The biggest advantage of the Stadpatk Hotel is its location - it is only 3 minutes' walk to the subway or train. 10 minutes on foot to the city park. Close to shops and restaurants. The service is professional and very attentive. You can leave your luggage before we receive the room if we arrived earlier and the same when leaving the hotel - when the hotel day ends. The breakfast was tasty and everything fresh - we were very full. The hotel room is modest and without air conditioning, but the price compensates for these small inconveniences, Vienna is an expensive city. We felt great in it and I would choose this hotel again. I heartily recommend.

I stayed here for a few days at the end of May, for a Chaoseum concert which was happening in the city. The owner was lovely and friendly and I was struck by the beautifully decorated lobby from the outset. My room was lovely and comfortable, with everything I needed to enjoy my stay. Breakfast was lovely with lots of options. I enjoyed my stay so much I hugged the owner as I left :) I will be sure to stay here again, on my next visit to beautiful Austria. With love from the UK!

Very clean room in the center of Vienna. Friendly stuff. The room was more than ok, small details in the bathroom for example, the sink was old and the toilet paper holder was unstable and it dropped on the floor. But other than that, it was worth it! I highly recommend it!

Perfect location, simple but clean rooms. Breakfast is fair. But the young guy in the reception should probably not work in the service sector.

TELL THEM IF YOU HAVE MOBILITY ISSUES. There is an elevator but many rooms require a few stairs. (Not all.) Five stars for the double room and three stars for the single room. The breakfast is not worth it. The location is nice because you can walk to all the nice stuff but you can eat cheaply next door at the mall, if you want. Steps away from the station (the mall). I had a pretty major issue and the staff resolved it, I was very appreciative of that.

Location is good, near the Wien Mitte station. BUT, the workers aren’t, they aren’t in a good attitude. They keep watching you when you are having breakfast, which make you feel uncomfortable. Feeling like the table is not enough and they want you to left ASAP. The hotel room are not satisfying either… doesn’t feel clean, old , rusty, yet charging people a super high price. Worst hotel ever

The hotel is several stories up from the street entrance, so don't be alarmed when you walk in and only see a flight of stairs and a lift. Very quiet and comfortable with a continental breakfast from 7:30-9 in a beautiful little dining room. The bed was wonderfully soft, the service quiet and polite, and, just to note, the walls are not soundproof. Overall, highly recommended.

I travel through Vienna a few times a year and highly recommend this place. Service is great, really friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, particularly if you transit from the Airport to Wien Mitte, which that puts you in a much better location than Hauptbahnhof. It's a basic hotel and that is reflected in the price, but the convenience is just perfect.

Word of advice if you are a South Asian woman traveling alone please don't stay at this place!!! The only plus point about this place is the location, it's a walkable distance from the train station and 20 mins from the main attractions in Vienna. However, I had a very bad experience at the hotel. I stayed there for two nights and had a double bedroom witb a private bathroom. The reception can be unattended and even you ring it no one shows up. They aren't very responsive. The place is run by men and I didn't see any females staff. The room has old furniture and you get a small fan which barely did any help during the hot and humid days. There is a tv but everything is in German so it was of no use to me. The breakfast was cold and there are not a lot of options. I would suggest not tonopt that in case you are planning to, there are a lot of restaurants near the place. My major issue was with the staff. I had a very unpleasant and uncomfortable incident. The person in charge of breakfast as repeatedly rude with me. I am originally from south Asia, and I felt that I was being treated differently then all the other guests at breakfast (you can imagine the reason why). The second day I almost didn't go, but when I did I was reading the news on my phone. Apparently you are not supposed to use your phone during breakfast (ridiculous rule to begin with) but I assumed it was for calls. This person came close to me and to get my attention poked me instead of saying excuse me or something. You CANNOT and SHOULD NOT touch someone without their consent no matter who you are and what the reason is. This person violated my space and then rudely told me not to use my phone. I was just reading on it not even using it. If you can provide reading material in different languages to be more inclusive I would have taken that. Anyway, I wrote to the property they completely ignored my concern. I left as soon as I could. It's not nice to be treated this way when you are a paying guest minding your own business.

Yes, the rooms are clearly dated. The service is good. The staff friendly. After all: the location is a winner! I would love to offer my help and bring that pension in to the “new century”!

Is all about the location! Very close to the main station, east to find, working lift (otherwise several stairs) Booked a double room, size of the room was surprisingly big (room 1). Good shower, just takes a while for the water to drain. Comfortable bed, just had one pillow, some available but without covers (no thank you). Breakfast was very simple, couple of choices of bread, ham and cheese slices, boiled egg, cherry tomatoes, cake slices, 3 options of cornflakes, coffee and tea options. Some of the staff were great, just evening staff was rude. Overall a good stay. As a solo traveller this place was safe and secured. Room was clean on arrival and cleaned during the stay. Just watch out for the additional 20% charge if check in after midnight and €20 charge for check-in after 10pm You can leave luggage if needed at no extra charge

Great location, staff were great. Room was nice and functional. We had a delayed flight but reception stayed open late to meet us, it did cost €20 though.

