I
don't
often
have
a
chance
to
have
lunch
here,
but
when
I
do,
it's
delicious
and
portions
are
generous.
The
vegetarian
options
are
good
and
there
is
a
fair
amount
of
choice.
More
often
I'm
here
for
cake
and
tea
or
coffee.
The
cakes
are
enormous
and
irresistible,
invariably
delicious.
There
is
a
good
selection
of
tea,
about
which
the
staff
seem
fairly
knowledgeable,
and
the
coffee
is
excellent.
I
once
had
a
strange/unfriendly
experience
with
a
member
of
staff,
but
that
was
months
ago
and
I've
not
seen
him
in
the
cafe
again.
Apart
from
that
single
incident,
the
staff
are
friendly
and
warm;
it's
counter
service
so
I'm
not
really
sure
what
more
one
could
ask.
They
take
care
over
the
drinks
so
it's
not
always
instant.
Gives
you
time
to
look
around
and
find
a
seat
(it's
rare
for
that
to
be
difficult:
it's
quite
a
big
place).
The
only
real
problem
is
that
(I
think!)
the
toilets
are
inaccessible
by
wheelchair
-
they're
next
door
in
the
basement
of
the
attached
hotel.
Maybe
I
just
didn't
spot
the
lift.
Good
place
to
wait
for
a
train
at
nearby
Euston
or
King's
Cross,
or
to
have
a
meeting.
