We had great time in old Dutch Hotel The service was great, very friendly and very kind. The room is clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast was really simple and tasty. Really enjoyed it for the mid range hotel its the right choice

Good service, very clean, the rooms are spacious, the breakfast is quite good, but boring, every day got the same food for breakfast.

We ordered hamburgers and told them we were in a rush. 25vminutes later still no food. For a hamburger!!!!

Room are quite nice, the food is good. Nice hotel for a holiday visit in Volendam. For a Business hotel it lacks some Service. No mini-bar, receiotuon with limited hours.

Zimmer in Ordnung. Frühstück könnte besser sein. Lage ist sehr gut.

Wir war dort nur essen. Ich dachte das wir als Kunde irgendwie stören. Das einzige Restaurant. Indem der Keller noch mit Notizzettel die Bestellung aufnimmt

Sehr unfreundliches Personal!!! Mein Kind hatte ein Bubble Tea von außerhalb dabei und wir wurden rausgeschickt in einem sehr unhöflichen Ton !!! Was denken Sie was klüger war der Verlust von einem Kind oder die Einnahmen von 3 erwachsenen ? Ich würde ja verstehen wenn wir Wasser oder so dabei hätten aber sowas geht nicht . Unverschämt!!!

Sehr schönes Hotel mit sehr gemütlichem Frühstücksbereich. Direkt an der Flaniermeile. Schöner Ausblick zum Hafen. Freundliche Mitarbeiter. Leider nur 1Tag in Volendam verbracht, kann es aber in jedem Fall weiter empfehlen.

Das Hotel an Sich ist ganz passabel. Die Zimmer sind niedlich eingerichtet und das Bett ist ganz bequem. Außerdem war der Meerblick schön. Bei der Ausstattung im Bad fängt es dann an. Es gibt keine Flüssigseife und kein vernünftiges Toilettenpapier. Auch das Frühstück lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Es gab aufgeschnittene Tomaten, die aussahen als hätte sie eine 4 Jährige geschnitten. Aufgeschnittene Gurke gab es gar nicht und auch nur eine Sorte Käse. Fleischaufschnitt dafür ganz viel. Normales Körnerbrot oder vergleichbares gab es auch nicht. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt nicht. Wir haben für 2 Nächte + Frühstück über 300 € bezahlt. Wir können das Hotel nicht empfehlen.

We were not in the hotel, we went for lunch and the service was ok but the waiting for the food it was more than 1h, and the plate “special of the chef” it was not good, the risotto it was well cooked and fish missing seasoning.

Poor experience all round. It is true that the inclusions of the room don't mention a tea coffee kettle, but at the price level of this hotel and recent renovation mentioned ,this is not something one would expect to check while booking! But this hotel does not offer that basic convenience. They want you to go down to the restaurant and buy it, so you must change and go down to the restaurant before you can have a morning coffee! The bathroom amenities are the cheapest quality too and most limited. No cream. No conditioner. No hand tissue. The weather gets quite warm in the summer but there is no cooling provision in the rooms, whereas the bedding provided is the same as the winter. One cannot open the window because of street noise. Check out is 11am and this is the FIRST time ever, a hotel refused to extend it even by 20min!! For no real reason, except attitude.

The staff was rude, mostly all of them. Couldn't really enjoy the food looking at their face

Fish and chips and the pasta was extremely salty. Salmon and bread is mediocre.

Room was fine but felt a bit expensive especially considering we had to pay a 'city tax' on top of what we had already paid. The included breakfast was pretty good.

The location is unmatched. The rooms were serviceable, if lacking in a bit of character. But clean and comfortable. The restaurant was very nice. Try the smoked eel and ossenworst.

Decent enough to recommend it but what can you expect from a hotel middle in the tourist area. Breakfast is ok but no pastries like croissants and no fresh fruit available. Instead of a shower soap dispenser you get two 'ketchup bags' with soap hardly enough to wash any body parts.

The restaurant serves tasty local food, and if you choose to sit outside, you can watch tourists stroll by or boats leaving the harbor.

Good food if you are on a rush. Not spectacular, but good. Sunny hours spent on the terrace, the view is lovable, over the port. Good prices, nice waiters., very food location.

Restaurant was super expensive. Paid more than 22 euro for a schnitzel that is for sale in the supermarket for 3 euros (the exact same one. I've had it before). Partner had a steak which was average and overcharged. Wine was also a let down. Staff didn't great us on the way in. Disclaimer: just used the restaurant (not the hotel).

The first restaurant we visited since we arrived in volendam. The staff were nice and the food was okay. I got the shrimp dish with butter and it wasn't that bad but not that good. But my partner ordered the hamburger and it came with a meat on the bread just one bread on the bottom so we were really confused about that hamburger without a bun🥲

People were nice. Hotel was clean though a bit lacking in amenities...no hair dryer or coffee maker. No air conditioning or fans, which was needed! One of the windows had no screen so we couldn't open it for a breeze.

Beautiful restaurant with a nice staff and really important : good food. sitting inside on a super hot summer day allows you not only to see the beautiful Harbour but also remain hidden from the burning heat. the drinks and food was really nice. I really would advise you guys to check that out.

The emphasis is on "Old". However the Wifi worked quite well

I stayed here in 2015 and had such a magical weekend that I decided to come back 5 years later. The place didn't change much and it would need some fresh up. The room was very hot and the mattress very soft. I don't think I'll come back again.

Great hotel, on the best place of Volendam @ the harbour.

Had lunch here on a weekday so it was pretty quiet. Some nice food of good quality on the lunch menu and a nice view over the water.

Room was good staff, friendly, breakfast ok, we ate at the restaurant and found the price was quite expensive for what we got, was shocked to have been served with canned salmon as a part of a €15 starter😡 and with the main i got rice from the microwave the plating was very 70's very disappointed no wow factor

Nice hotel! It's has an excellent location. Service very kind.