Amazing! We found this hotel by chance although it is the best choice in central area which is close to metro and train station . Our room was really big ,comfy clean and safe. The staff and manager are really kind polite and caring about guests. Again thanks so much for your hospitality and making very nice memorable trip for all of us. From : safoura mohamed & ryan

The staff is very nice and kind. The location is very great, only 100 meters away from the central station. Many cafe and restuarants around the area. I rate full score as the hotel meets my expextation for the price and convinience. It is hard to afford this price with the same qualification in Vienna (distance, cleanness, facility, etc.). The hotel is old style, which I love it for the Vienna touch. The elevator is up to the front office, for single room, need to carry luggage up one floor by wooden stairs. Only thing to be aware is the summer trip. It is normal in Europe for no air-conditioner. Thus, please avoid the trip in summer, only fan is privided.

Bathroom is an add-on to in the middle of the room (I guess the floor was office space before it turned to a pension). It had bad plumbing. The twin bed had a hard frame for each mattress which was not for a couple cuddle together. The ceiling had cracks which were fixed but they didn't repaint the ceiling to hide it.

We came to this place because we had booked this place to store our luggage via the app LuggageHero. Upon arrival, the employee informed us, that they are no longer working with LuggageHero and that we should just cancel the reservation. Of course, you still have the chance to leave your luggage there. For higher prices than the app that had led us there originally would have charged. This seems very shady, however we decided to take the offer due to time pressure. No receipt and a warning that they'd only accept cash when picking up the luggage later. When we picked it up a few hours later, the now different employee had -surprise- not enough change in cash. This is highly unprofessional when offering a service that can only be paid in cash. Also highly unprofessional was the behaviour of the employee, who acted very rudely. To be fair, he offered me a small souvenir instead of the missing change. However this would have absolutely not been worth the missing change. If not for a few other guests that came by and happened to be able to change money for the employee, I don't know how this interaction would have continued. Long story short, very bad experience. Don't drop your luggage there. Just choose another place or drop it at the luggage storage in the Wien Mitte station.

A bit small but totally ok for shorter stay with very fair price and tasty breakfast included. The room was clean and also wi-fi worked well. The owner of pension was very kind. If I will need to stay in the same location, I will come back.

Lovely Pension very close to transport & airport train. I travel alone & often get the little corner room and this time was no exception. Small room, good shower but small bathroom overall. Only complaint was that this room was hot (T 26-28C outside) ... sleep was uncomfortable , kept waking up in a sweat. Breakfast was really good and set me up for the day. A fridge was a real bonus as there's a big supermarket only a block away at Wein Mitte. A couple of small lounge alcoves for reading, planning your day, getting you out of the bedroom . Staff helpful and friendly. Definitely wld stay here again.

Tourist from the US: The location is why I gave this place 2 stars. The location is unbelievable. Steps away from the metro. Everything else was not up to par. We had to pay for the room before we even saw it. When we handed him our credit card, he looked worried and asked if we had cash. We didn't so they reluctantly used their credit card machine. When we saw the room, we didn't expect the Ritz-Carlton (it was a pretty cheap hotel) so our expectations were in check. However the longer we stayed in the room the more we realized the issues. The first thing we noticed was all the chairs were draped in tablecloths. Not seat covers... Tablecloths. The shower is normal size (and mustard yellow not a big deal but you should be warned) but there are two "seats" that substantially reduce the size of the shower. There was a clock tower outside of our room so every hour and half hour the bell would ring from 7a until 10p. After our first night, the attendant said we had to pay 30€ more because 2 people were staying in the room. We both were there when we checked in and both walked in to the room together, so it was a little weird for him to backtrack. When I went to pay the 30€, I was met with another face of confusion when I handed him my VISA credit card. I was asked if I could pay in cash. I said no. He then called what I can only assume was the manager and ask him. The manager asked again if I could pay cash. I repeated my response. Then they reluctantly took my credit card. 10/10 wouldn't stay again. Even though the location is unbelievable!

+: very convenient location, friendly staff, descent price -: shabby and flimsy furnishings, ill fitting furniture in the room (furniture and room fixtures like doors get in each other's way) causing some inconvenience. Overall a good stay. Has everything I needed.

Low class hotel. The big advantage is the location. Near by food to all places to see. Do not make reservation for the apartment. It is at the ground level, not very clean with noisy gas heater located in the bedroom!!! The breakfast is with products bought by the near low cost supermarket. The coffee is awful. No daily cleaning. The staff is only men from middle East . If you are looking just for a bed and shower this is your place. Easy access to all main transport connections.
