Had a great experience at the Richmond Hill location, and I'm glad to say we had the same amazing experience at the Vaughan location! Chef Zeki, aside from being a great guy, is so passionate about what he does and it really shows in his food. Everything is delicious from start to finish, I truly can't chose a favorite! Do not miss out on the desert as they are all delicious as well!

I enjoyed every bit of it. We ordered the platter of two which came with lots of varieties. My favorite the chicken wings grilled to my satisfaction. The food is so delicious, spicy to taste. Portion is good for the price and customer is great. The Kunefe is a must-try as well. I will definitely be going back soon.

One of my new fav. The place is neat and clean. Service is great and the food is amazing. However my last takeout - one of the four pieces of lamb chops was not fresh, it smelled bad after reheat so I didn't take it. That was the only time I had question about their food but overall it's a great restaurant. Pictures are from our last dine in visit.

Awesome restaurant! Overall, it is one of the best restaurants around GTA. You will feel the Turkish vibe as they will prepare your food in the best way possible. The ambiance of this place is so relaxing. The chef and crew are so helpful.

I had the pleasure of dining at this Turkish restaurant, and I must say, it was an experience to remember. The lamp chops was so delicious, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned, tender and juicy. The portion was generous, and the ingredients were fresh and of the highest quality. The only complaint is the service was not up to par. Although the food was decent, the service was slow and inattentive. Overall, I would highly recommend this Turkish restaurant to anyone looking for a truly special dining experience. The food was exceptional, and the ambiance was unforgettable. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes!

The Turkish restaurant in question definitely had some hits and misses during your visit. On the one hand, the food was exceptional, and you were delighted to try new dishes you had never experienced before. However, the service was not up to par, with a clear lack of attention to detail in delivering the dishes to the table. The timing of the meals was inconsistent, and the dessert was completely forgotten, and it was disappointing to hear that your request for it was declined. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time you've encountered such issues with Turkish restaurant customer service. Despite these setbacks, the atmosphere of the restaurant was spot on, creating an enjoyable and pleasant dining experience for you. As a result, you still highly recommend this restaurant to others, hoping that the staff can learn from the issues you encountered and work to improve their service in the future. Overall, the fantastic food and atmosphere outweighed the negative experience with service, and you believe that others should give this restaurant a try.

Food is amazing and the servers are so friendly and accommodating but service is a bit slow. It's understandable with how busy they are. Would recommended to call and make a reservation before going. We were 3 people on a Tuesday and luckily got a table but it was PACKED.

My absolute favourite restaurant right now!!! Found this hidden gem from TikTok & decided one night to go with my husband and my mom. The food is to die for! We ordered the efendi salad, and the mix kebabs for 2. But ended up just adding more and more to our table. We all loved the food but I especially enjoyed it the most. I am 7 months pregnant and just about everything is unappealing to me. Especially meat. But I ate every single thing they had to offer!!!! I came back for a second time with my mom and this time got to also meet Chef Zeki. He was so so nice! We ate a whole bunch more food and enjoyed it even more this time. You can tell the food is quality. And consistently good. I also really like the atmosphere. The service is absolutely amazing. Our server Nadir was so enjoyable, professional, and attentive. He is the best! The whole team is awesome. Can’t wait for our next visit!!!

Came here with 3 friends for dinner, we ordered: Mixed Appetizer (3 dips with bread) Mixed Kebab Platter for 4 Such a variety of food is on the Mixed Kebab Platter: Adana Kebab👌 Meat Shish Kebab👌 Chicken Shish Kebab👌 Chicken Wings Efendi Lamb Chops 💕 Icli Kofte Bulgur and rice👌 Bbq tomatoes & peppers Side salad The platters are definitely great for sharing and love that they typically serve 4 pieces per variety on the Platter so everyone can get their own piece. The Lamb Chops were my favourite although I'm actually not even a huge fan of Lamb! Very juicy and tender, still sizzling on the hot plate. The rest of the kebabs were flavourful and juicy except the chicken wings were a bit dry. The Bulgur and rice were very moist and had a great bite to it. Would return for the food but the service was not great, we felt like the servers didn't want to be there and didn't really care to serve us. It was hard for us to get water/drinks when we wanted to. The only thing that came fast was the bill when we asked for it.

