Well the room is absolutely amazing with an incredible view, I stayed 2 night but staff came in the room without knocking , I said to one of them that is not need to clean my room , she came 3 times anyway in the room without knocking , on my last day I was in the bathroom with the open door , an other person came without knocking I said please go out I don’t need anything she still came anyway to check the fridge and come back to fill it!!!! They doesn’t care and the bathroom door was still open, unreal! well no privacy and to relax is really difficult To check out we asked how was my stay : I explained this in the reception : she said that it always like this and she doesn’t seem worried about the situation Well for a 5star I was expected much better, btw the breakfast is really good

Beginning with the booking, there was an issue with their website which did not let me book, called their support, they could fix the issue and told me to expect a callback, nobody called… I had to download the app to book from it, again not possible due to error… I could at least make a reservation with payment at the hotel, for 70 euro more. Also i had a free upgrade from the app to more expensive room, which of course was not available for this dates(strange enough they had them available to book but not to upgrade)When arrived i asked about all this issues on the reception, nothing was done about it and had to pay it, there was nothing they can do about it they said. Also you do not have a parking space, you are charged a decent 30 euro per day. Room service had 3 dishes between 11am and 19pm Next was the dinner at 57 restaurant. The service was poor. Waited about 15 minutes just to take our order. Not to mention the starters dish that is obligatory, one of the dishes was raw. Then tried to pay the bill partly with points from their app. After 5 minutes figuring out how it works, they charged the points and the discount was not even in the bill somehow… Its so luxurious and beautiful yet the service is on a very bad level. I genuinely had another expectation.

Astonishing hotel. Very modern and clean. Super nice reception. Fitness center is a little too small compared to the size of the hotel and the restaurant has some pretty facy dishes on the menue (while all I was looking for was a burger). Breakfast selection was more than great. Would come back for a stay close to the UN or Austria Center anytime. It is a little noisy with all the construction around.

Second time writing as the first review has been deleted. Well, I don´t know where to start. I have stayed in this hotel, 6 times so far, twice with the rewards programme. The hotel says it´s a 5 star resort, which is why we chose it every single time. The problems started when the valet parked our car, turns out, for 45€/day. I´d say, that´s a bit steep, considering, it was just 30 two months ago. Okay, 5 star hotel, I get it. We chose a room, that we´ve stayed in before, to not have any surprises...we still had a lot, not pleasant either. The room wasn´t cleaned properly, the trash was left in the bin and the minibar wasn´t filled. No complementary water for 220€/night also seems a bit unpleasent. The room was dirty, the coffee machine wasn´t cleaned down, the tray it sits on had visible dirt and stains. The cupboard it was sitting on, had huge chunks missing, and stains that I couldn´t really understand. The headboard (bed) had a chuck missing as well. The sheets were left dirty, probably by the previous guest. There were no two matching glasses in the hotel room, nor were we given vanity/dental kits that the hotel says it provides. The curtains were completely dirty and stained white (own a brown curtain that looks terrible). The dirty dishes from room service were left in front of our door, along with ironing boards (TWO OF THEM). Those stayed there for two days, our entire stay. The phone wasn´t working in the room. I don´t think I need to go on, even though I could. This Hotel claims, that it´s `an exclusive hotel experience where you and your wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do`. It´s a joke. The only thing positive is the front desk employee, who was the most understanding and useful in solving issues we had.

Stayed there for two nights. The location is just perfect. Loved the decor and the food from their in house restaurant. The room had a breathtaking view of the city. However, on the second day even upon request they didn’t make the room, which was strange, that kind of threw me off. Other than that, it was nice.

Don’t let the odd low reviews deceive you. Staying at Meliá Vienna was the best choice for my Vienna trip. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The soaps and lotions are from a premium company called Rituals. The staff are friendly, and you are 4 minutes away from the train station. It is noteworthy that at the moment there is construction in front of them, so you will be hearing a bunch of that.

This has been an absolute nightmare. Breakfast is the worst ever. The view is nice, but the windows are producing too much noice at night that we could not sleep. The neighbouring construction sites are numerous so that one cannot find the entrance. Staff is catastrophic. Stay away from this hotel.

