The room was dirty (dust). We had to wipe up all the dust. The carpet was also not the cleanest and smelled. However, unlike the room, the bathroom was very clean. And the breakfasts were very very tasty. They had many choices.

Sadly there is a deal breaker: Uncomfortable beds. like sleeping on a sofa (or an old mattress) and to make it worse, they put a plastic mattress protector that made the bed hot and even more uncomfortable. WiFi so so. Bathroom is adequate size with plenty of shelves and hanging space but Water pressure is a too weak. Less than 1/2hr walk to “mid-town”. Terrible TV. Non responsive remote, loose cable connection and only German speaking channels. The receptionist claimed that they have a problem but it was not fixed during our week stay… Breakfast - what you would expect from a 4 star hotel in Europe but - the bread selection/replenishment and taste was a little disappointing. Excellent soundproofing, even from the hallway. One small, old and slow elevator for 6 floors.

This hotel was just amazing. I booked four rooms for our family and everyone was just so impressed. The lobby was beautiful with some original art on the walls and a small courtyard as well. The breakfast spread (included with the room charge) was large and amazing. The hotel is a bit further from the center than I expected. I'd never been to Vienna so didn't really get how big it is). I was hoping we could walk to the center to see sights. It was fine for some, but an Uber is easier. Highly recommend this place for the fantastic rooms at a great price. Thanks!

Lovely hotel with great service. Located a 5 minute walk from Prater park and a 25 minute walk away from the City Centre. There is an under ground station just round the corner from which you can easily get to the city centre. Very helpful staff and good breakfast.

Most importantly - the hotel staff is simply great, without exceptions! Everyone is so charming, smiling and willing to help with anything. They even upgraded our room on their own initiative and without asking from our side. The hotel is very quiet, clean, modern and tidy, and the breakfast is excellent and rich. The location of the hotel is very convenient. It's located a 5 minute walk from the Prater station (Praterstern), which has two metro lines leading to the entire city (U1/U2), and also has the S7 line, that leads to and from Vienna airport. In addition, the "Prater" amusement park is just a few minutes' walk from the hotel, which is also really nice

Great hotel! Rooms are clean and super comfortable. The staff is kind and I've received by them the best suggestions on what places to visit and where to eat. Also the breakfast is very good and with a good variety. Totally reccomended!

Going for the 1st time to Vienna, staying at Der Wilhelmshof was definitely a great decision. The hotel is modern and has all the amenities and services you'll need. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. We loved the breakfast since it was so diverse and delicious. Location although not super central, it's very good and close to the subway.

Hotel should not have 4 stars. Ok for maybe 3 stars. Not worth the price tag! We will surely not return! CLEANLINESS - 1 of 10 -Dust an dirt everywhere (see picture with dirty paper towel after cleaning the table) -Room carpet was not waccumed for long time. It also smelled badly - Room carpet was really warn out -The whole room smelled badly - The whole room (furniture, wall paint, doors...) was really warn out -The hallways smelled badly - Warn out paint in the hallways - Very small and uncomfortable beds (worn out soft) -Bathroom was generally clean, but shower started to develop black mould (see photo) LOCATION - 8 of 10 - Walking distance from Prater BREAKFAST - 8 of 10 - Very tasty food - Lots of food to choose from From other comments I understand that some rooms were renovated. Well we would choose to stay in that room if management would inform us of the choice. From our experience I can assure you that our room was not even cleaned properly let alone renovated. No apologies from management will replace ruined experience.

Very nice hotel in Vienna. The subway stations Nestroyplatz or Praterstern are only a 5-minute walk away. The rooms are clean and modernly furnished. Shower gel, shampoo and body lotion are available. Our room had a bathtub with shower. You can regulate the room temperature yourself. The breakfast is particularly noteworthy. There are 2 fully automatic coffee machines and filter coffee available. There is a large selection of bread, rolls and pastries. There is also a small selection of gluten-free baked goods. Sausage and cheese are available as well as smoked salmon. All the staff were extremely friendly and courteous.

Most perfect room (junior suite) EVER for my family of 3 ( 2 adults and a 12 year old). Could have comfortably accommodated another child too. The room was just so spacious, clean and replete with natural air and sunlight. Bathrooms and toilets are separate and spacious, as well. Staff was wonderful - service was great - breakfast spread was nice Only issue that some folks may have is ramps fpr accessibility and one small rickety elevator. However, given how wonderful our overall experience was, I'm willing to overlook these nits and would still rate it a 6 on 5

We had the pleasure of staying at this very surprisingly chic and comfortable hotel, conveniently located within a manageable walking distance from the city center. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring a warm welcome. The rooms were a true delight, boasting a modern, clean, and chic aesthetic with some unique decor touches that added character. The ambiance allowed for a peaceful night's sleep, thanks to the relatively quiet surroundings. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast buffet, which was impressively well-stocked, offering a variety of options to kickstart the day. We indulged in hearty, nutritious breakfasts each morning, setting the perfect tone for our exploration of the city. In all, this hotel provided a memorable and comfortable experience, making our trip even more enjoyable. We look forward to returning in the future.

