Professor Kliment Arkadyevich Timiryazev taught at the Petrovsky Agricultural and Forestry Academy, founded in 1865. In 1923, the academy was renamed the Agricultural Academy named after K. A. Timiryazev. And in 1924, a monument to Timiryazev was erected on Petrovskaya Square.

I really love this place with a rich history. Here you can walk and listen to birdsong in summer. A cozy corner of Moscow.

A wonderful monument. And it's worth it right.

How can you evaluate a monument? The place is very good near it. Flower beds, nearby the Mus Clock Tower. An ancient manor and pedestrian alley. And even the busy traffic on Timiryazevskaya Street does not bother you.

View the monument. Take a walk in the park. If you have time, all this is worth doing.

A comfortable place for cycling and rollerblading (and a longboard with a scooter in the future)!
