This Dairy Queen experience was disappointing beyond belief; an inspection might be warranted just saying. The front staff seemed uninformed, as my combo purchase didn't include the promised drink, there is a serious a communication lapse and this is why Dairy Queen is dying, improvements in service and training are essential for a better customer experience. Never coming here again.

I love Dairy Queen's ice cream quality. It's thick, rich and smooth! Came in and tried the new Spring Treat Collection, Fruity Blast in a cup ($5.63 after tax). The flavour reminds me of Fruit Loops, wasn't a fan personally. Despite this flavour being a miss, all their other ice creams are pretty good. This location serves food too, not just ice cream. Also has drive through as well. Staff were nice and helpful.

Slowest drive through on planet Earth. Burned one full fuel tank to get my order! And this is what I got at the end. Milkshake!!!

Great way to end the night of jumping down the street at SkyZone. Needed a cool treat and thanks to the DQ there was a $1 Small Dipped Cone offer. It worked on me and we got a snake sized Smarties Blizzard because my son ❤️ SMARTIES! Cone was on par and the Blizzard was the best blended Blizzad I'd ever had. Well done. Four stars only because it's been so long since the last time I went I recall the person was terribly unhelpful in finding a birthday cake. And some of the tables were left messy tonight despite them being empty when we walked in the door. But tonight was great. It was also extremely noisy but we will blame the other people for that.

They NEVER flip the cup & i know this for a fact as i have been here 6 times!! If you don’t do want to do the cup flip, just re brand and don’t be dairy queen. However I will say the topping to ice cream ratio is pretty decent. I will agree with the last reviewer, the service is terrible & the employees are miserable lol. (why do i keep coming back, it’s just convenient on my route)

We ordered a cake for our son’s birthday and was very happy with the service! They were able to draw animals on the cake that turned out beautifully, my son loved it!

This is second time we ordered choco brownie extreme blizzard and got something else. It had Oreo in it and it was chocolate ice cream. The last time the ice cream was vanilla. The last time it happened I sent a message to DQ but no one contacted me. I don’t think we will go back.

I don’t know who took over the Dairy Queen but it’s a disaster. Been 2x through the drive- thru. Never again. Both times you need to wait 10-15 minutes for an order. Sizes of ice cream have dwindled. Now ordered sundaes. Hardly no chocolate toppings at all. I should have just ordered vanilla ice cream because that’s what we got. Very disappointed.

  • 4/5 Isidro O. 1 year ago on Google
Very very very, extremely slow at the drive thru. Once you make it the sundaes and blizzards are great and employees wonderful. But pack patience.

Man don’t go here, employees don’t understand a simple Buy one Get one a dollar, and charged me more then the amount of the ice cream, would love to know the logic behind that. And ontop of everything, this Asian girl rolling her eyes at me using gift cards.

Ordered two blizzards and could not tell the difference between the two. Basically, just two bland vanilla soft serves. Definitely not what is advertised and not worth the price. The staff seems to be sleeping through the whole process. Such a waste of money.

I have to say I’m super disappointed. We arrived 10 minutes before 11 on a Sunday and the door was closed. We urged them to open the door as all we wanted was to buy a cake, but they wouldn’t open the door. 10 minutes before closing. Definitely would not recommend this location. Management needs to either intervene and think from the customer’s perspective.

Ordered two small blizzards off Uber for my partner and I. Both were entirely missing the mix ins. I'm not sure how this is possible without it being done purposefully . Seriously. Recess blizzard. Not a single piece of a cup. Recess royal blizzard, no cups, no brownie no peanut butter core. If I wanted to pay $15 for vanilla soft serve I would have just gone to the grocery store. Either your staff just doesn't care or you're telling them to skip the expense of producing the product your customers are paying for. For the record. Uber refunded the purchase but it still doesn't feel like enough retribution. Good luck. Get your act together. P.S the hollow templated review responses are doing nothing for your reputation. No real action just shows a lack of actual care . P.S.S the same complaint from four months ago demonstrates that no, you are not getting better.

The banana split’s portions were tinier than usual from other locations. Smaller bananas. But it all tasted great!

me and my friends came to dairy queen and we ordered. the person who got our order was so polite and organized and she was so kind and she guided us to order because we had not been there before. I don't know if I am writing her name correctly but it was hooriya or something like that. in contrast the other staff weren't even care about us and they just forced her to take care of their jobs and everything was all on her shoulders. I think she should be the manager there.

Horrible experience and out first time trying “food” from DQ ….I bought food for 5 of us with coupons came out to $40 which was still a rip off for what we received….poutines we’re extremely DRY. Ordered two 4 piece chicken strip baskets …wanted a chicken sandwich and was told “I can some back another day because they don’t have any” …the strip baskets weren’t strips they were over cooked chicken chunks ….with a handful of fries. I showed my brother what I got from our leftovers (which ended up in the garbage since nobody wanted them) and he laughed and said that’s not what he received when he ordered a strip basket from a Scarborough location and that his food was fresh and tasty. The whole drive home I was highly annoyed because none of the kids enjoyed their food and it was my daughters birthday on top of it all. I could’ve wasted less time and money at a McDonald’s drive-thru….