Great hotel - we (family of 5) loved the design and conveniency of the rooms, the sitting area in the lobby is awesome, professional and pleasant service, good restaurants around and good location by the Prater area.

    - Great position, few minutes from the Prater and super close to the city center. - Personal super nice - Big room, clean and renovated -Very good breakfast A bit pricey, but we had a great time! And bonus point: they noticed it was my mum’s bday and they left some candies and a card wishing her happy bday in our room💗

We had a lovely time in this hotel. Every thing was superb. I will highlight a few things: cleaning, the hotel staff, breakfast (excellent), very good location (close to S7 - airport train, close to city center - 2 subway stations). If I return to Vienna I know already the place where I will check-in :). Thanks!

Lovely, quiet and clean hotel. My only real complaint was no free bottles of water and no iron in room (for understandable reasons). This is near the "kosher" area, so good for us, but a little far from lively areas - if kosher is not a necessity I would have preferred to stay in a more "action" neighborhood. There is a train station within few mins walk - overall good area. P.s. the breakfast looked very nice, a lot of variety...didn't eat there but it seemed clean and high quality

A very nice hotel establishment, nearby a central underground train station. The surrounding area is good and you can get easily anywhere without too much hassle. The hotel staff was excellent in any aspect. All inside areas were new so apparently it is a fairly new hotel and not like the ones that run throughout the years without renovation. Only dark spot in our stay there, is their policy ( which you have not been made aware) of charging extra 50 euros if you want to move in the room before 15:00 when you arrive, even though the room is available.??? What a way to make 50 extra euros! Fortunately there are lockers available where you can leave your luggage.

Big room, clean place, big bathroom. There were some problems with the ventilation system, too noisy, and difficult to stop. You have to wait a bit until it stops. The food was good, but no diversity, same scrambled eggs every morning.. And the coffee could also be better..

Booked 06-09/04/2022. Very friendly and helpful staff, cosy room, comfortable be, modern bathroom - everything's clean and tidy, nice balcony with a wonderful view, nutritious and tasty breakfast included. Great location - not far from the Praterstern (3 minutes walk) and Nestroyplatz, three supermarkets nearby, cafes and shops. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel! Great guys at the reception desk!

Lovely hotel very clean and the breakfast had a good selection and was nice, the staff were very nice and helpful, the room is small for a family 4 , and spending 4 nights on a couch bed not the best.

The biggest credit goes to the staff, which are all very friendly. The breakfast was absolutely amazing with the best choices that I have seen for a while. The whole hotel is very clean and rather charming. The room had a few little snags that could do with dealing with but over all I give it a five stars for the overall experience and for the fact that my children eat their weight in the complimentary apples that they have at the reception 😅 Thank you 🙏🏻

A hotel that certainly goes the extra mile! The effort they made to provide both Vegan and Gluten Free breakfast to meet our dietary requirements was astounding. They provided really nice vegan and gluten free chocolate cake which tasted sooooooo good. Also provided vegan and gluten free bread, cold cuts alternatives. Provided extra for lunch for day trip to Salzburg. Good location, about 30 minutes walk to Vienna Opera House. Close to underground and tram station. Provided large umbrellas for when it rained. Eco friendly, super helpful staff. They have a minimalist touch to their rooms which makes them efficiently functional. Great hotel away from all the noise near the centre but at the same time not too far from the centre. Definitely recommend.

The location was perfect for us as we know Vienna very well and we just got there for a weekend getaway. It is close to the Prater station from/to where there is a train from the airport with very cheap and convenient just 27 min ride. The (pleasant) walking distance to the city centre of about 20 min or a direct subway line. Very quite and peaceful neighbourhood. The room was very spacious and very clean - we got the room 101. Though it was the first floor it was absolutely quite from both the noise in the corridors/lobby and the streets. The breakfast has excellent choice. There is a garage under the hotel with the direct access to the hotel and a self-service luggage room where we kept ours on the day of checkout. The sustainability program of the hotel is also a great plus! Just a minor comment: there was a strong smell of kitchen during the breakfast time.

We had a wonderful and relaxed family weekend thanks to the amazing welcoming hotel staff. From the first moment of the booking and throughout our stay all staff members, including reception, bar, kitchen, cleaning, all of them were there to make our stay enjoyable and happy and to accommodate to all our needs (our son had his birthday and we had a lot of organization…). The design is charming, everything was clean and comfortable. Rooms are spacious. Few minutes walk from Prater, which is absolutely perfect with 3 young kids. Great restaurants 3 minutes from the hotel. Generous, fresh and tasty breakfast. Happy friendly staff always willing to help. We had a blast! Definitely coming back!!!

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It's a short walk to the subway and then just two short stops to the center of the city, so the location is perfect. The neighborhood is quiet - slept with open windows with no noise. Restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries, etc. all nearby. The included breakfast buffet is generous and a great way to start the day before exploring Vienna. Hotel is clean and staff very friendly - all in all a great value and experience!
