Big rooms with high ceilings and tastefully decorated. Each room features a wine maker and some of their products. The wines we had available were great Bed is big and comfy and the shower is spacious with lots of water pressure Only downside is the heating... The room always felt super dry even with the heating turned off

We stayed here 3 days for a quick holiday .the hotel is near the underground stop ,the room was nice and clean . I suggest to add the buffet breakfast, which was great and all food was from local farmers !

The most creative and interesting hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms are fabulous — more like luxury apartments.

If you want great accommodation, don't recommend. We got old dark room, the shower was horrible- mold, walls inside shower seen better days and the drain inside the shower works extremely slowly so when you stand longer in shower prepare for pool. But the worst part about the hotel were outlets. There were none around bed, only one next to the door and one in a corner next to the wardrobe. But the best part, when you switch off the lights (not electricity but main light) they stop working. So if you want to charge the phone during the night you'll have really unpleasant surprise in the morning. Only good thing was staff and breakfast but otherwise horrible.

Nice and quiet hotel with spacious rooms. The staff is professional and friendly. Close to the metro and the tram and it's easy to go on foot to the Kunsthistorisches museum or the Hofburg . I recommend this hotel.

Don’t go to this hotel if: 1)If you don’t want to wait for someone helping you out in lifting your suitcases by the stairs to get to the reception; Additionally, once you at the desk, no one will tell you that the elevator’s door needs to be opened manually. Take a note, don’t wait for it to open automatically. 2)Don’t come if you don’t like smoking smell at the entrance. The Jorge’s wine bar at the entrance to the hotel apparently causes this. 3)Don’t come to this hotel if you want to get some quality service and help or advice with doing your laundry, especially on a Sunday. A small situation here: Sunday, 9 pm -Can I get laundry somewhere? -No, because all laundry services are now closed. -Does your laundry work by chance? I really need help with this. -Only from 9 am tomorrow but we don’t guarantee it would be ready by the checkout time. -Any help with a heater so I can dry my stuff after I wash it myself? -No. -Any more solutions or suggestions? -No. That was a dialogue with the manager of the hotel. That’s not a service quality or a hospitality level I expected from a hotel that costs 100-200 euros per night. PS: I eventually got my stuff washed and dried at a place nearby after 11 pm that night. Rathaus Wein & Design is not the best place for someone who needs some good service.

Wonderful stay as we had a night layover. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance. The room was very spacious and clean. We didn’t eat at the restaurant on the property but it looked beautiful! If we come back through I would for sure stay here again!

We spent a few nights at the Hotel Rathaus with our family earlier this summer. The design choices for the rooms are, well, bold. We had two rooms-- one for my wife and I and one for our twenty-something children. Both rooms (and I assume all the rooms in the hotel) had clear class shower doors which allow those in the room to see in. While "OK" for my wife and I, it caused one of my children to have to leave the room while the other showered. Strange, but bold. The breakfast was good. Location was OK-- a comfortable walk to the museum quarter, but somewhat of hike further into the city. We used Uber if we were tired or going someplace further away. Services nearby were good with an array of places to eat and a grocery practically across the street. Climate control was OK-- be sure to completely close and lock the windows for the AC to work.

One of the best hotels I have ever been to! The staff are just amazing, so helpful and kind. Especially Gloria, Nina and George who helped us a lot and always with a big smile. There is always coffee and tea available and they will be always happy to bring it straight to your room at any hour of your day! (Even at 3am) The location is quiet but perfect. The rooms are amazing and beautiful. Will defiently come back.!!

Well connected to the center by foot, very spacious, welcoming and helpful staff. Vintage chick style, but rather pricey given that certain details in terms of level of usage of items and cleanness were missing

I booked 2 nights at the Hotel Rathaus Wein&Design for my father as a Birthday present. Unfortunately 1 day before their stay, my father experienced health issues and had to cancel the booking. I booked the rooms without the free cancellation, but I was still disappointed with the reaction of the hotel, not to make a commercial gesture and at least grant us a voucher for the 2 nights, or even just 50% of the booking. Always book with cancellation fee included!

Stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. Very much liked the style of the hotel rooms, reception was friendly and helpful and amazing breakfast was served. Location of the hotel is perfect for sightseeing in the city center- most of the sights are in a walking distance. One the downside, maintenance could be improved a little bit.

Fantastic service, breakfast, location. Watch out, the wine is expensive, but everything else is amazing value, and maybe the wine is too, I’m no expert, but we enjoyed ourselves. Oh, great music too, especially the evenings Flo is working.

😐 The pizza was so good! I’d definitely recommend the place for the people around the area. The atmosphere and the waitress were too nice. The only negative thing about it was the waiting time for someone to come and take my order, and again for someone to bring me the check.
