Simple food, one of the best and quick service! Even tough it’s crowded most of the time, the service is quite fast.

Tasty and quality food for a fraction of the price is absolutely amazing these days. For Rs.80/- we can have an unlimited meals. Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian are served here. Place is small but packs so many people. Near Gandhi nagar, Vijayawada

Loved the food here, authentic and tasty. Even though the items are limited, they are tasty & good. Comes at reasonable price, they do have mini meals which is good for kids. Seating is comfortable and sufficient. Staff is friendly & helpful. Parking will be tricky for 4 wheeler, its a busy road. Not sure if they have digital modes for payment, going largely by cash.

It was good when it started in early 2000’s. Quality, taste and hygiene has come down drastically. I was there here for dinner, what I have observed is they were serving all the morning stuff and not the fresh ones. Please have a look at the pics I posted you will understand. When I was eating food there, person in the counter was shouting at the staff very badly and disturbing people who are eating the food. Premises was not at all clean and messy. Hardly there were 5-10 customers. Sweet what they served was good, other than the sweet nothing was good..

Went there just to see why the place is so popular and has so many good reviews and very much understood the reasons. I am giving the place 5 stars for the following reasons: 1) The uncle at the counter was so down to earth and was giving tokens with a smiling face which itself made me feel home. 2) The tables & chairs although may not feel premium but definitely have a cozy 90s vibe to it.They reminded me of my childhood. 3) The food serving guys treat you not like a customer but like a relative…that’s how they serve you. 4) THE TASTE…as everyone knows, the taste is super good and homely. 5) The food quantity & quality along with items they offer makes it worth 110 rupees. 6) Last but not the least…the place is super clean and hygienic…may it be the tables, glasses, water jugs or even the hand wash sink…everything is neat and clean. Thank you to the Sarovar mess for not just the food but also for a great learning of how exactly one should run a business.

Good Veg meals served on bannana leaf. Few side dishes to start with tamarind rice, then white rice with sambar, Rasamand curd. Love the papad and sweet. 100/plate. Hotel provides parcel at 160/2. Neat. Owners ensure you have satisfied meals Youcan pay via UPI or cash. Sanitizer is there at the entrance. Separate place for picking parcels. Will return back to have meals here.

Awesome restaurant. Feels like you are back to olden days as the building is pretty old style. The food was awesome except there was more salt in lemon rice. Otherwise all the items are delicious. If you visit Vijayawada, must visit this place.

Old South style food served here, Previously it was good, Now they had raised price to 100 rs for a meal, and decreased items, sweet also not given (u can see in the pics), Anyway taste was good,pure vegetarian. Crowded and small place soo totally congested.

Best ever Meals I have ever eaten for just ₹100. The service is excellent and the food is awesommme and worth for the money we pay for. Highly recommended for a Lunch. Promising you that you will experience 6 tastes in your Toungue. The view from outside may be normal, but the Meals, beleive me it's delicious as heavens❤️

Just amazing ✨ ABOUT THE FOOD , it was so tasty,loved every dish and I enjoyed eating on the banana leaf It felt as if I was part of a joint family, this place was giving such a homely feeling. ABOUT THE SERVICE They were taking care of each and every customer equally inspite of being so crowded. I was actually travelling that day and my bottle was empty , one of the waiter saw that and helped me fill my water bottle. ABOUT THE ATMOSPHERE There is table service on ground floor and buffet system on first floor ,if you go on rush hours then you should wait at least for 15 min and there is no separate family section, it's all mix zone . The infrastructure looks like the hotels we see in the old movies. Just loved it ✨

Went here for lunch and it was packed!! There was a steady stream of people going in and out of this house-turned-restaurant. They offer affordable all-you-can eat vegetarian meals. All the items offered were tasty and spicy, as one would expect in Telugu cuisine. A must visit for authentic Telugu food if you're in the area.

Today I went to the sarovar mess it's very rush to get the token, finally I ate one meal, they provide pappu, one dry curry, one fry, sambar, rasam, curd, papad, sweet, Food quality and taste is ok but one meal cost 120 rupees Iam shocked to this price. Finally my obinion is no need to pay 120 rupees on this meal.

Sarovar Mess takes you to an old piece of history resting comfortably within the thick bed of wet banana leaves adorned by colourful stories and savoury recipes once prepared by our grandmothers.

Eating at Sarovar Mess was like eating at home. Superb, tasty food. Great service. Homely atmosphere. Very reasonable price (Rs. 130) for a very, very satisfying full meal.

This place sells you hot freshly cooked tasty South Indian traditional food for just 120 INR as of September 2023. The food is great with at least 10-15 varities of dishes. I liked the comfortable simple dining space that they have provided. I like the feel of the dining area, as it puts you to feel at home being here. The ghee n podi that this place serves is amazing. I guess I could eat a little more at this place... Than usual, because the helpers and waiters here enjoyed to serve you good food and food portion n size. They serve with the understanding to want to serve to your appetite n beyond.. They serve with love!

Rice is not cooked well. ONLY 70% cooked, and the ladies fingers curry is very hard we can not eat .

One meal costs 110 Rupees. Only Vegetarian available. Nearer to Babai Hotel and Vijayawada Railway station (3 Kms from Railway station) Ambience of the Hotel is just Okay.

You can get a homely food here. The meals are just amazing and simple. Varieties of dishes of South Indian cuisine are available in the meals. The price is also very reasonable. Almost the people who knows about sarovar mess prefer to take a meal here

All I can say is Delicious food 😋 that you must try and must visit and experience there service at very low cost 😍

Everything about this place is just perfect: - the food: almost better than home-cooked food - the service: the people who serve are more than happy to serve you more, and seem to understand what you need next. Food for small children is free. They even gave a separate packed a small parcel pulihora for free, since my child was sleeping then, and refused to charge separately for it. Overall a rare gem of a hotel, in these busy times!

Good homely food. I enjoyed each time I want there. This is my daily lunch place. Place ambience is not that great. But food is safe to eat. Been there several times now...its consistent . I will continue to go to this place. Again this place is not for fancy or ambience. Just simple vegetarian standard meals
