General problem: on pictures it looks much better than it actually is. Positive: location, price Negative: no parking, breakfast, I got a general feeling the hotel tried to save money on everything (example: instead of useful things, in the bathroom i found 2 sewing kits. There was a duck in the middle of the shower cabin with a price tag 9.9euro). Parking: there is no parking directly at the hotel. You might be lucky to find something one on of neerby streets, or use a public underground parking. Breakfast: after looking at Google opinions and some pictures i expected much better breakfast. In reality the choice is very small. Only the cheapest cereals, bread. Close to none fresh products. From warm options there wäre only "oven eggs", way too done scrumble eggs, and some little sausages swimming in a water. I took a slice of cheese-it tasted like sausage (probably because it was kept close to it too long) Brrr... I am used to getting a much nicer buffet for 15euro.

Location is convenient with very good public transport connections. Service was excellent. We travelled with kids and they enjoyed the stay as well. Highly recommended place to stay.

Very unfriendy staff at reception especially the lead lady (exception is the lady in afternoon shift-very very nice). By reservation was said that parking is in front of the hotel or garage. Not true. In front is if you're lucky you get a spot, garage is 5min walk. Never again. And no "thank you for staying, was all ok"...never again in this hotel!

This boutique hotel stands out with very helpful and polite staff delivering outstand service. The breakfast might seem expensive but when you see the quality and variety of the food, you will agree it is a very good value. The rooms are very clean with lots of amenities including fantastic coffee.

10/10 The best hotel in Vienna hands down. The customer service is the best in Austria. Staff speaks flawless English. We had a problem with air conditioning in our room, and it was solved. They have the best breakfast in the morning with live music and best musicians.

This was an ok place to stay for a short time. The receptionists are friendly and check in/out was smooth. Rooms are ok - clean and simple. Some of the rooms are a bit loud. We stayed one night and it was perfectly fine. Would probably stay again for a short stay.

Service is good, rooms are equipped with everything you need for a short stay. The Location requires some public transport travelling, but the staff are willing to help you navigate around. All around a worthy stay.

Hotel Donauwalzer is one-of-a-kind. Very charming and cozy. Its personnel are also very kind people. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Stayed here for one night. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was clean. There was lots of remodeling going on in the hallway, but our room was nice. The breakfast was amazing, not what I'm used to for an American breakfast but everything was delicious and there were lots of options. There was live music at breakfast and the wait staff was very nice. We did not have to worry about parking since we were only traveling in for a day, but it was not far from public transportation.

Stayed all over the world and this hotels buffet breakfast was the worst I’ve experienced. Chocolate cake, strawberry cheesecake etc at 7am each morning? No bacon or fried eggs? I also asked for them to arrange a taxi to the Airport and they said the fare would be 35 euro’s. The taxi charged me 52 euro’s! I phoned them on my return home and was told they would refund me the difference in the taxi prices. Despite 3 e:mails since they continue to ignore me.

It was my tenth or more visit (I don't count it anymore) and very satisfied - clean room, friendly staff, close to trámway going to the centre of Vienna (cca 20 mins to Opera). I have only one observation - wifi needs to be improved (when watching vídeos, the connection repeatedly broke up).

The visit was fine. However they had ongoing renovations whilst we stayed there, which meant very untidy hallways and workmen there from 8-6. The staff were fine but not particularly friendly or helpful. The parking is adequate, although a little inconvenient as its situated about a 10 min walk from the hotel. We moved to a different hotel down the road called Exe, and it was much better. Parking is onsite, breakfast is slightly cheaper and the staff much more friendly and helpful. In summary this hotel is average even without the renovations going on. I'm not sure why it is rated so well. Adequate, but nothing special. Had a radio playing classical music when i entered my room, which i found a little creepy.

A beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Hotel is very easy to locate and is very close to metro station and many eateries. Tram stop is right infront of the hotel which takes you to the city center. Rooms are very spacious, clean and well maintained with modern looks. I would definitely choose to stay here for my next visit to Vienna!!!

This hotel is my favourite on in Vienna when I'm staying here I feel like I'm at home. Service is amazing, one of the best breakfast served in hotels. Owners are connected with the staff and with us guests and I always feel welcomed.

Bon hôtel, spacieux, et juste à côté de la sortie du métro, Incredible experience in a beautiful location! The view from our room was incredible, we had the full apartment plus a great view of the Val from the private terrace, highly recommended!

Everything about our stay was better than we expected. The bedroom was immaculately clean, bed very comfortable and the jet bath was divine. Excellent value for money, and lovely staff. The breakfast was an absolute delight. Would highly recommend.

