
2
other
coupons
(i.e.
1
coupon
for
a
discounted
dip
small
cone,
1
coupon
for
a
regular
priced
blizzard
with
another
discounted
blizzard
and
a
separate
regular
dip
cone
at
regular
price).
However,
the
staff
there
refused
to
accept
2
further
coupons,
saying
only
1
further
coupon
can
be
used
with
the
reason
being
"only
1
coupon
per
2
people"
and
emphasized
that
"this
is
even
written
on
the
coupon".
I
pointed
out
that,
in
fact,
the
coupon
stated
"1
coupon
per
customer
per
visit"
and
we
are
4
customers
so
there
should
actually
be
3
more
coupons
left
to
use
on
this
visit.
The
staff
insisted
to
refuse
acceptance
and,
this
time
changing
her
reason,
arguing
"but
you
came
in
as
a
family".
I
was
awe-struck
as
I
cannot
comprehend
how
that
is
at
all
relevant.
I
said
"there
is
no
mentioning
anything
about
or
against
a
'family'
on
the
coupon".
But
the
staff
still
refused
for
no
good
reason.
I
felt
strongly
disappointed
and
disrespected
but
did
not
continue
to
argue
with
her.
Obviously,
she
was
making
things
up
along
the
way
to
make
things
difficult
for
us
for
god-knows-why.
We
ended
up
leaving
and
purchasing
nothing
at
all.
I
would
not
like
to
say
that
this
could
be
a
discrimination
against
family
status
merely
because
we
walked
in
as
a
"family".
Nonetheless,
the
staff's
reasons
for
refusal
changed
arbitrarily
and
she
appeared
to
not
be
familiar
with
the
rules
written
on
the
coupons
at
all.
She
was
throwing
out
businesses
for
no
good
reason.
It
would
be
useless
for
the
company
to
mail
out
coupons
as
a
promotion
to
attract
customers
and
businesses
with
staff
as
such,
who
does
not
comply
with
the
rules
written
black
&
white
on
the
coupons
but
decided
to
rewrite
and
invent
new
rules
on
her
own.
The
company
would
only
be
printing
and
mailing
coupons
for
nothing
but
waste
of
money.
This
incident
is
damaging
to
the
company's
image
and
reputation.
Better
staff
training
is
definitely
necessary
at
this
location.