When you first enter the place, you are greeted with a comfortable interior with white tablecloths and white chairs. The salad, which is offered as a welcome treat, is served with fresh pita bread. The indoor music volume is quite normal. Kebabs are very tasty. Prices are slightly higher than other Turkish restaurants. Thank you, I like it. I almost forgot ; service quality is above 5 stars.

The taste was better than average. The food presentation was very nice. The salad was great but the vegetables were not cut well, literally the greenery was sticking out of my mouth when I was eating it. The kenafa was really good, not too sweet:). They bring salad as a complementary dish. Tea is free. If you are vegetarian, don't consider this restaurant. Cons: the washroom had paper towels all over the floor. There was a broom and dust pan right next to me, it was so interesting. I had to take it away by myself. We were 3 people the total was about 130. I would say it's an overpriced restaurant. We ordered a plate for 2 people, hummus, and kenafa came to 130. Note: not good for dates, it's way too loud and you cannot hear your own thoughts. I would love to give it 4 stars if there was no broom sitting next to me.

From the food to the decor, a really impressive joint! The portions and presentation of the dishes are impressive. If the photos look mouthwatering, then believe when I say the food is just as delicious An added bonus was the super soft bread and full out salad - that looks like a main - which came out before the meals and was complimentary! This was definitely an unexpected but appreciated touch. It's the little things (like this) which makes a restaurant stand out amongst the others. It was my first time at Efendi but certainly not my last!

Great Service. Great Food. Food was so good, I forgot to take a picture of the main meal. Their kabobs were truly done well, to perfection almost. I wish the place was a bit bigger, darker atmosphere, and a little music in the background. The food they have deserves to be a fancier place for sure. I do love that they have table clothes and done their best to dress it up. The mix appetizer platter wasn't very flavorful... It was all a bit bland, delicious still... Perhaps it just needed a teeny tiny bit more salt... It was amazing, but I can't give it 5 stars still... I went at 9:10pm. They were closing at 10, they let us know they are closing in 1 hour, and still sat us down, was glad they didn't turn us away.

Great experience at EFENDI …. Came from Miami & tried Turkish feed for the first time … I was hooked with the mixture of flavors & the vibe at EFENDI made the experience even better, felt like I was eating in Turkey… PS: you must have some Turkish coffee when you go there !! The food here is so good. Bit of a hiccup with service. We ordered an appetizer and it seemed like they forgot about it. Honest mistake but gotta point it out. I asked about it and they brought it out right away, just before our mains arrived. No biggie. The food here is awesome. Efendi pretty much ruined meat for me as I must have everything with yoghurt now. Cooked over flames, seasoned amazingly and caramelized to perfection. On a sword! You have been warned. Can't wait to come back to try their mixed kebab platters. The dessert we had, kunefe, was a little on the sweet side, cuz as Asians all desserts are too sweet. But delicious non-the-less. I'm going to move to Vaughan just to be closer to Efendi. Saying goodbye to Markham for some sweet kebab, yes it sounds crazy, but come eat here before you judge. Actually, gonna buy my one way ticket to Turkey right now. I shall live and die by the meat sword. I give this place 10 meat swords up, outta 5.

This restaurant is very clean, beautiful, and I have to say that it has amazing food. Their food is very delicious, clean, and just perfect. I would defiantly come here again. Their service is very good. The servers are very kind, sweet, helpful, and very fast with orders. Their all very hardworking and do their job perfectly. If you want to try Turkish food for the first time or just a good food place to eat when your super hungry come here trust me. I have also met the manager and he is very sweet, funny, and respectful manager. Overall, this place is amazing. 👍🤌

Congrats on the grand opening and all the best. Loved the interiors of the place and that we now have an option for more fine dining Turkish cuisine. There are so many items to choose from on the menu that it was a little hard to choose what to eat. Can't wait to come back and visit. Everything is great!

