Extremely good tapas (all of them!!), a very welcoming atmosphere and reasonable prices. This has become our regular tapas restaurant in Vienna.

Had a great experience here! The employees are so friendly and accommodating. Definitely make a reservation if you can. Also the price is so reasonable for a Michelin recipient! ~ €30/person

This is one of the best Spanish restaurants I have ever been to. Some of the dishes, such as the gambas al ajillo, were to die for. The pimientos de padron and Spanish tortilla (but remember not to get the plain one, which was too plain in my view) were also excellent. But what was the best about the place was the service. The hosts, whose names I regretfully neglected to ask for, made us feel so welcome. We went there three or four times within two months. Upon our second visit, the male host already greeted us as if we were old friends. I thoroughly enjoyed my visits and cannot wait to go back.

An amazing little Spanish bar located right outside the main center in a beautiful building. Perfect for a nice night of enjoyable dining with friends. (Or a 1st date if you want to make a good impression.) First impressions lasts, and I'm glad they did. An absolute superb experience. Amazing hosts all, man and wife (i assume) and their other hostess were all very friendly and welcoming into their restaurant! And were very happy to assist and have fun while doing so. The food was great! Great selected cheeses, meats and wines :) Good presentations which filled our table with all different kinds of dishes. A sight to enjoy. I'll definitely bring people back here once I'm in Wien again! Note; you get sweet potato fries with the entrecôte, so patatas bravas was too much for us.

Best tapas restaurant in Vienna, extremely friendly staff, wide wine selection and authentic cuisine. Michelin guide recommendation for 2023 is well deserved. We have been going there for a long time, and will continue to do so - the quality is “nicht zu toppen” (not easily beaten”). In the picture, you can see our usual starters.

It has been like we mentally moved to Spain during this evening. Amazing food, amazing atmosphere and interior. Owners make such an atmosphere like you are being very much welcome into their home to have a nice dinner, enjoy Spanish traditional food, drink some Sangria and enjoy the time. Thank you for this evening 🙏

The food is extremely overpriced, absolutely not worth the price (for instance a few slices of cheese, around 15 euros). The service very very informal, the waiter was very tipsy. In overall, i would not recommend.

I am speechless. This has been the best dining experience I’ve had (until now). Not only is the food breathtaking, but the service and the place are lovely. The recommendations were spot on and the wine was fabulous as well. ( especially for a pescatarian) I cannot just recommend this place. It is a “must go to place” if you are in Vienna. Ps: book a table! It gets quite full.

This is place is quiet simply AMAZING! The quality of the tapas is really good. Went as a party of four and had quite a range of stuff. The croquettes were the star of the dishes I think but everything was delicious to be honest.

Lola tapas is always worth a visit. It feels like you are in a typical bar in Spain. Delicious tortilla española, pimentos de padrón, my fav beer Estrella de Galicia, pulpo a la gallega and many more specialties.

Almost 8 years it has been now. Never did they disappoint and not even once did they provide a lower quality or tasting experience. Without even doubt, LOLA is the place in Vienna when it's about Spanish cuisine. After having been to most regions of Spain over years, I can confidently say that LOLA is in the same league with their best.

Lovely family run restaurant. If you like Spanish tapas, you'll like this place. Best to book though as it is quite small and very popular. We were lucky and they found us a table without a booking. We were also assisted in making choices that were enough for the two of us without overloading the plate.

If you ever want to feel like if you are in Spain but don’t want to leave the city, this is the place to go. This tiny tapas’ bar has all the flair of a night in Malaga or Barcelona. It is tiny, so you have to make reservation! The food is delicious!! Without a doubt the best tapas in Viena! The staff is really friendly and makes you feel like at home. It was an amazing experience. 100% recommended!!

Excellent experience with authentic Spanish food! If you want a nice evening with some tapas and a relaxed atmosphere, this is the place to go! PS. The wine is excellent, my favourite is the Mantel Blanco, Alvarez y Diez, Sauvignon Blanc.

Real spanish tapas, fresh produce and authentic athmosphere with the best hosts in town? If that is what you are looking for, this is the place. Has become our go-to-place for a hearty welcome as well as great service. They really make an effort to try to make you feel like you’re at home. Love this place!

I had my birthday dinner at Lola and it was such a great experience. The food was great, the stuff was so lovely and kind. They surprised me with a Spanish birthday song and a dessert with candles. It was just so lovely, once again thanks so much :) had a lovely time!

The people working here will make you want to come again and again, so friendly and positive! Amazing atmosphere and delicious cuisine! They prepare the meals fast even when there are a lot of guests. I recommend the pork and from the starters the potatoes with cheese, eggs and iberico. Not many options for the typical desserts but you can always have a lovely end of your night with some sangria :)

This is the best place for authentic spanish tapas in town. Paco the main waiter an the whole team are extremely attentive and nice to their customers. The small but cosy place makes the perfect environment to have tapas and some wine or beer with friends or family. The food is unbelievable good. Everything we order was cooked perfectly and the taste, oh my god the taste of the food is just indescriptible. We order many different tapas like chorizo, croquetas, iberico y manchego, gambas, tortilla de patatas and pan con tomate. The dishes were brougth in the right order ar the right time with perfect temperature. They deserve more than 5 stars and we will for sure come back many times. Way to go guys!

At Lola you eat like quality demanding Spaniards eat. This is definitely not the disgusting tapas that most tourists get when they walk down the Ramblas of Barcelona or at the Plaza Mayor in Madrid. This is THE REAL THING: excellent cuisine, nicely presented in a calm atmosphere, in a very elegant local and with very friendly service. The food has a deep and intense palette of Iberian flavours, red and white wines are picked from well proven traditional wineries from the best wine regions of the country, and well selected chillout music in the background round up the excellent dining experience. Lola is a safe bet for whoever wants to enjoy a relaxed and intimate dining evening with Spanish tones. Definitely not the cheapest in town; however, the value for money makes of it possibly the best choice in and around Vienna. We enjoyed it very much and will come back soon.

Service was excellent. The owner is a Spaniard who has been living in Vienna for some time and conveys Spanish cuisine in an authentic way. The meal itself was a surprise. A revelation in terms of taste and the best meal we had in a long time. The wine recommendations also hit the mark. For a nice evening with a starter and main course and 2 glasses of wine, 50 euros should be estimated for each. The restaurant would receive 7 stars from us and we look forward to the next visit.

Great wine, very good food. As tempting as the whole menu sounds, do take the Jamón (take the full portion, not the half)... best ham I had in my life so far!

Delicious authentic Spanish tapas, fantastic service, lovely terrace in a great location. The owners and waiters know their food and wine very well, which makes the whole experience here extra special. Book in advance as they're very popular!

Lola is a very special place. Their service and hospitality is unmatched. This family-run establishment makes you feel like you are truly part of the family. The food is delicious and the wine selection is sophisticated and informed, with the lovely servers advising on the wines in a way that shows a high knowledge of wine and palate. We were lucky enough on a Monday night for them to accomodate us without a reservation despite being fully booked, but reservations would be HIGHLY recommended.