One of the most beautiful Melia hotel in Europe. It’s the tallest building in Vienna and one with the most stunning view. The room was quiet and clean. The restaurant on 57 was also very nice with excellence service. Melia should take advantage of this place and invest on staff and service because it could be an extraordinary 5 stats place to stay.

It was our fourth but last stay in this hotel. - requested Company invoice but didn’t received it, - Level room give you nothing extra for the higher price, - room service ordered at 8.00 pm. They informed me that waiting time will be an hour. For 3 bruschetta. At 22.15 pm I called again to ask about the order and they said sorry the room service is not available after 22.00. Than they bring some “cheese plate” (terrible) at 22.30. Not possible to put on to your room bill, you should pay by cash. - when we finished the cheese left the garbage at the floor and there was there on the other day too, - at the bar at level58 there is not possible to put the charge to the room bill at 2023 in a 5 stars property, come on guys. After when I was waiting for a whisky and a coke for 35 minutes. - the worst is the breakfast at level 57. Absolutely not enough employee to provide quality service like what you expected in a 5 stars property. They try to do their best but this is not enough. Coffee? 10-15 minutes. Order from the menu? 25-35 minutes. Clean the tables? 10 minutes. Bring anything (plate, glass, etc) 5 to 10 minutes…

The hotel is very aesthetically pleasing. All very modern and the rooms are very nice with floor to ceiling windows, black out blinds, heated bathroom floor and towel rails and the showers were nice and powerful. The food for breakfast was good with a lot of selection but this is where the good stuff ends. The coffee machines at breakfast kept going wrong. The cup/glass size needed for certain selections wasn't obvious (and sometimes only small ones were available) so you kept just getting a cup of milk and then when the coffee was added it overflowed. Only 2 lifts were working so for a building this size it took forever to go up or down. The aircon in the room couldn't seem to go low enough. The hotel is severely under staffed. I know this is a problem in the industry right now but this was on another level. There was no one about, ever. The people on the front desk were fire fighting constantly. They had to check people in and deal with issues relating to other parts of the hotel. The meetings room we were using were completely mismanaged. The aircon didn't work so they had to buy a aircon unit which needed venting somewhere so they opened a window to pumped the hot air out, however, this just let a ton of hot air back in. The rooms were never ready and set up as requested. Food and drink items were constantly missed. I can't blame the staff that were there really as they were doing the job of 4/5x the amount of people it actually required. The bar downstairs was never open. The location isn't great. Not many bars, restaurants, or anything really in the local area. This experience has severely lowered my trust in the Meliá brand

Although it's a 5-star hotel, the services are not at the standard. The cleaning ladies only take care of the bed and fold the towels, nothing else. At breakfast at the 58th floor, only the Monday team was actually polite and welcoming (we stayed 3 nights, Friday to Monday). Outside the building, there is another tower in construction, so you'll hear the 'action'. Every morning at around 6 a.m., I believe that because of the materials the building is made of, it starts to pop and crackles, and it's impossible not to wake you up.

From 5 star hotel I expected much more. Besides problems with doors to bathroom (they didn’t close and the staff didn’t do anything to fix it even though we told them 3 times! During 3 night stay..) breakfast only “okay” for sure not 5* Location is good, rooms are clean and comfortable especially bed. But problems and the expectations for 5 star hotel makes me give that low mark

It has been one of my best experiences in my entire life. I have been to many hotels and this one has been one of the best in quality/price. All the details were fantastic and when we arrived we were very surprised with a cake and a bottle of cava in our room. We will return in the near future.

Easy access to the U train and the rooms are nice. However, the staff is professional and say they will do something but never solve any issues. They lack communication amongst each other and makes it uncomfortable as a guest. Go out and grab some food because you will not get room service. We attempted to call the reception and the concierge but you are not even able to dial out. There was a steady high pitched beeping sound in the room that was never addressed.

Miserable guest service. I booked this hotel for my mother’s 65th birthday and aligned well in advance with guest relations department (Daniella) about a special birthday treat and regarding the location of the room. My parents ended up without any birthday treat and a room outside a massive construction area waking them up early every morning. This is beyond acceptable and it will not be forgetted.