Received DQ's coupons so visited with my family of 4. We first ordered a 2-can-dine meal with 1 coupon. After which, we intended to order some desserts with 2 other coupons (i.e. 1 coupon for a discounted dip small cone, 1 coupon for a regular priced blizzard with another discounted blizzard and a separate regular dip cone at regular price). However, the staff there refused to accept 2 further coupons, saying only 1 further coupon can be used with the reason being "only 1 coupon per 2 people" and emphasized that "this is even written on the coupon". I pointed out that, in fact, the coupon stated "1 coupon per customer per visit" and we are 4 customers so there should actually be 3 more coupons left to use on this visit. The staff insisted to refuse acceptance and, this time changing her reason, arguing "but you came in as a family". I was awe-struck as I cannot comprehend how that is at all relevant. I said "there is no mentioning anything about or against a 'family' on the coupon". But the staff still refused for no good reason. I felt strongly disappointed and disrespected but did not continue to argue with her. Obviously, she was making things up along the way to make things difficult for us for god-knows-why. We ended up leaving and purchasing nothing at all. I would not like to say that this could be a discrimination against family status merely because we walked in as a "family". Nonetheless, the staff's reasons for refusal changed arbitrarily and she appeared to not be familiar with the rules written on the coupons at all. She was throwing out businesses for no good reason. It would be useless for the company to mail out coupons as a promotion to attract customers and businesses with staff as such, who does not comply with the rules written black & white on the coupons but decided to rewrite and invent new rules on her own. The company would only be printing and mailing coupons for nothing but waste of money. This incident is damaging to the company's image and reputation. Better staff training is definitely necessary at this location.

I have tried to order from this location multiple times from SkiptheDishes. Every single time, I get my order cancelled within 10 minutes because 'restaurant is not responding'. Why are you listed on Skip if you cannot manage a few item order? Who is working there? Is anyone? This is not an isolated incident - it's occurred at least 4 times over the course of a few months.

Perfect place if you would like your blizzard to be a milkshake. Two out of three times now, we received melted ice cream and twice asked for extra toppings (was charged too) but neither time did we receive them. Last time we'll be going to this location. LOL, love the generic feedback. Thanks and well done!

I went to dairy queen and the cashier was polite and helped me ordered what I wanted as i havent been here before. When she made the blizzard she tilt the cup upside down to show the quality of the blizzard. She also took the time to show me the cup size and what flavors are popular. I'm not sure of her name but they should make her manager. She had the right patience, care and manners. The sundae I also had was amazing. I would definitely come here again. Thank you.

Ordered a banana split and a mango pineapple smoothie. And instead got a frozen orange juice and a banana split that was 90% artificial whipped cream. Never going back here again. I’d rate you a 0, but that’s not possible, so I give you a 1.

They have great service and prepare fast food menu that is available in every DQ, but here they do it Fresh to Order! So it's hot and freshly prepared that makes the difference.

The customer service is not very good. I made my order paid for my food and waited almost an hour to get what I ordered. It is understandable if unforseen circumstances may have delayed me getting my stuff but no explanation was given or even an apology. I waited while many other customers came on after me, was served with what looked like the same things as mine and left. I asked the if there was an issue as to why I was waiting that long, the guest service person asked me what my order was, I told her and she came back saying I my order would be ready in 5 minutes. Even at that time no apology was given. My order came incorrectly which caused me to wait an additional 10 minutes. I am not trying to be petty and I am very understandable that in the restaurant industry it is difficult when you are working the drive thru and the walk in customers. I patiently waited and received no apology. I think it would have been distasteful if I had resorted to be boisterous especially when I had 3 hungry children waiting on their treat. This may not be the reflection of all DQ Franchise and maybe it was a one-off bad experience for me. I can say that I will definitely not be returning to that oulet as the experience left a bad taste.

I would give DQ a firm pass. First time trying the brand. The patties were completely dried out and flavorless. Onion rings were good. Customer service was great may I add.

Always a favourite when it comes to ice cream, or ice cream cakes! Location is convenient and staff are friendly. They also have a drive through which makes it easier to grab your Turtle blizzard :)

Really bad experiences. First time came at 11:30 am to get lunch for myself and work colleagues. They said the grills were off needed 20 minutes. We waited for the 20 minutes came back and they grills needed 25 more minutes. Second time was at 7 pm with my family. I got the same exact excuse so we left. If they don’t want to cook meals just say it and people won’t go for lunch or dinner. If I could give less than a star I would.

The location is always pretty busy which is rather surprising given the poor customer service. I go for the Blizzards and choose this location because of the drive through - with kids, its just easier... Most times I end up a bit disappointed that the cup is only 3/4 of the way filled and the ingredients are never mixed in well (the kids don't seem to mind though).

I honestly love buying ice cream from Dairy Queen, service and food is great. But I honestly think it’s a joke that they charge customers extra for topics such as peanuts of ice creams. That’s like ordering French fries without any ketchup and telling the customer “oh ketch will be extra” lol. It just seems greedy for money as if the company doesn’t make enough money already as is.

Zero stars. I never had such a bad burger in my life! I was on a lunch break with my work buddy, and told him that DQ has the best burgers, which I have tried at other locations. After waiting 12 minutes, this location had the worst burger I’ve ever had anywhere. I went to the cashier and demanded my money back as I paid cash. She refused and had to call the owner, to which the owner told the cashier to take my number and would call me tomorrow. After 10 minutes of fighting, they finally refunded me. If you’re reading this review, stay away, bad food and bad customer service. Go across the street or anywhere else to get good food. This DQ is a disaster. I ended up with Mary Browns which was the best.
