The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was friendly, courteous and professional. The selection for breakfast was excellent. Basically a continental style breakfast but with selection of hot foods, baked goods, fruits, yogurts, and drinks. Located within an easy walk to old town, the opera house, and casino.

Air does not work, no laundry, old smelly building, no parking at all. Hard matress

Price per value is not ok: i booked a double bed and had a French one, see the 13” laptop for comparison. AC in the room (405) was very noisy, carpet in the corridor past its prime, and the one in the breakfast room well stained. Parking space is fairly small, and you can’t reserve. WiFi in the room keep disconnecting. Average staff, when I arrived I wasn’t acknowledged for several minutes. On checkout I asked about the bed, and the receptionist had trouble getting the difference from a double bed to French one. Nice location, tough, and the bathroom was fitted for people with disabilities.

Being there for the Ironman event. Really convenient as the staff accepted that we kept our bike in the room. Also the staff took into account the race start time to arrange breakfast. Near city centre and not too far of the Ironman startline. Room was clean, big, quiet and quite newly furbished.

Guide hotel. Nice rooms. Very good breakfast spread. Friendly staff. Only problem was that the spa was closed but there is another one within 200 meters, so not a big issue.

Hotel was good, if a bit run down on the outside. Centrally located and an easy 5 minutes walk into town. Rooms clean Beds comfy Bathroom had bath with shower. Separate wc. Staff friendly Bar well stocked. Breakfast good - sausages, bacon, eggs, baked beans offered for hot breakfast. Cold breakfast was cereals, various breads and pastries inc gluten free bread, yoghurt, compote, cheeses and cold meats. Fruit was only oranges or apple compote which was not a great choice compared to other 4* hotels wr have stayed in but January isn't a good month for fresh fruit. Teas and coffee were available with orange or apple fruit juice. The spa isn't open in January. So we went shopping instead and looked around the town.

The hotel is close by the river and the thermal water fountain. Inside the hotel we come back in time… old fashioned and need to be renovated to give a updated and fresh atmosphere.

Very comfortable beds and great location. Underground parking available €15 a night