Great place. Been there in a business trip, and all was really good. Nice room with good toiletries (Rituals). Free coffee machine is a nice bonus. Rooftop restaurant and the lounge are a must.

The rooms are great, Even though the soaps are drilled to the wall Like in a guesthouse - not a five star hotel. The service is the worst, young untrained staff, factually no room service, we ordered a Van back to the airport- no van arrived, room service - never came, and all those little things that just ruin a nice experience. Seems like managment is cutting costa at every corner. Shame because the rooms are pretty.

Hi there, I am still staying in hotel with my son. We checking out on the 3rd January People knock your room without any reason like do you need kettle for water or is cleaning good ? I am experiencing very bad attitude of people especially in the breakfast hall. Reception staff is okay. Myself coming from hospitality background I really think people need more training they treat you with your looks. Or they not experienced. Not willing to make money. Experienced with hotels like grand hotels, imperial was fully booked. We have travelled almost the whole world. I have never experienced such bad Service. People are very unhappy, non cherish, not willing to work, i normally don’t like review anybody but more I am staying in this hotel I m anxious of their attitude. I have paid in full. Can’t wait to check out. Food was delivered cold. They couldn’t charge the food to you room. Restaurant is fully booked they say but who knows who are they letting in. They refuse to wash milk bottle of children. Which I totally understand- it could be done with understanding. I had to beg the lady this afternoon again- she said you need wash again ? I was like because I have baby he like to drink milk. Anyway it’s very rude that’s all I can say. Thank you still I wish you all the luck to improve your service. Many thanks Regards Daman Bakshi

I had a nice room in this quite swanky modern hotel. Good breakfast, had a small fitness suite which was free to use and not busy in the evening

Room was beautiful with a great view of the city and river. There was some slight damage to the table tops and walls, the tv also did not work but everything else was perfect and what you would expect from a 5 star. Interior design was lovely and modern. Service was hit or miss depending on which staff were in. Breakfast did not have too many options from the chefs but whatever choices were there was great. Looks slightly understaffed as room service food trays was left in the hallways for more than a day or two. Enjoyed the stay nonetheless and the location is great as it’s close to the city but not directly in it so there is some privacy and peace and quiet which I value a lot. Was excited as there was a gym only to find out on check in that it was not included with the room and had to be paid for daily use.

first of all i will say the staff and views are exceptional, so the 2 stars only for the personnel. however, thats all. we got the ‘level’ upgrade for 80€ a night extra which gave us access to the breakfast at 57th floor. the breakfast was by far the worst breakfast we have ever had. we been all around the world and have never such a bad experience. the bread was dry. nobody came to ask if we needed coffee or anything. then brought coffee no sugar no nothin to it. this morning i had a spoiled yoghurt which was already sour. we had to clean the tables ourselves. no selection of cheese. plates were empty. then it was my husbands birthday. i called before booking to ask if there was something on the house for the birthday. i was promised 2 glasses prosecco on the house. i checked at front desk 1 day before and they said they didnt know anything but would send someone. today i checked out and had to pay 20€ for the 2 glasses tho they told me beforehand it was free. no birthday letter was written no NOTHING and they knew it was his 40th. no offers nothing. i dont know if thats the standard of the hotel but i will never visit again. nobody ever checked on us to see if we were satisfied. also parking was 120€ for 4 days. the only praise i will give is to the nice room service man who cleaned our room so neat. and james from the lounge at 57 was exceptional thank you so much.

Modern, luxurious hotel complex. Service could be better - seems (younger) staff is sometimes inexperienced regarding correctly managing their own booking system and facility management software. Badges seized to work repeatedely, room TV switched on automatically 3 times 6:45 AM in the morning waking us up - had to pull the power cord to solve. Room service pulls additional badge for having power in the room without being home to charge laptops/electronic equipment while in the town 🤨... Try to visit restaurant and/or bar in 57th floor - breathtaking view over Vienna!

At 2AM I had to wait for invoice and payment must be made in advance. They specified clearly this is not a hotel with stars. This hotel has no stars. This is 5 star services whatever that means. Update answer to reply: no you do not wish to talk with me during my stay because I’m still here :)

I fell in love with this beautiful city last year. So I quickly persuaded my partner to spend a long weekend in Vienna with me. This hotel is just pure luxury. The staff courteous, the food excellent.

