Definitely the food was good but in addition I want to highlight a few points here. - this is the 2nd place I saw in whole Europe who serves water, 1st I saw in Paris that was also an Indian restaurant. Otherwise in Europe they don't serve free water. - I like the display of their hotel name with Indian flag. - Also in restrooms they had kept Indian attire figures of male-female, I liked that too. These small things/initiatives keep your Indian culture alive, also these values reach internationally. And when I told this to restuarant manager, he felt really happy and said in 3yrs first time he heard this. So if we like something we should appreciate it, in a way they also get motivation to do more good things. Also, I got to know that on Diwali they give free sweets to all customers and also gives a pamphlet with a small description of Diwali. I appreciate this too and thanks for your service. Cheers!

The food was very delicious however the sweet lassi was out of the world. The pulao rice was also tasty. You can decide for the level of spicy you want and if you’re not much used to it, I’d recommend level 1 or 2 of spicy for you. What I also liked was that they’d serve the dishes at your table on a tiny oven which keeps the food warm. It’s a little far from the centrum and right behind the Karlsekirche church. It is definitely worth the visit if you want to try some Indian dishes.

They are really good when it comes to quantity , quality , authenticity , without a huge price tag . But, as someone whose been visiting them and also ordering from here forever now , I would highly recommend to eat at the restaurant than ordering food delivery . I recommended their Samosa, paneer tikka /Pakoda , their sabzi and chicken tikka masala. The veg thali is amazing too . Do try their deserts.

Best Indian food had in a while. Can’t ask for more than freshly made good food when we walked in late night 20 mins before kitchen was closed. Both dishes were perfectly spiced with the right amount of spiciness. Naan was very delicious. Waiter was very friendly and patient. We originally sat at a 2-people table, but when he saw that we didn’t have enough space to put all the food, he pulled another table despite that would increase his cleaning work right before closure, which we appreciated his dedication in service.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at an Indian restaurant in Vienna, and I must say that it was an incredible experience. As a vegetarian, I decided to try their vegetarian thali, and I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for an enjoyable evening. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and were attentive throughout my dining experience, ensuring that I had everything I needed. When the vegetarian thali arrived at my table, I couldn't help but be amazed by the vibrant colors and mouthwatering aromas. The thali consisted of a delightful assortment of dishes, each bursting with authentic Indian flavors. From the fragrant basmati rice to the perfectly cooked lentils and aromatic curries, every component was a true culinary delight. What I appreciated most about this restaurant was their attention to detail and commitment to providing a variety of flavors. The thali included a generous portion of different vegetable curries, perfectly balanced with spices and herbs. The flavors were rich and distinct, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chefs. The restaurant's dedication to using fresh and high-quality ingredients was evident in every bite. The vegetables were cooked to perfection, retaining their natural flavors and textures. The accompanying naan bread was soft and fluffy, and the side dishes, such as raita and pickles, added a delightful tanginess to the meal.

We were here in Vienna on travel only for 2 days but came across this restaurant on our way. The amazing aroma of spices just made us crave indian even though we didnt plan on it. The food was absolutely amazing specially the paneer butter masala. Our host Mr. kudrat was very kind and hospitable. Overall it was an awesome experience and I would recommend this restaurant for Indian food lovers!

MUST TRY!! To get you to experience Indian hospitality and food, is something they have take to heart. Very sensible host. Their rice kheer transcended me to my childhood where our sweet Punjabi neighbour used to make it exactly the same. The food was hitting the right spice level, no food colours, not excessive grease, it was homely perfect.

We ate in 2 restaurants in vienna. This one was good and best. Non veg : We ate briyani(lamb & chicken ) it was good .. we can't expect like south Indian , this one was good and better than which we had in other restaurant. Starters quantity is less that was super especially fish Tikka. We took 2 plates as it was 3 piece per plate. Prawn and chicken malai tikka starters were ok.. Veg: Paneer Tikka was superrr. Naan was too good. Mango lassie , lemon soda all super. The hotel serve/presentation is good with candle light and food gravy/briyani pan served with candle light below. Cost : We checked 3 restaurants this was cheaper than all other restaurants. 8 members : 105 euros this one(we took 2 starters extra) and same other restaurant 133 euros. Overall : Very Good and recommended.

DON’T GO HERE, If you are an Indian. If you are not an Indian and don’t know what Indian food is like, you might like it but this restaurant is not a representation of true Indian food or hospitality. OVERHYPED FOOD! In India it would feature in WORST places to visit. Food taste: Pathetic and bland. This is not what Indian food stands for or actually is. Please don’t estimate Indian food basis their food. Service: Worst of all. Weirdly speaking staff with absolutely POOR ETIQUETTE . The head chef himself was serving and was losing his cool and gave a lot of attitude unnecessarily. They served us water in a plastic beaker (pictures attached) Atmosphere: We sat outside and that was the only good thing but that has nothing to do with this restaurant but everything with Vienna. Overall: WASTE OF MONEY

Bad bad. Not so much the food but the service. There was a very long wait and the food was actually ready and simply nobody was bringing it to us. Also the waitress was a bit not focused and brought two things wrong to us and also to the people next to us.

Very tasty food. Prompt and attentive service. Friendly staff. A little pricey (most dishes EUR 15+, thalis EUR 20), but felt worth it. I requested that the goat curry in my thali be replaced with a vegetarian option and they were happy to accommodate :)

Good place to have near authentic Indian food. Service was very good, flexible in preparing the dish too. Be careful with the spice level you ask for: medium is actually a bit spicy; if you ask spicy Indian style, it gets very hot. Vegetarian thali is a good choice, to sample multiple items. The mango sweet dish was very well prepared.

Food was okay. I did ask for something with very minimal gravy, however didn't got served one. It was suggested later, I should have ordered Tikka Masala. But then it was already too late. But nice food and good staff.

Yummy 😋 food and friendly atmosphere. Traditional style thali is a must try here, additional to your favorite dishes. The mango cream is so exotic & smooth in taste. I loved it. Highly recommended if you are around and looking for deliciousness.

A great indian restaurant! The gahi vada starter portion was so special and tasty! The main dish was full of flavour and the naan bread that came with it was perfectly savoury. The waiter geeta was an absolute sweetheart and the fact we got special dishes on the house really made the visit all the more enjoyable! Do note they charge 2 euros for the table setting...

Had one of the best taste Indian food in Europe. It's like authentic Indian food. The level of spice is what you search in Europe and this place matches it. Soothing Indian music, beautiful ambience. Loved it. The way people treat you here is cherry on the cake. Cheers to the team!!
