Suffering from jet lag that was keeping me up late at night, I looked to the Google to find a fun bar in center city that was (miraculously) still open. I found a very cool bar with a few people in it, but all conversing in English. None of them American, but this was the common language among them. Miguel (the bartender) and the others made me feel like I’d found my own “Cheers.” It’s kinda like that. I came back another night, and found it kinda empty at 00:00. But at 2AM, the place became standing room only. People come from the other bars after they close. People in Wien are generally rather guarded. It’s not easy to get to know the locals if you’re a foreigner. Roo Bar is different in this regard. The regulars took me in and made me feel at home. Roo Bar stays open until 4AM. If your only language is English, and you’re wide awake in Wien, this is where you’ll want to be.

A very down-to-earth restaurant, as you wouldn't expect in the first district. You feel at home from the first moment. Besides beer, there is also a classic selection of solidly mixed cocktails.

Close to leave after order, took nearly 25 minutes to get the 5 hamburgers and drinks. The bar was only filled to 50%. Did not get drinks to all, has to remined the waiter that we were still waiting för all ordered drinks... no excuses. Will not visit this place again.

The environment is really cool for a small bar in the middle of the city, it has an downstairs room for games and dancing but look a little old in the sense that is not very well maintained, but even this give a cooler atmosphere. The bar has a lot of funny signals and phrases in the wall. There is not lower chairs in the main room and there is nothing special, but still a nice place to visit

Owner tried to add an extra 4 euro to the beers me and my mates went to buy. Was 4 beers at 4.50, should be 18 euro, tried to charge 22 and when called out upon it got aggressive. Also doesnt have anything to do with Australia, the music was reggaeton and none of the employees were from there, absolute joke of a bar.

Really great place. Friendly atmosphere, good prices and a rally cool, polite and friendly bartender. We will definitely come back to this place. Highly recommended

It wasn't busy when I was there but it had a good laid back feel to it. The owner is a lovely guy. I said I loved the LCD Soundsystem song that was playing and mentioned some other groups and he immediately put them on...

My go to bar in Vienna. Stayed there for 3 nights and went there every evening. Grear bartender and atmosphere.

Tourist: If I'm being totally honest, until I walked Into this bar..... I did not like Vienna... But then I was here. They very clearly have fun regulars, bit they also appreciate new-comers. I'm all about finding local bars in cities, and this was that. A couple came in, newly engaged, and the bartenders helped them feel portant. This is not their job, but is also so great! My favorite place in Vienna-and I found it by accident :) thank you!!!

Great place in the inner Stadt. The drinks were inexpensive and they had live sports on TV, which always seems hard to fine. The drinks were expensive and good. The staff working that day, I am sorry I can't recall his name but he was an immigrant from Mexico if that helps you identify him (hopefully you get him), he was just one of the most awesome people you will ever meet, his personality infectious, any barkeep/manager as great as him will rub off on his establishment. Also this place is Australian themed, but only slightly, really just a great pub.

So a Mexican, an Irishmen, and a Bosnian, walk into their bar and make a wonderful pop-rock experience.

Had an absolute blast drinking with these folks. Definitely will check it out again soon 5/5