Viking cruise booked us at this hotel due to an emergency in missing our sailing. The night attendant,Stephan, was so pleasant and helped us get settled for the night. Made sure we had a morning wake up to be ready for our cab ride to Krems. A very nice young man and I do thank him for his help. An asset for this hotel! Joan and Richard

The hotel's location is superb, situated in the heart of the city with easy access to major attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. It's a perfect base for exploring the beautiful city. This is a fantastic choice due to its prime location, comfortable rooms, and excellent service. I highly recommend it for a memorable stay in Austria.

Lovely hotel. Nice big, clean rooms. Not in a very nice location but handy tram stop just outside. Most staff helpful but don't all speak very good English. One exception was Nora. I can't praise her enough. She was amazing. Even helped us find our room when we thought it had disappeared 😂😂. The down side, nothing is in English. None of the menus, tourist information or maps are in English so we didn't have a clue!.

I can always check in late in the evening, around 8.00 pm, the staff is always very kind and also professional. The room is always clean, comfortable, the quality of the bathroom and the shower is very good. I only find the breakfast price a little high, even though I have to say that is rich and delicious.

Amazing hotel, next to U6 so you can travel anywhere quite fast. Rooms are clean with comfortable bed. Receptionists always smile, they're really kind and helpful. Breakfast is rich & various. We tried private spa, it's unbelievably beautiful, great opportunity to relax. We will come back! :)

We want to thank all the people working at Donauwalzer Hotel! It was a great choice for a stay in Vienna (we went there for one weekend as a couple). The rooms are spacious, very clean, modern. All the people working at the hotel are welcoming and very professional, they were friendly and made us feel at home. The Inner Stadt is at a reasonable distance - 30 minutes walk - but if you prefer to take the U/ bus it is not far. The area of the city is not the fanciest one, but we didn't mind being outside the city center. On top of great rooms, the hotel has a nice patio you can access anytime, and you can enter 24/24! We highly recommend it!

The room was nice, cozy and clean. There were little perks waiting for us in the room. Reception is friendly and is 24h open. The breakfast is exceptionally good, especially I liked the freshly cooked waffles. We are traveling with two kids and the price for the room was reasonable. We will stay there again

Air conditioning was not working even after complaining they didn't switch it on. Cleaner went into the room even when not asked for. Also very overpriced for the kind of accomodations they are offering and services they are providing.

Do not stay. Nightclub on the ground floor. Loud music till 3 a.m. no way to sleep in the rooms above it.

Really well located hotel with a cool aesthetic and nice atmosphere. It takes about 30 minutes to walk into central Vienna which I was very happy with, but its also directly opposite a U station if you'd rather not walk. The breakfast really is excellent, with an amazing variety of high quality foods to enjoy from a buffet. I strongly recommend adding it to your stay. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel there are a number of bars and clubs with an alternative vibe. On the Saturday evening of my stay I was wondering what to do with my evening and noticed that one of the bars opposite (B72) had set up an outdoor stage and seating area. I strolled over and was kept entertained for the whole night by some awesome live music. Unfortunately the aircon in my room did not work and during my stay the weather was extremely hot. I was provided with a fan and informed that it would be fixed the next day, though sadly this was not done. Additionally, I think that some of the furnishings in the rooms do not match up to how nice the aesthetic of the rest of the hotel is - there's a lot of drab particleboard furniture which somewhat reminded me of furniture we had in my student flat. I merely mention these as suggestions for improvement though - I absolutely would stay here again if visiting Vienna.

The hotel has different types of rooms, the location is very good, especially for a business trip, the breakfast is beyond expectations, really good! The attention is great and if you book directly from their website you get not only a better rate but also complementary treats. Totally recommended!

First and last time in this hotel! Location was good 👍 because the tram station was almost in hotel 😂! When we came the reception was so rude! We came and said that we have reservation here… she answered “you room is ready for two o’clock “ that’s all! (We know that you can’t get room eleven o’clock but always you can check in to a hotel and let the bags … ) she show the place where can we leave our bags and that’s all! When we came back two o’clock the service was at the same level. And almost the whole week! There was two another people who say “morning “ and “evening “ to us . We have visited in Vienna several times so we have experience. Our room haven’t a door and the bed was very bad. mattress topper is missing or something. when we left the hotel and handed over the key .. some lady yelled some room “danke” but no asking how we have enjoyed or liked hotel or Vienna…. So we don’t come back in this hotel!
