Not just a tasting at this fab hilltop vineyard but a really great personal tour from the owner Marie-Claire. Through the vines and the cellar and bottling facilities. All family run, we learned a lot. And of course a generous tasting session. Was open in mid afternoon when many nearby were closed. Cycle and car parking. We emailed to arrange just a couple of hours ahead. They couldn't have been more helpful.

Interesting tour by the owner's wife, Marie-Claire, with all the stages of wine production. One of 7 AOCs in Vouvray. Finished by tasting, sparkling rose was particularly good.

We visited l'Epinay for a tasting and it was lovely. Beautiful setting, warm welcome and a real personal touch (English speaking too). The wine is magnificent and very reasonably priced, particularly for the quality. It's a smaller winery and certainly worth a trip as the others we visited were more commercial so it was something a little different. We weren't sure if we could just show up but it was fine, worth noting they are shut for lunch 12:30-2pm I believe (as all the others seemed to be too).

J'ai séjourné dans ce très beau domaine à l'occasion du week-end de la Toussaint et j'ai été plus qu'enchantée! D'abord, l'accueil chaleureux de Marie-Claire, qui veille à ce que vous soyez bien installés dans la chambre joliment décorée & confortable et à ce que le petit déjeuner servi soit un réel moment de gourmandise, place votre séjour sous le signe de la convivialité. Ensuite, la visite du domaine et la dégustation des vins de Vouvray (produits par la famille!) sont une belle découverte et riches d'enseignements. Enfin, les conseils précieux de Marie-Claire vous aideront à visiter cette belle région! Si vous recherchez un séjour au calme, au beau milieu des vignes de Touraine (la photo a d'ailleurs été prise depuis la fenêtre de la chambre), n'hésitez pas! The vineyard and winery tour was really personalised and detailed. Our guide Pauline was very knowledgeable and speaks fantastic English. The wine here are really good too, I especially enjoyed the semi-dry still white wine from 2015, it was fruitty, fragrant and smooth. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit here! :)

Une agréable surprise que ce domaine viticole : l'accueil est chaleureux, la visite personnelle est intéressante. Nous pouvons observer et apprendre les différentes étapes de l'élaboration du vin de Vouvrey. Les vins sont très bons, la diversité de production permet d'en avoir pour tous les goûts. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de geste commercial proposé quand on souhaite acheter plusieurs cartons de vin.

This is a wonderful gem of a vineyard up above the town of Vourvray. Antoine, the owner was very generous with his time and knowledge, interrupting his harvesting to give us a tour and a tasting. In a word, the wines are SUPERB! Both the sec and the demi-sec. If you visit just one vineyard in the Vouvray area, make it Le Clos de l'Epinay. Thank you, Antoine!