  • 1/5 Val M. 1 year ago on Google
When we arrived at the hotel, none of the receptionists were courteous enough to welcome us with a smile. One key card did not work and after going back twice, the key card then worked. The shower was blocked and we spent the first night mopping up after our showers. The room only had 2 coffee pods for a 2 night stay. And to add insult to injury we get charged 11 euro for a cold cup of coffee. This is certainly not five star service.

  • 2/5 Maryam A. 6 months ago on Google
My room had to be changed right after I checked in, as I found two large bugs behind the curtain. Second room was reasonable, however on the third day the cleaning service decided not to clean the room at all. On my first day I asked for an adaptor, the hotel did not have one available- I stayed for 4 days and I checked everyday and still they were unable to provide a single adaptor. The room service options are not great and overly pricy. The breakfast was great and with many variety. Location is close to metro station and commercial offices and there are few shops around. Not ideal location if you want to see the city, but convenient for business in Tech Gate area.

modern and high quality hotel. A few management deficiencies in room 1508: shower head broken, no glasses available and the room was a bit cold. but the reception was very friendly and helpful. we got a heater. Pity the restaurant was closed.

Excellent position with an amazing view over the Danube and the city, the bed was super comfortable, huge windows and a really big room. I also had the The Level Upgrade, so I served breakfast at 57th Floor, which was astounding. The Breakfast buffet was ok, could have been better, fresher and tastier for such a beautiful positioned restaurant.

  • 2/5 Juliana E. 1 year ago on Google
The service and amenities definitely do not correspond to a 5-star hotel, so I felt a bit misled. For a business stay, no notepad, no energy adaptor, pens, none of that in the room. No hair conditioner. I asked for an iron to iron a shirt myself, as I was told the service was not available at night, the iron never came. Tried to order room service at 13:30, but it wasn’t available before 15:00! Cleaning staff coming in the bedroom in spite of a do not disturb sign on the door. I could go on and on. Worse of all, the staff seems badly trained and managed (all very inexperienced and speaking bad or no English). Perhaps all of this is due to the pandemic constraints. Hopefully the hotel will get back to a good level soon.

This hotel is the highest building in Vienna. We went there to start our retirement in style - We were not dissapointed. The hotel exudes style and luxury. It was fantastic experience and I would highly recommend it. We upgraded to "The Level" package which we loved. The level has an exclusive lounge situated on the 53rd floor. Here, we were looked after by a wonderful lady called Yokastha. We were made to feel welcome and loved this lounge and we spent a few hours happily playing games ( available in the level ) with friends. The rooms were nothing short of excellent. They were large, clean and luxurious. The place was pretty much a home from home: It had everything to make you comfortable including toiletries like a shaving razor and a toothbrush. The top of the hotel has the sky bar which apparently is quite popular. I am not sure if it was a bad night (or maybe it just wasn't for us) but we were unimpressed when we went. We found the service slow and almost rude! (and slow! so slow it was worth mentioning twice! :-) ) We didn't stay long and went back to the much more welcoming Level which we found much more to our liking. In every other area of the hotel we found the staff friendly, helpful and courteous and I view the sky bar as something of an exception to an otherwise brilliant stay. The location is beside the growing Austria Centre so there is a bit of building work around. But this does not interfere with the experience as the building is so tall, you can see for miles. Getting in to the city centre ( or for that matter any part of Vienna ) is easy. The metro station is a few meters away and are very efficient. In summary if you are looking for a bit of luxury in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe , I would highly recommend it - especially the Level. It was a fantastic experience and we might well check out the othe Melia hotels to see if they compare!

The hotel interior design especially the room was great, I would rate it as 5 stars. However the service provided is not even worth 3 stars. All of the requests had to be through the reception, which were extremely busy, take time to respond and take time to provide the item. The worst part was when I paid 244 Euro for an extra bed at the reception and then later I was contacted that the bed is not available and therefore I will be refunded within 3-7 days. I am now back home, more than 7 days have passed and I still did not receive my money back! I was really disappointed with the hotel even though many staff in the hotel were extremely friendly and welcoming. I was not happy with my stay due to the above reasons, in addition to other reasons.

