Not a long walk, but a steep one.. going up is easier than going down... But the views are amazing.. you can see all the northern islands

This was a very difficult hike!!! Couple important things I want to mention: -We parked at the very very end of the road. There is a parking lot right next to someone's house, which seemed weird. No one said anything to us, and other hikers had parked here too, so I guess it was fine -We arrived at ~3 pm on a Tuesday in mid-September. For us, there was no one collecting money like some of the reviews mention. Unclear what happened, but we were prepared to pay. -The trail is marked with blue markers -The first 25% of the hike is muddy. Between 25%-80% is absolutely brutal. It's like a stairmaster 9000, very steep on a mixed grassy/rocky terrain. The final 20% to the very tippy top of Kaap Enniberg is quite gradual and looked easy. We stopped at 80% to the top because the apex was covered with fog and it was getting late. It took us ~1 hr 20 min to reach 80% to the top of the mountain. We are not super athletes but are in OK shape. We had to stop frequently to catch our breath. Personally, I took the best photos at a location ~40-50% of the way up the mountain. We had pretty cloudy weather, which could be why.

Our first hiking in Faroe Islands. It was difficult for me in such a windy day. But really enjoyed the magnificent views.

Very nice view. Did not walk all the way to the top due to children in the group. Quite steep on the first part. Farmer asks for 200 DKK at the gate, which is too expensive.

Cosy litlle village in really impressive landscape. The hike up the hill is an absolute must, but it is not easy. I recommend to wear really good hiking shoes, as the path is sometimes steep and you sometimes have to climb. You fond the path by following the blue sticks. Be very careful if clouds or fog are aproaching. You should get down immediatelly and very carefully ig you get caught in the fog as the path can be, at some point, really dangerous if you don't see where your next step is leading to. But the view from up there is worth trying it!

Beautiful hike. Definitely medium to difficult and we did not go to the top. One of the most beautiful spots in the Faroes.

Nice hike with picturesque views! Although it's not very long, it's quite challenging because you have to gain about 700 meters in high and it's very steep. I managed to get to 600m altitude but then I had to go back because of snow and slippery conditions. The path is not marked and there was a fee but the sign wasn't there when I visited (seems like someone tore it down and owner doesn't care). Trail starts from small parking lot suitable for 4 cars.

Beautiful viewpoint and start to a hike however, weather conditions may not be favorable or advisable for hiking. There is no defined path or trail. There are blue poles that are used as markers for the vertical assent along the mountain. This hike can be very challenging due to the steep elevation gain and terrain. It is not safe if there is a lot of mud, water and strong gusts of wind. Avoid hiking if there is significant cloud cover and fog.

Nice place to see, I cannot understand how you can ask 25euro per personne to walk a way that has been prepared rudimentarily. I would say that's a bit exaggerated for the quality of the path.

Challenging, especially as you get further up. But wonderful! Wear shoes or boots that can get wet. Watch out for sheep droppings!

Moderate graduation to start. It gets a little steep halfway up. Very beautiful though.

Be fit. It’s 700m ascent in less than 2km. It’s a short trail but stunning at the top. The extra distance to the point is worth it but should be avoid if inexperienced or in poor weather as the trail is technical in places. Is it worth the 200kn? I don’t think so, maybe half that. But worth doing and good to contribute to the local farms.
