I do wish they have more seating options throughout the garden as most people are walking for hours, admiring the sculptures and fountains. They also have boat rentals that you have to row.

There were a few bushes around, all of which were meticulously groomed. The rocky pathways had puddles all around since it was a bit wet, making it a bit hard walking in a straight line. The large garden looked like there were many separate sections where you could wander and get lost in. The Basin de Latone fountain in front of the palace was really beautiful. The golden accents glittering in the sun, making it stand out from the rest of the gardens. It would probably be easy to spend a whole day just wandering around, but we didn't have that time so we were able to look around the area close to the palace. Definitely worth a stop if you have come to Versaille Palace.

The Palace is stunning, the grounds are breathtaking, but the most fun part of our trip to Versailles was walking through this village. That may sound kinda lame, but the rest of Versailles is so busy that it was nice to escape from the crowds to see these buildings and all the livestock and just walk for a bit. You can walk elsewhere on the grounds, but you see more in a short walk here than you could at the normal grounds.

The main building by the entrance is interesting (especially in contrast after touring the lavish main palace at Versailles) but the real gem of this property are the little English countryside homes located in the back corner of the property. The little garden next to the main building is also quite lovely.

I honestly enjoyed the garden much more then the palace. We didn’t go to the garden until about 1700, but spent the rest of the evening wondering around the grounds taking in the beauty and stunning design. If we had gone earlier we would have loved to of rowed the boats on the canal, unfortunately it was closed when we got there.

Beautiful place, spacious and impeccably maintained. You can loose yourself for days in this magnificent garden. All you need is comfortable shoes or one of the golf carts that you can rent there.

A very enjoyable walk. I suggest to come to the garden as soon as it opens, you will have a nice and quiet time and you'll be able to enjoy taking photos without so much people around.

Only had time to vist the gardens. But we'll worth the 11 euros. Classical music playing as you walked around. Also you could hire golf buggies to get you around.

Between the castle and the expansive grounds, you could easily spend a full day here. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and each have their own personality. I highly recommend a bike or golf cart if you can afford the added luxury, the kayaking didn’t seem to add much to the experience.