The rooms were lovely and in close distance to the acv. The service though should be better. The restaurant/bar was hardly ever open. We could not even get a coffee. We had to order anything we needed on the restaurant through room service. Not a great variety and the food was pretty basic .

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is luxuriously built and furnished with rooms with great views. The main issue is the hotel is seriously understaffed. Whilst it’s somewhat expected post covid for an industry badly hit, this massive 15 story hotel had basically the same dozen or so staff working all shifts as far as I can tell. The net result is 30 minutes wait to check out (queues), front desk that almost never answers, house keeping that’s never answered the phone in the week we’ve been there, hot breakfast items served often after we’ve finished eating , and we had to shepherd our bags when checking out as there was another dozen people in the queue for the concierge to handle. Despite the untimely service described above, I still would give it 4* for service because of how remarkably resilient the staff are. Despite the long shift and hours, they do go out of their way to help in anyway they can. They have exceptional hosts at the restaurant, friendly and smiling staff whom try and accommodate our requests. Our two doggies got toys, a bed, water bowl, and love :) Thank you for having us, and I hope you get the additional staff you need soon.

Suite at The Level was beautiful, but breakfast was a joke. In the highest building in Austria, breakfast is on the ground floor. Melia Barcelona is with perfect views. Here it is ground floor. For a total 60 Euros we got raw eggs when we ordered boiled eggs, a broken coffee machine and - strangest of all - no response from staff (literal silence) when pointing this out.

The hotel is beautiful, the room was comfortable and the view is amazing. The location is also very good, the subway is about 10min walk and then 10min ride to city center. Whatever you do, do NOT get the room service!! The pizza was disgusting, hard as a rock, and way overpriced!! However the breakfast in the buffet was DELICIOUS!! The servers were incredibly nice and friendly. The food was fresh, warm and tasted really good. We had a bad experience when we asked for a taxi reservation for the next day. Come the morning, we get to the entrance and find out the reservation was never completed and we had to run around to try and get a cab at 2 in the morning.

Beautiful room with gorgeous bathroom. From the shower you can see throughout the room outside. There is a speaker from the TV built into roof in bathroom 😱. Other than that, there could be warmer, 26 °C AC is not enough from me. From the big windows you feel cold. Breakfast was average. Service was very good. It was complicated to find hotel parking. Underground station is nearby.

I spent just a night, the room and hotel are clean and neat. The personnel who are working there are polite. but non of these did not encourage me to write the review. the reason I am giving them 5 stars is because of the wonderful guest experience service. I met Daniela Wiesner, she is one of the hotel managers, she is one of a kind; Knowledgeable welcoming, and helpful. I experienced high-quality customer care service with her.

Nice hotel, relatively friendly staff. I recommend this hotel if you're not driving or you want to spend a lot. Negatives that I don't recommend is the high prices for the food sold at the location, the price of drinks in the room mini bar and the car park which costs €30 each night. Overall a very nice place inside the hotel, lovely bed, shower and was cleaned every day. Decent views outside on some angles but a lot of construction work currently ongoing on nearby buildings.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Vienna, and my stay was absolutely amazing, all thanks to the exceptional hospitality of Daniela and Veronica at [hotel name]. From the moment I arrived, Daniela greeted me warmly, making the long hours of travel fade away. Her kindness and personalized attention made my stay truly unforgettable. I want to express special thanks to Veronica, who handled the check-in process exceptionally well. Her fluency in Spanish greatly facilitated communication, and it was a relief to understand all the details seamlessly. Her professionalism and friendliness were noteworthy, ensuring that I felt at home right from the start. The hotel itself exceeded all my expectations, from the impressive facilities to the impeccable service; every detail contributed to an exceptional experience. Moreover, Vienna in autumn is simply magical, and I am grateful for the opportunity to explore the city during this enchanting season. In summary, my heartfelt thanks to Daniela, Veronica, and the entire hotel team for making my stay in Vienna an unforgettable experience. I hope to return soon and once again enjoy the wonderful Viennese hospitality!