From their meze to your actual meal everything was on point 👌🏻 I recommend their adana kebab and efendi lamb chops in butter but you can’t go wrong with different orders 😍 the lamb meat literally melts in your mouth!! Best Turkish restaurant in Ontario. The staff are so nice. The place is so clean. Price is affordable than the portions. We were 5 and ordered Mix kabab for 4 and it was enough. It’s obvious that they use high quality and fresh ingredients. Also, we ordered mix appetizers which was so yummy. Don’t forget to try baklava as dessert 😍 Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Modern design, good food. Came in a party of 6, reserved a table same day (weekend, they were full but squeezed us in on 6:30pm). Servers weren't as available as I expected but food came out fast and was delicious. Authentic cuisine, well spiced and balanced. Don't miss out on the Manti. As dessert we took the sutlac - very surprising and very refreshing. Also highly recommend $207 for all six of us, including tax (before service), 4 main dishes with some appetizers and some desserts.

One if the best Turkish restaurants I have had in a while. This fairly new restaurant is taking Thornhill by storm. The meats are incredible and the flavor is first class. I had the mix grill for two people. Was very filling and was running $75. With coffee and dessert we ended up around $100 for 2 people. Highly recommend for Turkish cuisine. Will be back for some of the other dishes.

The interior is so well decorated. The food was delightful and delicious! They even gave naan and a big plate of salad and that was only complementary! Ordered the mixed kebab platter for 2. The service was amazing! My new favourite restaurant. I give it a 10/10. Definitely recommend this!

I was blown away at the flavors of the food in this place. I have never had grilled meats so perfectly cooked, melt in your mouth tender. I cannot wait to go back very soon I might addd. We also asked the servers what they recommended to taste what they would eat, it was all fabulous. My first time having Turkish coffee and i loved it. Tarek our server was very pleasant and attentive. Highly recommend 👌

Absolutely amazing dining experience! Appetizer salad was delicious but did little to prepare for the main course, Spinach-Feta Pide which was incredible! The pide was rich in flavor, perfect in texture and had that "melt-in-your-mouth" quality to it - certainly a dish that you savour to the last morsel! For the spice lover, a complimentary side of hot sauce is provided on request. Beautiful and modetn-looking dining interior and exceptional service! Also, nice background music was playing to make the eating experience even more enjoyable! Worth traveling all the way to Maple, ON just to have a meal here - superb!

It was our first visit and first time having Turkish cuisine. What a delight! Our servers were helpful and friendly. Each dish was well seasoned and a well-sized portion. The baklava was absolutely the best! Can't wait to return to try more. The only downside to the experience was that the music was a little loud, making conversation difficult.

Loved this place! I DO recommend to reserve in advance specifically for weekends as it was very busy and thank God we did reserved! But I wish the place was bigger! All of us loved the food and we unanimously chose this place as our best Turkish place so far! The staff were very friendly and quick, the food was ready fast too although there were kebobs involved! The salad dressing is so different, flavorful and sour which made it amazing. We for sure will come back to try other items in the menu.

This is a very fresh Turkish restaurant that opened in Vaughan. Zeki is very talented and creative Chef who works wonders in his kitchen. Needless to say you can find almost all known Turkish dishes in this joint. I would suggest the mixed grill if you are a party of 4. His specialty is the Adana kebap. For desert I would suggest Kunefe which is served hot and fresh.

My husband and I were smiling with each bite we took. The food was visually so beautiful to look at and even better to eat. I can really say this is the best restaurant I have been to in years! The service was great and food was perfect not one thing I would change. The entire time we were there I was thinking about how I cannot wait to bring our family to enjoy as well. We took our left overs home and ate it cold and it was still delicious 😆. Perfect from beginning to the end cant wait to come back! Best Turkish food I ever tried. We also met the chef which I believe is the owner on our way out and he was extremely kind to us!
