Spacious trail I have ever walked on. Didn’t need to compete with the bikers. So quiet and shaded. Great Summer location to hike. Little short only 3 miles. But will be back to try those intermediate level trails. Should add up to 5 miles.

Wonderful path perfect for walkers and cyclists alike. The parking situation is kind of crazy though, if you do not live nearby you may have trouble getting a spot.

Beautiful place with great trails and the gorgeous, lazy Chattahoochee River. So many people though. Take the back trails, it’s less crowded.

Great biking trail - highly recommend. Great pace and just enough roughness to make it interesting without having to dismount or worry about going to the hospital.

Great place to walk, run by the beautiful and serene banks of river. There are some trails which had fun steep inclines and decent. Woods with happy birds chirping and sight of deers.

Great place for a jog or walk. Gravel paths so wear good traction shoes. Clean bathrooms also which was good to have.

Nice hike after a long time. Been dreading to go out but it was a nice sunny day today and perfect for a hike. We just did a 3 mile loop and spent some time at the lake with the geese. Had fun seeing the kids play with the bars and the warm weather made me happy and fuzzy. Here’s to more hikes in 2021!

OMgoodness...amazing place to hike!!! Have been hiking here for a few months. Beautiful trees that provides myriads of shade. The only drawback is the entire area consists of only 3 miles. Otherwise, this is the perfect place to bring the entire family. I [HIGHLY] recommend visiting this lovely, picturesque outdoors landscape!!!

Parking is limited, but usually you can find a spot. The main trail is wide and flat and fit for bikes, strollers and pedestrians. But we especially liked the short, pedestrian-only trails that branch off. Most all of the trails are in the shade all day, which is great in the warmer season.

  • 5/5 Dean L. 4 years ago on Google
Nice walking trails. This mixed-used family and pet friendly park is great for walking, hiking and biking. We walked the loop trail that follows along a buried pipeline, then loops over to follow the river. The river area offered several scenic views from wooden viewing platforms. We visited on a weekday morning when the park wasn't very busy. However, we've seen the parking lot on weekends, and that was enough to keep us away. Nice trail links to an extended hiking trail system in other parts of the National Recreation Area.

They increased the fees but still have car-busting potholes in the parking lots!?! The main trails themselves are nice. The offshoot trails are overrun.

  • 4/5 Lauri P. 2 years ago on Google
Great place to run, walk and bike. Unfortunately, they blocked off all access to the river. It used to be a great place to bring your dogs and let them get in the water. It also used to have a clearing for people to picnic and a restroom area. Those are the reasons for only 4 stars.

Great trail. Very pretty. Easy with little elevation gain and a little history/ruins. The parking situation is a little difficult. Next time I would park nearby and get an Uber.

I love to ride here. It’s the closet trail I know of to downtown Atlanta. There’s designated mtb trails as well as hiking trails. I can get a good 8 mile ride in a single loop or do a shorter 5 mile loop for a quick ride.

Wide open trails with natural tree covering. Runs parallel to the river. Working bathrooms and fountains at each trail entrance.

The trail is big and spacious with the view of the chatachoochee river on the side and hence social distancing is easier. There are a lot of people visiting this trail since it is pretty popular

  • 4/5 jeffrey b. 4 years ago on Google
Great place to walk, run or bike. Trails are wide, scenic & mostly run along the Chattahoochee river. There are additional trails on boardwalks that run through the wetlands. Mature trees create enough shade to cool the trail.

  • 4/5 Jason L. 3 years ago on Google
What's there to say about this place that hasn't already been said or isn't known? It's a parking lot with access to the river basically.

👍👍 This park is enclosed with a kid-proof gate and fencing. It has an area for older kids and toddlers. The older area is shaded so that the equipment doesn't get as hot in the summer. They have slides and a small rock climbing area and toddler swings.
